¡Qué placer haber sido mimado por Andrew y su equipo! Tuvimos una maravillosa visita relajante y volveremos de nuevo! Charlamos con Andrew que es bastante conocedor!

Liam era un gran anfitrión, muy atento y la comida de Navidad era muy agradable, pero podría haber sido más caliente y la salsa de carne con pavo era muy extraño!

If I was only allowed to use one word to describe my visit(s) to the Prince of Wales, Hammersmith it would be wonderful. Wonderful welcome. Wonderful staff. Wonderful food. Wonderful atmosphere. Wonderful value for money. Wonderful environment. Wonderful manager overseeing the I had such a lovely time there with a group of friends for lunch that I returned two weeks later with more friends. There were 7 of us from the Council for a Christmas lunch. We had never been to PoW before, so was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, the Service, the quality of food and especially the atmosphere. I shall certainly be returning to this wonderful place. Please try you will certainly not be disappointed.

We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding service we received for the celebration of our dad’s life in November 2024. The venue was perfectly equipped and ideal for the occasion, and the food was both delicious and well-organised. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly, and the DJ was lovely, creating a wonderful atmosphere for everyone. A special mention to the exceptional manager, Klyde, who’s warmth and kindness made us feel right at home. We look forward to visiting again soon!

My friend and I just came home from our stay at the POW and I was so happy with our stay I wanted to take the time to write a review. We received a lovely warm welcome from an Irish fella who made us feel instantly relaxed and at ease. The place itself has a real charm to it and staff couldn’t do enough for you, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Location wise was perfect for the Hammersmith Apollo which was a short walk away. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and I genuinely couldn’t find a fault. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Después de otro largo período, tuve una pinta plana de Moretti golpeada frente a mí por un miembro lobotomizado del personal del bar que erróneamente asumió que era alguien de una película de Guy Ritchie. Lo cambiaron a regañadientes por la cerveza que yo había pedido y pagado originalmente antes de salir corriendo a terminar su conversación. Mientras mi amiga sufría a través de su cena fría, que se suponía que era “pechuga ahumada en rodajas cocinada lentamente”, cocinada por su equipo especializado de agentes de microondas, no podía esperar a irme. Desde mi visita, he tenido escrito en mi testamento que mi recepción fúnebre NO se llevará a cabo en este pub, ya que no puedo soportar la idea de estar allí de nuevo, incluso cuando mis restos humanos cremados descansan en una Urna.

Tables not wiped, litter in garden, some glasses dirty rim, food below average, poor table clearance. Regret to say the only positive was that the staff were friendly. Certainly won't return.

My mates 40th birthday party was held here non-exclusively. They do Sinha on tap (my fave) and the food was top notch 👌. Nice outdoor area with seating and booths. I'd be here all the time if I was closer. Staff were also friendly and attentive. Thanks for good beers and good times.

Vi bodde på deras hotell ovanför puben. Stora rum, sköna sängar och tyst trots att puben var under oss. Även puben är precis som man vill att en engelsk pub ska vara. Personalen supertrevlig och hjälpsam. Maten är också bra.

I went there for my birthday party and to watch football. Lovely team with a great manager. They booked me the best table without asking. Serves great food and great drinks! Although the wait at times was a bit long, but the staff was very friendly and doing their best! Would definitely recommend to a friend and will be back when opportunity presents itself.

I came to the Prince of Wales Townhouse for my birthday with my friends, and it couldn't have been better! We were treated incredibly well and thoroughly enjoyed the 2-for-1 cocktail happy hour, I would 100% recommend!

Great roast, good beers, shuffle board, awesome outside area and great staff. We did a 1pm lunch and left at closing time. Top class west London pub

Fantastic vibe, really lovely and diligent staff, great priced drinks and food and fantastic quality at the same time. Exactly what me and my function were looking for. Really great spot too - nice and close to the centre of Hammersmith, but at the same time in a quiet area.

Great lively pub post rugby - accommodated 20 of us for food and drinks. Clive was a great host and the staff team really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our visit thank you

We came for a quiet light valentine's dinner for two. I was warmly welcome and attended to straight away. I was impressed to see my name on our reserved. The young lady who served us was polite and friendly and professional. Our meal was beautifully presented and tasted delicious except the bacon 🥓 was badly burnt.

I'd previously booked for a Sunday evening, to watch an American Football game, and had specifically asked what time they stopped serving food, as the game didn't kick off until late. We were told 10pm – as it states on the website – and arrived at 9.10, only to be told they'd stopped serving food. When I explained that I'd been told they served until 10, they apologised but said the chef had gone home. They offered me a free meal another time, which I accepted. I then made arrangements for this second visit, clarifying that the meal would be on the house. I had to follow up twice to confirm this, but it was eventually confirmed that yes, we'd receive two main courses on the house. When we returned on the designated night for our meal, we were greeted by the manager who said, 'Ah yes, you're the chancers after a freebie; I'll see what I can do.' He was evidently aggrieved about having to provide a free meal, and sure enough, when it came to paying the bill, only one of the meals had been comp'd, and none of the drinks. The manager had by this time left, and when I queried the bill, I was told by the staff member that there was nothing he could do. All in all, a pretty poor experience – and rather short-sighted on the part of the venue. I live very close to the pub, which would be a very convenient venue for me to watch sport regularly,, After the first mistake, they had a chance to do something about it and win my regular custom. Instead, they made situation worse. I won't be back.

Went for Burn's Night. Food was just okay. Whiskey was nice, although a bigger measure would have been nice. Expected live piper and Burn's Ode to the Haggis, but they played a recording. Wasn't special except for the amazing staff.

Christmas dinner was lovely three course big portions. Decorations Christmas was lovely staff service excellent ten out ten . Highly recommend thank you to all amazing staff

We were here on Christmas Day The Manager Klyde went above and beyond to get it all right for us we were a big booking but nothing was to much for him definitely recommend The Prince of Wales

Great atmosphere. The best roast we have had. The meat was really meaty, not just thin slices but decent chunks of meat. Everything was hot and delicious. Horseradish sauce provided without asking.

Geweldig goede ligging (2 minuten lopen van de metro). Nostalgische uitstraling, mooie typisch Britse pub en goed eten. Kamers zijn ruim en schoon. Je weet dat je boven een pub verblijft, dus besef dat er vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag een band of een DJ optreedt, die tot 12 uur voor gezelligheid zorgt.

Such a great pub, had a lot of fun playing Shuffleboard for such a reasonable price. Staff always super friendly and welcoming and a fantastic drinks selection. Couldn't recommend enough!

Great afternoon and night at the townhouse. Accommodated about 50 people quite late notice and could not have been more helpful. Friendly staff, lovely pub and games with lots of choice and different offers on food and drink available. Lovely outdoor space. Thanks to everyone who helped us all have a great time.

Great place to watch the rugby. Friendly and efficient service with an outside space and cosy nooks.
