Highly recommend visiting Potting Shed if you are in the area ! However, missing the old sheds !

Visited with my daughter and grandkids. The food choices are great and the kids menu a good selection too. I had a wrap and chips and daughter a delicious pizza, kids had pizza too. Waitress (awesome tattoos, glasses and short hair) was wonderful with the kids and was very attentive. Overall a great spot for lunch with family.

I’ve been here several times for different events, and I absolutely love it! Great vibes the staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming. I want to give a special mention to a lovely lady called Alice, who is always so happy and bubbly, she’s goes above and beyond to help. I have a stammer, which can sometimes make me feel nervous about asking for things, but Alice is always so kind and patient when I’m speaking. Her understanding and positivity mean so much to me, and it’s one of the many reasons I’m more than happy to keep coming back!

Had our family Boxing Day lunch (14) with other family members arriving later and what a great time we had. From booking the table and sorting out food the service was first class. The dishes arrived quickly and we were all very happy with our meals. Our waitress was very attentive and extremely pleasant and helpful. A very happy and relaxing get together. Well done to all .

Excellent food and overall great experience! Staff were very friendly and the service was great, Alice B took care of us all afternoon and made our experience even better. The Italian Night was an absolute steal in terms of value for money and quality of food.

Wow wow wow, the food here is amazing, had the greatest time. The service Alice E and Ruby gave me was so good, both of them were so nice and loved seeing the enthusiasm from Alice. I want to give a massive well done to Leila and Bianca for making such amazing food. If you haven’t visited here before I would highly recommend giving it a visit.

Nice lunch that for £20-30p.p was a good price. Family friendly atmosphere, clean facilities, and the staff were really helpful. Dogs are allowed. Plenty of outdoor seating too

Another fab evening at the potting shed. The staff have done a brilliant job in decorating the place so it feels super Christmassy and inviting. A great place for a pre-Christmas get together!

Came by for lunch before appointment, the festive options looked great but the bbq burger was what I chose. It came quickly and tasted amazing. The drinks took a while but ok when they came. Helen our server was lovely…taking time to check all was ok and to wish us the best for our day and the season. We travelled a long way and this was a much needed relax point.

We had a lovely meal, group of 4 and it came in at about 90 for 2 courses and drinks, so very reasonable. Staff were lovely, shame they couldn't put a tip on the card as we wanted to tip but had no cash on us. We all chise different foods - burgers, bangers and mash, fish n chips and something that looked good and came sizzling (can't remember what it was, sorry!). Strangely struggled to get drink options considering it is a pub, lots of things unavailable, but we all found something good. For info, the coke zero came in a bottle and the diet coke as a pint, so diet was cheaper for more. Halfway through the meal, a quiz started too, so free entertainment thrown in!

Popped in for the lunch offer today and must say I was very happy! Under £10 for a Caesar wrap and a drink, will be returning. Thank you Kim for such a welcoming service. Can't wait to come back!

Music was great, got us in the mood for festive time of year, service from waitress Helen was attentive but not too overbearing, the food was great; recommended by Helen, cooked by chef fran, especially the festive fries and there is plenty of choice on the drinks front from cocktails to beer to hot drink. We didn’t have room for pudding but sticky toffee will be had next time for sure.

Had a great meal last night at the Potting Shed, really helpful staff, our server Ruby was lovely and was always there if we needed something. Nice food and a brilliant night.

Visited with a group of friends for food and drinks on Saturday night, great service from Oli and Alice at the bar and Ben’s pizzas were amazing !

Had the most amazing lunch here with my girlfriend! Alice B made the tastiest cocktails and Fran cooked up the best cheese and bacon burgers and our waitress Helen was the most friendly lady, speedy service too! 10/10 will eat here again!

Went for a meal tried to order 2 dishes of the menu and never had either, the meal took 45 minutes to come out and both meals was stone cold, had to then wait to have it re cooked, so my daughter ate her tea on her own. The pub it self was nice , but received bad service from start to finish.

Lovely food! Only down side is it took too long for the food to arrive, nearly an hour, for a burger, pizza and chips with sauce 😒🤔🙄😫

The Potting Shed had been recommended by a friend. We called in on a Sunday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised how much space there was. The atmosphere was good, staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good choice of drinks and the food was nice. Would definitely call in again whilst in Beverly.

Pizza was absolutely delicious! Had the Diavola Pizza and it was cooked perfectly, really tasty. Hats off to chef Leia who outdid herself. 10/10 will be returning soon

cook food correctly under cooked chips garlic bread not cooked more like a wrap too much pepper on the garlic bread and hardly any garlic on bill was incorrect 4 times worst restaurant been too

Waiting quite awhile for food saw waitress wondering around with my order had to chase her she just put it down no cutlery or napkins table was sticky unclean asked for it wiped never happened .tried to tear pizza apart to eat by now quite cold had to wait at bar for cutlery as we had ordered a side of coleslaw couldn't eat with our hands..coleslaw came in a dish no bigger than an egg cup chips slightly bigger dish counted were were 10 chips of which six too hard to eat over cooked ..meal cost £20 but not worth half ..poor service and poor food tasteless cold won't eat there again disappointing

The food was lovely, service was good except they forgot our extra bowl of fries and onion rings, so had eaten most of our food by the time they arrived! There was a party on so we sat in the little room, we had it to ourselves, would have been perfect if we could have closed the door as everything someone entered a cold draft swooped in, the room was very cold! Friendly staff, wouldn't recommend sitting in the small room to your right as you enter as very cold!

We had our wedding reception here on 8/10/24 and we had such a wonderful experience! We hired the room upstairs where you have a private bar that was manned by the lovely Alice this evening. We had a small party, a 2 course sit down meal and were able to play our own music. Alice was so lovely and helpful all throughout the evening, she couldn't have been more wonderful! 😊 Our event was organised by the lovely Ellie, who was so organised and helpful. I highly recommend The Potting Shed, especially for events!

we ate here at the weekend and i very much enjoyed a pizza and my wife loved the chicken fajitas The Potting Shed do some great mid week offers, 2 for 1 on pizza , 2 for 1 on drinks, 2 for 1 on other meal deals next time we are in town, we will definetly pop in to enjoy one of these good offers

Well went last night on a fri ,not that busy ,ordered food at the bar ,it took 40 mins to come and I had to ask where it was .When it did come both the chicken burger ,and beef burger where stone cold. Nobody asked us if the food was ok so we drank our drink and left .I will never eat there again.

I recently booked the lounge for a Paint and Prosecco event I was hosting, and it was a fantastic experience! Ellie, the Manager, was incredibly helpful throughout the booking process and during the event setup. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she ensured everything went smoothly. I’ll definitely be booking this venue again for future events! Highly recommended!

Nice clean place, good value, will pop in again

Big group of us celebrated my daughter's birthday. Prepared orders were taken for the majority of the group and was told that the ones that didn't have their pre orders in may have had to wait for their meals. It was the opposite and my daughter's meal was one of the last to arrive. We had the same meal and the burrito shell was very oily but the filling was tasty. The fries were served separately to the main meal and for those whose main meal was served last this wasn't great. When it came to paying I had emailed to notify who would be paying together. This created some confusion. The manager didn't speak to me. Instead, sent the waitress and gave her a copy of an email sent to me, the terms and conditions, to be given to me. She shouldn't have been put in that position. The parking is very small.

Called in for an early tea, first visit here. A popular very big pub with a large beer garden adjacent to Beverley Leisure Centre playing field. Food was the right price for the quality. Parking was easy in late afternoon. Probably very popular in the evenings. Good, helpful staff.

As a visitor to Beverley, came across the potting shed with the intention of having lunch. As always, ordered drinks to enable us to view the menu. The menu showed £5 off pizza /burger when ordered with any drink. This would have been nice to know when I ordered the drinks, but no mention at the bar. We were approached 15 mins later to ask if we would like to order any food. Needless to say we declined, but would have, if we had been informed of the lunchtime offer prior. Shame really because it's really nice place.

Absolutely love this place, service is always wonderful and friendly and is very child and dog friendly. Food is wonderful and throughout the week they have regular deals like 2 for 1 which make it a great value choice for family meals out!

First time here for one their mid-week offers! And what a great offer it was Tuesday is 'American' themed, so we opted for the Gnome burger, with skin on fries and accompanied this with lots of 241 cocktails. Freshly cooked, the burger was delicious but so large, ended up eating with knife and fork which didn't detract from our enjoyment - just made it easier to not get messy! The cocktails were great too and we enjoyed Cosmos, Long Island Iced Tea and French Martini. Great drinks and food night! And the staff are so laid back, it made our night so more enjoyble!

Great food choice at good prices, good service, great band on, Band of Strangers ( rock covers ). Bar staff mostly good, one was a bit vague with her service.

Staff were very attentive and friendly. Great dog friendly place and nice location. Unfortunately food was average at best, so let it down for us. Both set of chips were very oily and soggy, fish fingers over cooked. Nachos were quite plain.

We had to wait 45mins for a BLT sandwich and an All Day Breakfast. The drinks were overpriced (£13.50 for a large Sauvignon Blanc, so I decided against it!). I had ordered a glass of lemonade and.it came in a small glass (less than half a pint) with lots of ice, so hardly any lemonade!). My husband had coffee. We'd finished the drinks well before the food arrived. My husband had asked for his eggs to be cooked hard and for the black pudding to be replaced by a sausage. These requests weren't carried out and he had to send the meal back. The sausage and eggs arrived separately 5 minutes after my husband started eating the rest. The chips served with our food were soggy and looked and tasted as if they'd been cooked in old oil. The bacon was streaky and very salty. The toast on both meals was cold. Altogether a bad experience. We wanted a simple, quick lunch and The Potting Shed didn't deliver. It wasn't even that busy.

We can't recommend this place high enough, especially throughout the euros, we've watched every match here, had our preferred table booked and ready for us, jess and the rest of the staff have been amazing, never had to wait to be served even though it was extremely busy, thank you to all at the potting shed for making our euros the best experience,

visited with friends for brunch and was very disappointed. advertised as 2 hrs with 90 mins service. I know the dance so checked my mates phone when we ordered the first drink 1409hrs. at 1515 the waiter said this is your last round. as im not one to squirrel away and write a bad review I spoke to the manager. explained and she said she'll go check. and came back with POS iPad which said the first drink was ordered at 14oohrs. either the time was wrong or they had gone to great lengths to not provide the last round of 9 watered down cocktails. on some of the parties friends 360 it showed us walking in at 1402. 5 mins to get settled and get a round in. 1 member of the party did get in at 1400hrs and waited for us. im pretty sure the cctv would have settled the case but im not that desperate for another cocktail. its just a sorry state of affairs when a business is conducted in such underhand manners. I'd scrap the brunch off the menu if I was them. certainly want be back. which is a shame as Im sure with in 1000+ reviews I have done there is a couple of good ones for here. the food is always good, and was good on the brunch. shame about the boozing

A mullet of a pub. Traditional front, lovely old building, but with a large modern sports bar style rear with large windows and comfortable seats. Large selection of beers. Everything clean and well kept.

Disappointed in our service and wait time for our food. Took 50 mins for 3 dishes to arrive including a kids meal because they had a big order, which I appreciate but if they had said of the wait then we would have politely accepted and not ate. We were finally offered a 50% discount of which was processed at the time but yet to see in my bank since the day which was the 7th June.

Super dog friendly and delicious food

Took our four year old grandson for lunch. We had to wait well over an hour for our food which doesn't go down well with a hungry child. My Caesar salad was poor. No parmesan. Dressing separate and not tossed on salad. Bacon undercooked. Husbands Yorkshire pudding wrap was small for the price and the meat chewy. The chips were poor and my grandsons peas tasteless and like bullets. Expensive and poorly cooked.

Really nice lunch. Only 4 star as I thought the wine was expensive. Lovely service by a lad who recognised our dog breed as his gf parents had one. Nice menu and it is a stunningly decorated building. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Force you to have plastic glasses so clearly don't care what the beer tastes like.

I had a good experience, the food was great, and the drinks were good. My only reason for a 4* was, being in the beer garden seeing many staff pass tables full of empty glasses, food plates and not clearing them. This was over a long period, we went mid day and weren't busy inside or out. I would suggest offering water in dog bowls, for people who come with dogs, would be a nice gesture.

Perfect venue for a private function. The food was nice and the staff were really helpful and pleasant. My only criticism is that the function room could do with some acoustic treatment. So many hard reflective surfaces for standing waves. The sound was altogether too harsh and hard on the rats after a while. Otherwise, faultless.

2nd visit and still as impressed! This time popped in on a lunchtime and had lunchtime special. Lovely hand made pizza, wraps and home made chips! Absolutely no complaints and my mum especially loved the coleslaw, and my dad the homemade chips. We all had lunch and a drink offer and it was great value at £30 for all 3 of us. Planning a return visit for lunch again this week.

The pub has a great atmosphere with a decent selection of drinks available. The food on the other hand is pretty lousy, between the 6 of us we ordered a variety of dishes and only the pizzas were OK, my pie was alright but server with what I can only describe as the worst chips I have ever seen let alone tasted, they were soggy as hell and barely even cooked that was after a 45 minute wait while the pub was very quiet, we will not be going back anytime soon, and unless there is a huge movement to better catering we won’t be eating there again!

We only wanted picky bits to share so ordered a chicken bbq pizza and nachos. The pizza came with just cheese peppers n a smidge of bbq sauce on not a piece of chicken on it. Nachos were crap some hard cheese smothered in hot spicy salsa n some guacamole so dry n tasteless. First time wev eaten here wouldn’t eat again. The bar staff so miserable not one of cracked a smile,

The food used to be great here however, I will not be eating here again. The meal was way over priced for what you got, it was the same size as child’s portion! The meal was £14.95, my daughter’s cheese burger and chips was the same portion size which cost £6.95 the burgers were overcooked and dry and inedible for my daughter. I had the same meal last year and it was lovely and twice the size. What has changed in this time? I don’t ever leave a review but still can’t get over the fact we actually paid for this meal.

Bottomless Brunch We arrived and our table was ready. Lily explained how it all worked and ordered our 1st cocktails which were yummy and they kept on coming during the 90 minutes. We both ordered chicken kebab and chips. It was terrible the chicken was cold, old looking salad and the bread was rock hard you couldn't cut it. Chips were OK a lot of crispy ends. The pizzas looked good. 100% don't get the kebabs

The potting shed do a company of the week promo and jewsons was this weeks company to be selected. You get a £50 bar tab to spend on drinks and food .we went on Friday night was shown to a table ,offered a drink ,and ordered some food which was absolutely amazing .The staff were fantastic. Waitress service was 1st class .we will be going back
