Called in this place whilst visiting the area with my family. It was very clean and looked like it had just had a decor overhaul as It had a very pleasant on the eye. I ordered a breakfast, a chicken salad and a wrap for my son. All was very fresh and the servings were very generous. We would definitely visit this tasty establishment again😋

Popped in with friends for a drink, not realising that they were shut. It didn't matter, they were happy to serve us drinks to take away. Brilliant service. Decided to pop in a couple of days later for a baked potato and tuna. So generous a portion served immediately and the price beat anything in the near vicinity. Highly recommend.

On par with any bistro you would find in the capital and / or other major European cities. A jewel in the heart of Misterton!

We wouldn’t use anywhere else for either outdoor catering or village walk stop off for food. Delicious to eat in or takeaway

I enjoyed my experience at the pantry but it just felt like something was missing. Sadly it was my favorite drink right now: Monster Hydro mean green. The food was incredulous but i just wish that I had some mean green to rinse down my food. I hope that you keep up the great work and take my request into consideration

Rude and arrogant staff at The Pantry, deli counter not worth the visit. Left and went for my Saturday morning coffee and shopping to Uncle Henry's, and had a great time. Good food, and loads of high quality groceries from local producers.

I walked in and had a nice friendly greeting by Thomas Knobs And when the sandwich came I took a bite and the cheese/gemS was extremely nice because it was hand made by Johnny himself.

Hi there, I am marley whelan - when I walked in I got greeted by the lovely man himself 'Tom Hobbs'. I ordered a lovely meal consisting of bacon and sausage sandwich. Tom Hobbs gave me the big sausage if you know what I'm saying.

I have visited twice this month. Firstly, my car was being MOT'd and so I had a walk along the busy Messingham High Street and was drawn to The Pantry due to its lovely clean and bright exterior. Inside, there are just three tables which give plenty of space and there are magazines to browse. There is a wonderful menu, so much choice. I enjoyed a breakfast, which was tasty and was presented very well. I also enjoyed a perfect cup of tea. The staff were also happy and very pleasant and had a lovely way with all the many customers who visited for take out meals. I noticed a lot of ladies popping in for a salad in a box. My second visit this month was to meet a friend for a catchup and we both ordered a quiche salad and it was delicious. The salad was very crisp and arranged on the plate in a very inviting manner. The quiche was homemade and had lovely thin pastry with a very tasty filling. The staff, different to my last visit, were again very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be returning.

Second stay here. Lovely place. Very good quality room at a very good price. Staff obviously busy, it being Christmas period, but helpful. Room large and warm. Clean and tidy. Great looking location, outside courtyard is soooo Dickensian! Very photogenic. If you're looking for something different and quaint this is the place. Was easy to get to Yorkshire Wildlife park from there, also not far to York city, Sheffield centre etc. Well worth it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Black Bull in East Holton, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub itself is charming, and I especially appreciated the dedicated restaurant area. It was quiet and peaceful, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing meal. The Christmas decorations added a lovely festive touch, making the experience even more special. Now, let's talk about the food – absolutely incredible! Every dish was freshly prepared with obvious care and attention to detail. The flavors were fantastic, and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. It's clear that The Black Bull takes pride in serving delicious, home-cooked food. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at The Black Bull. The friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and outstanding food make it a must-visit. Whether you're looking for a festive meal or simply a delicious dinner in a welcoming pub, The Black Bull is an excellent choice.
