The Physic Garden Cafe in Kensington and Chelsea

La última vez que visité el café fue a finales de octubre de 2023 e hice una primera línea para él después del viaje de este año a los jardines. Sí, el lugar ha sido renovado, pero el servicio y la comida ha ido cuesta abajo, drásticamente. Como otros han mencionado, las opciones de menú ahora parecen estar muy enfocadas en los que no comen carne - genial para ellos, pero la selección deslucida no era para nosotros. ¡La selección de pasteles fue triste y el mío sabía como si hubiera estado en exhibición un poco demasiado tiempo! No recuerdo nada del personal de visitas anteriores, pero aprecio que sea un negocio transitorio, y aquellos que trabajaban cuando estábamos allí habrían luchado por haber estado más desinteresados en proporcionar cualquier tipo de servicio, ¡menos una sonrisa! Tratar de atraer la atención de alguien fue vergonzoso, especialmente porque le había dicho a mis huéspedes lo encantador que era el café. Si bien el baño ha sido redecorado, la limpieza deja mucho que desear. Iré a otro lugar a almorzar en mi próxima visita a los jardines.

Este lugar solía ser uno de los favoritos, pero han quitado el pie del pedal. Realmente no me gustó nada en el menú que parece estar mucho más enfocado en vegetales / veganos que anteriormente. Servicio lento, sucio, café - mesa manchada, y una rodaja de congelado - dentro de Victoria esponja con mi té! ¡A los precios que cobran tienen que ser mejores, mucho mejores!

Dirijo una compañía de choferes en Londres y a menudo llevo a clientes extranjeros a visitar lugares famosos y lugares de interés. Esta semana tuve 3 estadounidenses que estaban aquí por negocios, pero también quería ver un poco de turismo. Pensé que sería una gran idea llevarlos al jardín físico y almorzar en el lugar. Qué error. Fue impactante: comida poco inspiradora cara, desorganizada con personal grosero dando actitud a los clientes y mirando al piso evitando el contacto visual. El café era abismal. Completamente insípido y mal servido (es decir, el personal se negó a agregar azúcar al café helado antes de agregar cubitos de hielo para que el azúcar no se disolviera). La mesa de al lado se quejaba, bastante desconcertante.

Poor food menu with limited options (mostly tasteless vegan) and chaotic service. I am a member and was so embarrassed with my guests. What a shame.

This is a cafe in an amazing venue but the food is just not good enough, given the high prices - they charge as much as a King's Road restaurant. There is nothing substantial - dominated by salads at the moment - and for lunch no pasta, no risotto, no sandwiches - just nothing filling. In desperation to find something to sate hunger I tried their sausage roll. It was one of the most revolting things I have ever eaten. Without asking, they heated it to a tepid temperature which caused it to ooze orange oil onto the plate and the pastry was soaked in it.

Indifferent food served by grumpy staff with no interest in the garden or its ethos. Take a picnic if you are visiting.

Abeautiful place to spend good time with friends or family, good coffee, juice, unique decoration and family atmosphere

The menu was interesting with a number of healthy food choices.The restaurant was busy and the staff were helpful. However the only dessert choices seemed to be different types of cake. It is possible to sit outside for your meal.Drink choices were good.

Popped into the Cafe (best to book in advance) after visiting The Physic Garden Chelsea to see their snowdrop collection. Friendly staff. Delightful small cafe. Lovely looking cakes. Will definitely visit again to have lunch and cake!
