The Old Library in Wealden

Found a hair in the rice, and was told all that could be done was refund the rice. £54.00 order and said I could look through the rest of the food and if I found another hair I could call back. Food was not good and customer service was even worse

i came in around 11 today and was served by a isabelle i think. so rude, wasnt even paying attention to me when taking my order, she seemed too busy just bossing around her coworkers. i ended up with the wrong size frappe. absolutely gutted.

Tried the Hay Waggon, which is under new ownership. Great barbecue with seafood kebabs and amazing local rump steak. Homemade ice creams are to die for. All served up in a wonderful garden

The store inside is in dire need of reconstruction and some paint. Not sure what's been happening but coffee is awfully made (Nov 2023-jan 2024) really burnt tasting. Rather go somewhere else now and it's roughly £11 for a toastie and coffee, not sure what inflation costs are on
