Most recent trips have been for breakfast before going shopping. Full breakfast with drink, never have to wait long and food is always delish. Staff are always friendly. Have also been for drinks, never have to wait too long. However, it does get busy

Food was quicker than I expected. Service was great, staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great. It wasn't quiet but it wasn't busy.

Bad communication. If you have different opening hours on January 1st, I can understand that. But why isn't that communicated in the app? Is it really that difficult?

Once the largest pub in the world the MuW is an old Weatherspoons pub. A little rowdy some nights due to its prime location at the busy end of Deansgate at all other times it's perfect for families and children or a quiet pint. The rest? Well it's a Weatherspoons! Surely you know what that means? :)

Lovely big old spoons with additional seating up stairs. Used to be an old theatre 🎭 had some bites and 3 pints. Service was exceptional. The blonde guy upstairs 'ember' was constantly working hard to clear tables and please customers. Some good staff

Called in here on the way to the cinema. I was on a 4 day trip to Manchester . It was very quiet for a Boxing day. Pleasant helpful staff , quick service.

Visita a la hora del almuerzo 16 / 12 / 24 Grupo de 4 ... Comí bacalao, patatas fritas y guisantes ... mi esposa tenía el plato Scampi y nuestro hijo y amigo tenían comidas de hamburguesas. Nuestros platos de pescado eran muy sabrosos y los chicos disfrutaban de sus comidas... No puede faltar la comida...

Very large pub with a dj on sometimes. Really cool looking and cheap obviously. Only annoying is that the smoking area is small and on the main road. My favourite Wetherspoons in Manchester

Really nice large Wetherspoons. The front half was pretty busy (Tuesday lunchtime) but the back half feels like a totally different bar and was pretty quiet. Large upstairs area too with separate bar. First time in here but I prefer it over the Seven Stars, though the drinks are slightly more expensive.

Un edificio antiguo pero en buen estado por lo que exuda ambiente. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Nos atendieron en doble tiempo rápido y fue excelente. Esto nos preparó muy bien para un día encantador en Manchester.

Drink are cheap, it is Huge with an upstairs and downstairs and balcony overlooking the makeshift dancefloor for the weekends and evenings. Good music and vibes here. Can't go wrong on the weekend to begin a night out, with the cheap drinks, dance floor and plenty of room to sit. I'd definitely recommend it. It's on deansgate road too so plenty more places to visit, within walking distance.

Llegué temprano a este pub y pedí un desayuno gratis. A la llegada la comida era en el mejor de los casos caliente. It. Era un día frío y así devolví a Li al bar donde parecía estar causando un gran debate. ¿El gerente me miró y dijo otra? Dije que sí. Hambriento tan bien. Fue un error el segundo vino nadando en grasa un poco más caliente. Esto fue una decepción, pero es Manchester en Navidad. No lo siento, sólo una mirada sucia

Regular wetherspoons during the day, it turns into a "club" at 9 pm Fridays and Saturdays with a good quality audio system, music varies depending on the DJ.

Extremely busy place, quite a large place but fast service but the food here is absolutely shocking. Asked for a cheese and tomato panini and all I got was a tiny bit of cheese and couple of tomatoes for £8.50! Prices are also alot more expensive then my local weatherspoons.

Very poor service and rude bar staff. I understand that the pub can be very busy but when questioned how long our food will be then told to sit down this is not good enough. People were waiting at the bar to order and was just ignored. A elderly lady wasn’t very happy when she got ignored too. The staff defiantly need a refresher when it comes to customer service! We are only in Manchester for the weekend and thought this would be a nice place to eat, but we got a refund and left!

I am utterly disappointed and frustrated by my recent experience with this place. On a rainy evening, we walked briskly for 30 minutes to reach the bar, only to be turned away at the door by security. The reason? We were wearing jeans. This was not only insulting but also completely unbelievable. I have dined at this place 3 times before and never once has my attire been commented on. It feels as though the dress code was merely used as an excuse to refuse us entry and cause unnecessary trouble. It's a shame that such discriminatory practices tarnish what could otherwise be a great establishment. Needless to say, I won’t be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking fair and respectful treatment.

Just wanted to say that the person serving us at table 104 on Friday 22nd November around 2.30pm was very friendly and polite. They were very busy and clearly working hard throughout the time I was there but still made the time to check on all the customers. They even came back to check on us to make sure everything was ok (that doesn’t happen in every Wetherspoons). Clearly they are a credit to the team at this Wetherspoon and I’m only sorry I didn’t get to ask their name.

Nice Pub, in the evening they open up the floor into a dance floor. Unfortunately I was left waiting at the bar for 30 minutes! To eventually be told I'm not being served (despite being served a beverages prior to my wait).. Terrible service. Spoiled an otherwise nice pub.

Manchester Christmas Markets were our target for today as a family day trip out, what a great way to start than with a fantastic value for money and excellent quality breakfast than here at weatherspoons! Could not fault the breakfast, clean plates all round is a sure sign how good a place it is. Will certainly be back, the actual building is a little piece of history with great original features in this deceptively huge place it's got masses of character adding to its warmth and charm. Staff here are brilliant very friendly and nothing too much trouble, service extremely quick. We could not fault anything, see you soon Moon under water!! 5*****

Lovely staff as at many weatherspoons unfortunately the bouncers spoil my visit I was asked to move away from the pub to have a cigarette (I was on a public footpath) when I objected and referred to the fact that I was on a public footpath and the bouncers have no right to tell me where I can stand ....I was calm non threatening just saying what is my right to say the bouncers bevame aggressive and wouldn't let me return to the establishment to even go get my mobile phone and let my friends know I had been barred I will return and ask to speak to the manager as I found this to be totally unacceptable and Mr Bouncer if you think you are above the laws of this land your career will be very short indeed

Visited on Halloween and service was AWFUL, waited 40 minutes for a drink went to the bar to ask the staff how much longer and a blonde girl who said her name was elena was extremely rude, told me and my friends we haven’t got patience and we weren’t going to get our drinks now for “wasting her time”

They that staff hit you and shout at you and drink while on shift witch isnt right what’s a horrible place I will not be stepping on foot in here again it deserves 0 stars

No te dejes llevar por el frente ya que este lugar es enorme en longitud. Grandes zonas de estar , también con alcobas para comer más en privado. Excelentes precios de cerveza y bebidas con un buen menú de comida muy razonable. Excelente personal

Had never been to this Spoons before as I always go to the one by the Print works, but I thought I'd pop in for a change. It's such a gorgeous pub in an old cinema with tables and bar service on multiple levels. It was very busy when we went in but I'd definitely recommend it to anybody!

The pub was busy at around 8:45, surprisingly busy but the clientele was made up of quite a few younger people who were maybe students. A couple of these lads, very young looking were clearly on coke, up to the toilets, back down again sniffing up and wiping their nose and a bit more swagger in their walk! On a Monday night ?? Anyway, we had some food, ordered from our table and the service was good, food was decent and as you’d expect from Wetherspoons for the lower price you pay. No complaints here, I’d just worry about being here on a busy night if young lads are smashing the coke on a Monday, what would the weekends be like! Anyway they didn’t cause us any problems, we just happened to be sat nearby.

Busy pub in the heart of Manchester a large venue so plenty of seating areas. Upstairs is generally more quiet. The food is as a typical Wetherspoons but you get what you pay for.

Fantastic place for a drink if you're in Manchester. There is plenty of seating, but it does get busy at times on the wkend. Staff are very pleasant , courteous , and friendly. Had a good few hrs in here, although I didn't have anything to eat. But the dining area looked quite busy.

Avoid at all costs. We were humiliated by one of the managers and his friends sitting in the booth across from us. THEY THREW THEIR FOOD AT US AND LAUGHED ABOUT IT (completely unprovoked). And then had the audacity to play it off as a joke. Would love to take this further and point out the specific manager involved to upper management. Thank you for making us all feel unsafe and unwelcome!

I visited here yesterday, I can't believe how massive the place is, a simply beautiful building with cheap beer. You will not be disappointed.

Both the food, the service and the atmosphere are very good, and the bathrooms and everything are very clean, I recommend trying this "Brownie" dessert.

Do not order the chicken strips from this place. Me and my flat mate ordered them and we have both been left with food poisoning

A very large weatherspoons pub, in fact I believe it was the biggest pub in Europe at some point. Always a nice atmosphere and usually busy and vibrant.

Always drop in for a pint or 2 before going for a meal. Drinks only half the cost of posy bars. Always meet someone interesting to talk to. Normal people, top pub.
