Very interesting place to walk through when I went in September 2023! And very lovely people who work there - walked in and the man behind the counter was playing a tune on some bagpipes, I think to test them out after fixing them for someone. Had a nice chat and a nosey around. Thanks for making a kiwi feel welcome!

This school is an absolute must for every piper. Great location. Great restaurant and the associated hotel is really nice. The teachers are great and can teach things really well, which works really well even if you're not entirely confident in English. You can feel the passion for the music. It's very familiar, I can recommend it to everyone.

Stopped by to see thr small museum and enjoyed the exhibits. The highlight was my conversation with the young fellow manning the shop who is also a student at the Piping cntr. Flynn was so informative, attentive and willing to answer all my questions regarding music and also his music trayectory and goals going forward. It is touching to see the youth engaged in the musical traditions of this beautiful country. Thank you Flynn! Wish you great success achieving your goals.

The venue was inadequately sized for the event so people were not admitted including those who had friends and relatives competing. We had our wedding ceilidh here and had guests from Europe, Australia and Argentina joining us so it was a difficult crowd to please with such varied cultural tastes. Although Emily and the team made it all come together in a wonderful and seamless way. Emily went above and beyond to make sure we had some extra touches which made it extra special for my husband (and me!) The space, the canapés, the traditional Scottish rolls, the piper and of course the haggis went down a treat and everyone had the best time! Thank you to everyone at the NPC for all of your hard work and it’s truly incredible that you are able to make special such memories happen!

Fantastic, incredible, amazing. Everyone at the piping centre made sure our big day went perfectly. We're so grateful to all the staff, but especially Emily and Lauren who kept us on track throughout the day, and our piper who did a beautiful job piping my wife down the aisle. The team were very good with allergens and made sure all of our guests dietary requirements were taken care of. They were also just generally delightful and friendly, providing a wonderfully welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. I thought getting married would be more nervewracking but everything went so smoothly and we knew we were in safe hands. I wish I could give more stars.

Absolutely disappointing for a Breton bagpipe player. For £5 there is not much to see, only a few old bagpipes on display, this museum only has a small room. No explanation on how a bagpipe works, No video and no demonstration or music to listen to. Can't bring anything to anyone who wants to discover this instrument. As for the adjoining store, the Mac Callums cost more than in Brittany at Ty ar Sonerien.

The first place that we found in Scotland that was not very nice and actually a little rude when we came in. I did give two stars because they did not charge us for the museum. The museum is tiny and we were told when we arrived that another group was coming and so we only could be in there for less than 10 minutes. Turned out the other group was three people. So if you are going to go I suggest booking a pre-advanced tour or whatever it is they do. But it's a bit underwhelming as there's not much in there and not much in the gift shop either. This came up as one of the top places to see in Glasgow and I would recommend spending your time elsewhere unless you're really really really into bagpiping

My daughter held her baby naming ceremony at the piping centre. She ordered a buffet which was lovely. At the end of the event I asked if they had any boxes to take away what was left of the buffet, which was quite a considerable amount. I was told we were not allowed to take any of the remaining food home due to the risk of food poisoning if we reheated it. I assured her we would not be reheating the salad or sandwiches. I was told we were not allowed to take any food home. So what happened to the remaineder of the buffet. Surely perfectly edible food was not going to be thrown in the bin. It was nearly half of the buffet. This is the first time I have come across this practice. What a disgraceful waste of food.
