The Protein Cafe in Middlesbrough

Very expensive £38 for 4 sausages, 3 tiny lamb chops, chips, a little dish of rice and a few sauces. The sausages were nice and the lamb chops were like rubber very disappointing.

Lovely night lastnight to celebrate my partners birthday. Everytime we’ve come we’ve felt looked after so we knew we wanted to spend a special occasion here. Food was spotless, waiters attentive and Nati particularly made us feel welcome. I’m pregnant so I thought I would miss out on the cocktails but the mocktail tasted just as good if not better! Just tried this fir the first time . WOW WOW WOW . Got the Licuous double mash burger. Came with 4 x 3Ounce patties. Has to be the most delicious burger I have ever tasted beautiful flavour and the fries are cooked really well nice & crispy fries . The sauces are amazing too. And sooo resonanably priced . A credit to them for this fine Establishment. One of the best burger & Phily Steaks places to eat local to the North East 👍

Came with family after the boro game.went to the bar at half 4 to be informed food had stopped. Menu states food served till 5. When asked staff at the bar I was told thet food had been stopped and if this was a problem I would be kicked out. I feel this was terrible customer service as we were sat with menus and were not told that they would be stopping serving food early. I am realy disappointed as we were out for a family and friends meal and it realy spoiled our night

Lea and Jess made our meal an excellent experience. Lovely food and amazing place to eat. Will return happily for another steak
