On a drizzly night, I popped in. Mostly to use the toilet but bought a drink out of politeness. I have travelled the world and should have taken head when the roofing delivered a consistent flood of rain water over the entrance. I am however, a fan of a hidden gem and an empty bladder so braved the waterfall to find the slaughtered lamb inside. 5.30 on a Tuesday. 5 locals crammed the bar falling down drunk exclaiming the kind of views that ensured Peter Sutcliffe went free for all those years. The carpet smelled of dog despite non being present and the varnish left the furniture before I was born. I’m 50. This is truly terrifying and the vaguely bemused woman behind the bar is being abused by most of the United Nations conventions. I suggest staying away if you are female. Or human. Or sober.

I drove past here and was attracted to the award winning fish and chips sign and thought it must be good, It was disgusting and the curry was like water, i asked to see the peas and they did not look anything like chip shop mushy peas. I also asked them about the award they advertise as winning and they could not show me or tell me about it, I even told them it was false advertising and they did not care. It was the worst chippy i have been to, you couldn’t even call it one in my opinion.
