Amazing friendly staff helped make our Sunday lunch special. Alex at the bar and later coming around to see if we enjoyed our meal was so friendly and informative. Our Waitress was Faye and she too was so helpful and smiley. There was also a young 16 year old girl who served us and I thought she was doing an amazing jobOur group of four could not speak more highly of the staff; a refreshing change to the many establishments I have visited recently. I also intend to come and watch the Liverpool games here as the facilities for viewing are excellent.

We've eaten at Village Hotel Pubs before, and the food is fine. However, we had a bottle of prosecco and they did not have any correct glasses, which was disappointing.

Enjoyed a huge beef burger and cold drink, great to have a food on site. Welcoming staff and reasonably priced.

Stayed at the hotel next door, listen, there's no need to have extortionate prices unless you offer something truly amazing. Unfortunately this is just a hideously over priced pub.

Stayed in the hotel & just wanted a snack so used this pub attached. Waited 30 mins although it was quiet, Burnt toasted sandwich & oven chips £9. Not for me thanks.

Tuna melt toasted sandwich was well filled, with plenty of fish and salad. Very good chips too. There can be a little wait here when they are especially busy, but the service is usually good.

"Tender(s)" here means the chicken variety and very good they were too - crisp and golden and nicely served in a large, paper cone, set on a wooden block and with a little dish of garlic aioli. To follow, I had a mug of delicious, tangy lemon cheesecake, with a thick and crunchy biscuit base. The price was fair and the service excellent.

Went in on a Sunday evening ( August Bank Holiday) when staff told us the hotel was full but probably 20 people in total here. Possibly something to do with over-priced drinks. No draught beers on due to technical issues which meant if you wanted a beer it was the more expensive bottled option.

Had a lovely meal here, the staff were very very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Price wise was very good and when next in that area will certainly dine there again

I dropped into The Brambles Pub with family and friends to watch the West Ham v Liverpool match and what a great time we had. A decent enough pub, spacious, an eye catching serving bar dominates the main room, pool tables, big screens to enjoy the sport, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub ,its just a good old fashioned locals pub. I stayed on pints of beer from Carling Brewery, not my usual tipple, more a real ale and craft beer fan myself but this beer was ok, cut through the thirst and was great value for money. I really enjoyed my visit here ,our group stayed here for about 3 hours plus ,had a ball ,couldn't fault anything about our visit here before we moved on. The Brambles Pub is easy to locate along Cherryfield Drive in Kirkby Town Centre. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Part of the car park is closed so what do click and collect do, put cones out to add to a more congested area, really clever!!!!
