Lovely place with local crowd. Has an Indian menu as well which is really good, made for the Indian palate. They have burger nights on Friday I think and it's nice. Lamb chops are the best.

Great food & love the musos that turn up to play their instruments on Tuesday nights.

Booked the plough for our Xmas meal 2024, a very cosy local pub, reasonably priced and accommodated. Our booking accordingly allowed the use of our own music.. Booking was made easily and updated until the day.. The food was delicious, and the service was amazing. I recommend trying this place for an occasion or, otherwise, we had a great time. Thank you to Ushma Derek and all the staff

We didn't have food on this occasion, but The Plough had a wonderful festive atmosphere and we enjoyed Christmas Day drinks. A warm welcome as always from Derek & Ushma. There was step-free access for my wheelchair, and our dog felt very at home. We'll be back!

The food, drink and service was amazing. We were sat next to the door unfortunately so it was a little chilly when it wasn't shut properly but if we were in the back it would have been 10/10. I still highly recommend it, the tea, food and bubbly were amazing!

Where to start… We have been to this pub for many years and they have always had exceptional food and service. When you couldn’t think it could get any better, it did. We came for a family birthday and Derek was amazing. Offered us to connect to Bluetooth so we could play some Christmas/background music. Derek was very attentive as well as the rest of the staff. They helped with the birthday cake we bought along and drinks/food were amazing. Please, please, please, support our wonderful local businesses because they really work hard and deserve it! Would definitely recommend for all occasions! Food is brilliant and atmosphere is lovely. Thank you to the team at the plough, we’ll be back again!

We ordered tandoori mix grill and samosas for starters, Mains were fish and chips, “Pie” and chips and chana Dahl with rice. Samosas were good, lamb chops were tasty sheek kebab was ok but weird texture Unfortunately the chicken tikka tikka was raw. Fish and chips were good. “Pie” was upside down tart, nice but a pie has a crust under and over, should be on menu as top crust pie. Chana Dahl was nice rice was divine. Our only gripe was raw chicken tikka that the kitchen were adamant it was not. Well sorry it was pink. Pic attached restaurants really should realise by now customers don’t complain unless there really is something wrong.

Great Sunday roast dinner with a good choice of mains. The portions were generous and it was good value for money. The food was delicious, but I would have liked a few more roast potatoes! Will definitely be back.

Great traditional local pub with a family friendly atmosphere - Good food both for non veg and veg and good drinks - the burger night stands out to me the most as it’s a great deal the chicken gyro is also a must try. Good beer garden in the summer and also in the winter with a large fire pit. Been going for a few years and you can never go wrong with plough derek and his team take care of the place and make sure you never leave feeling dissatisfied. Oh and the sticky toffee pudding wow it’s tempting every single visit

After a very long time I had dinner at a traditional pub. Being a vegetarian, I have always struggled with pub menus, however I went Chef Dipna’s recommendation “Mushroom Halloumi Burger” with chunky chips and salad. It was one the best vegetarian burger that I tasted, the mushroom and halloumi were perfectly grilled, this burgers even beats the one at Nandos, seriously! Finally, I had Chef recommended “Stick Toffee Pudding with ice cream”, the pudding was amazing with a beautiful velvety sauce. There was a great atmosphere in the pub with live instrumental music playing in the background. Highly recommend this place, will certainly visit again soon.

Food was not great was a bog standard Sunday lunch. Don't think it was helped by the lack of service.

A really good experience with excellent food. Went on Burger 🍔 Night and kitchen currently taken over by Dipna Anand (Brilliant Restaurant, author, chef) as well as great food and menus, excellent price/value and a good selection of beers including a few guest/specials. Highly recommend food, and great atmosphere and service.

One of my fav local places to go. This place has a very homely feel and atmosphere is great. The kitchen has just been taken over by Dipna Anand and their burger nights and Sunday roasts have gotten even better. I had the tandoori chicken burger and my aunt had the tex mex burger. We thoroughly enjoyed. Had the sausage and mash last week and that was very yummy. The stone baked pizzas are not to be missed.

Went for a old friend's retirement do, I missed the food but am told it was excellent. Beer not too badly priced considering where it is.

Service and atmosphere made up for some food issues. But pleasant experience

Excellent and affordable food, drink and service for 30 strong family gathering. We had a memorial service over the road, then had delicious sandwiches, chilli and cake from Ishma and the team at the Plough. Really fresh tasty food, excellent service and lovely location in the function room. Very good choice of beer and wine. Ran like clockwork. Couldn't be happier.

Very nice local pub in a quieter part of London. There are actually a few listed building pubs in this area. Very cozy inside with a nice beer garden out back. Had a fairly extensive menu for food. We just had some chili fries which were good, we were told they mainly did table service for ordering when I had gone up to the bar. Staff were nice. Building is worth a visit if you want to get a sense of an older country side pub but remain within a more suburban area. Beer menu was not large … I ended up with London Pride since it's a Fullers pub. If I was again in the local area I may stop again. I think it would be rather cozy in winter on a cold day!

Started drinking here 52 years ago. Has it changed...dramatically. The London Pride was perfect.

A genuine heritage quintessential English Pub ! The establishment is really old as one can see from the build, the rafters, the fireplaces, the oh so comfy sofas around the fireplaces, the bar and the spectacular outdoor seating areas with the tent like awning covering the outdoor area ! And the food is really good; I just love their chunky chips, crisp on the outside and fluffy from the inside and I think truly the best I have had anywhere in London !!! The staff is friendly and helpful which makes the place a very nice place to meet up with friends and business associates ! But unfortunately I hear that the pub might be closing down as the lease is coming to an end ? It would really be a tragedy to lose such wonderful venue if it were to close down; It would really be a loss to the community ! I hope someone who can do something about it reads this post !

One of my favourite pubs in the area. Their Sunday roast is undefeated! Service is great and live music on Sundays is a great touch.

Great little gem of a dog friendly pub, good staff, selection and the chicken coup in the beer garden was a great distraction for the dogs!

The food on the menu is beautifully cooked, complemented by exceptional service and a hearty range of delightful cask ales and premium beers. I've been in the area for a week now, and this pub has left a lasting impression. I'll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family back home in South Africa when I return.

Great local pub with a lovely cosy interior and spacious beergarden, perfect for the warm sunny summer evenings. The food menu is pretty good as well.

Extremely disapointing. Seems to have changed from a traditional English pub which serves food to a restaurant that serves pints as when I visited again tonight (11 May 2024) I was told I could not order a pint at bar and would have to take a seat and wait for table service. I only wanted a pint of beer, not a meal. I will not go out of my way to visit here again and will instead give my support to help keep proper pubs open.

Went to the Plough for a quick bite and a few drinks, on arrival we were told that the kitchen wasn’t open until 6 so we ended up having a couple drinks before but when we ordered, the food didn’t disappoint, it was worth the wait. Great staff, great service and really good atmosphere. If you’re ever in the area, definitely give it a try

Very very old pub with bags of charm, the food was surprisingly great! Nice wines at decent prices too, outdoor cosy heaters and open fires. It's fantastic on a chilly day.

With fire lit, the warm ambience and hearty feel of The Plough makes this place truly special. Derek, the landlord, has such a welcoming and friendly manner which is expressed through perfectly kept beers, a thoughtful and a very tasty menu. Today we enjoyed a mouth watering carbonara and a perfectly cooked steak - and a range of starters. A real gem and total pleasure in West London - We rarely go anywhere else!

Great local pub and great atmosphere

Excellent local pub. We had our annual Friends Christmas dinner there on Saturday Dec 2nd. There were over 30 of us. Our meal was great, my husband and I both had the salmon as main and it was very tasty. Bartek the chef did a great job. Bearing in mind they were serving over 30 of us (most having 3 courses), there was no extended wait between courses. Waiting staff - Katie and Arati, were tentative and prompt, really lovely staff. Derek & Ushma always do a great job! Thanks again!

We were part of a large Christmas Party at the Plough recently and had a great time! It was super organised, the staff were extremely efficient and attentive, the food was first class, clean plates all around- it was delicious! The scallops were cooked perfectly, the turkey and ham were delicious, filling and beautifully presented! The food and drinks were constantly flowing and the atmosphere was festive. Derek and Ushma see to every detail to make your evening truly such a special occasion with friends! Thank you all again!

Food (pizza) was just OK. Good service and beer. It was close to where we were staying however.

Derek the manager and his staff are the perfect hosts, and have created the perfect country pub - in Norwood Green! Surely, the benchmark for any pub. We’ll be back!

A most splendid hostelry. No question.

Quite a nice old worldy pub nicely located after a walk around Osterley House and Gardens. It has a cottage type feel to it and a big garden with chickens in a coup (you can’t complain that the eggs aren’t fresh here). It looks to be a Fuller’s pub or possibly not long ex-Fullers given they’re reducing their pub portfolio. There is a good mix of people here and the food menu was tempting and well priced. Krombacher and Cruzcampo were among the lager options, which were well received. The chicken Kiev special was very large in size as I succumbed to temptation. Only downside were the staff not being very complimentary about some customers in the pub who were being difficult. It just felt a bit awkward at times. We had no issue with them, but they need to be a bit more professional. Would definitely return. The staff need to just be a bit more careful with their language.

Great little pub. Outside garden was nice. We had fish n chips. Yummy. Good portion size, chips nice and fat and crispy-just how they should be. Good cider on tap too. Service was friendly too. Will go back. Oh parking limited on pub premises as it's a private side road, but free parking across the road.

The Plough Pub is a lovely pub. I visit very often. The management, staff and chefs are amazing. They are very courteous, pleasant, kind, efficient, attentive, friendly and hospitable. The food and cuisine is very delicious, tasty and well seasoned. The menu has a good and great choice of food. Burger night and the Sunday roasts are very enjoyable. The Plough is also very cosy and beautifully decorated.

We visited for a jazz gig by the great Art Themen and we had Sunday lunch, which was faultness - some of the best roast beef I’ve tasted. Desert was also great, but unfortunately served on a roof slate.. The Plough is a lovely original ancient pub in the suburbs of West London with a great covered seating area in the garden. Nice to see a traditional landlord who was on the spot to see that everything was running smoothly.

Random visit during summer. Such a wonderful find! Normally not a fan of Fuller's pubs food, but the summer BBQ menu was a nice change. Steak and gyros were grilled to perfection and sides were tasty. Lovely atmosphere, and dog/child friendly. Only complaint: the (very young) staff member who came to take drinks order had limited knowledge of beer and didn't understand difference between cask and keg. Better to go up to the bar yourself to see what's on tap.

Good ambience, great beers, ales and ciders. Reached late for lunch but they were kind enough to bake an awesome pepperoni pizza and fries.

We turned up at possibly the worse time for these guys with some music festival in the area and some rowdy customers making a scene. The staff did excellent and managed a very tough crowd and some biblical weather. Good food too. Will definitely return on a quieter day with better weather!

Derek and his team are always welcoming and offer fantastic customer service, this is hands down in my Top 5 favourite pubs! It’s so beautiful, with warm rooms inside - can you see the fireplace? - as well as a spacious lovely beer garden. Meal variety ranges from traditional British dishes to pizzas, Indian and Greek ones :) Derek invites rock/blues musicians very often, so stay tuned for gigs. 🎸 What else can you ask for? The Plough really has it all, it’s the very definition of a good pub.

Enjoyable afternoon out in the garden, listening to jazz and having a couple of pints. Table service on Sunday's, service was friendly and efficient. Thanks for looking after us.

They keep hens in squalid conditions with little room or roaming space in a cage in the outdoor garden. I am surprised the RSPCA hasn’t stopped this. Also has public health implications. They have ignored my previous request to stop keeping these animals.

Was a bit disappointed as they were only serving pizza and chips when I took the wife there for lunch otherwise all good

Apparently they started serving a very reduced menu on Mondays, starting *today*. They were kind enough to arrange a couple of vegan burgers for us anyway, though. The young woman taking the order was quite indifferent, but the young man who came out to see if we needed anything else was very pleasant. The food itself... well... if you take a fluffy white bun, douse it in picante sauce, and put it on a fried veggie burger, the moisture has nowhere to go but into the bun. After a bit, it was kind of like a soggy dish sponge. The salsa itself tasted like canned stewed tomatoes. The salad and chips were fine. I appreciate the effort, but maybe leave off the salsa and offer it, or more traditional condiments, on the side? Maybe I'm expecting too much, but for £17 each for a burger, chips, and Pepsi, it seems like it could be better.

The customer service was very appalling specially the guy behind the bar was raciest as We arre regular and this is first time we felt uninvited and even overcharged for the drinks and got us wrong drinks we ordered gin and lemonade when we got the order the taste was wired and when we approach to the server she said we added soda without our concern it is really unprofessional and they don’t care about customer. And when we approached to the guy behind the bar that we overcharged he just rolled his eyes. As we went to celebrate birthday really bad experience

Great płace. Live music on Saturday, nice gardens and plenty place inside. Good food. Fire place in the garden and nice people around. Little pricey but nothing off the ordinary.

Really disappointed here today popped in for lunch only ordered fries nachos and garlic bread. It took half hour for the food to arrive when it did the nachos were burnt and served with cheap dips in a side plate. Had to be the worst nachos ever. On top of that the guy could not understand the problem had I not have been hungry and school run idef would have returned the food. Plus I was charged full with no apology!

Lovely pub, fantastic garden area, food was delicious , great selection of drinks, staff were friendly and great service. We went to see a band who played in the garden. One for the Road if you haven't seen them make sure you do they are worth it. Really lovely afternoon.

This pub really went the extra mile to accommodate the allergies in our family, and the portions were generous. It has a very cute "country pub" feel, complete with traditional "local pub" atmosphere, although the language of some of the raucous locals is not necessarily suitable for children.

Went Xmas eve, no seating inside. Couldn't buy a drink as they said they would serve at the table. Pointless!

What lovely little find me and my girlfriend had a few drinks. Proper old school feel of a pub if we hadn't eaten before we would have tried some food. As the food that came out for other customers looked really nice. But the nice touch was the open fires which made it feel really like Christmas!! We will definitely be going back in the near future.

It was nice and a certain warmth flows. I was in an enclosure which was had a calming effect. Will go back
