Great curry, delivery driver very polite, keep up the good work.

It’s the place. I ordered tandoor chicken I got chips and chicken bites.

Love this place food is unreal but over 2 hours for delivery is a disappointment ordered at 7 pm it's now 9.30pm and it's still not here

Totally one of the best I have had, got the set meal for 2, was lovely and hot (no need for the microwave) lots to eat we have left overs for tonight. Will definitely try again

Honestly highly reccomend! I've been going here now about 9 years! and It never misses a beat. They always try their best to fulfill notes on the order, they have rang me if something needed changing. The food is just amazing, that boiled rice I could just eat plain. The butter chicken is insanely beautiful and they always shot in some freebies. I've tried other places but this place is our comfort place. Thankyou so much.

Lovely food, set meal For 4 was well worth it!

My food was 2 and a half hours late rang the shop 4 times to be told each time it will be 15-20 minutes when the food came it was freezing cold and one curry had spilt all over the carrier bag

Poppadom was crushed, chips were cold and soggy, naan bread was a little bit hard, waited for ages

After a couple of phone calls out order finally arrived two and a half hours late, the driver was full of apologies but it's not his fault. My madras was ok but my wife's chicken tikka masala reassembled vegetable soup with a bit of chicken.we use this place regularly but will be ordering from elsewhere from now on. The man on the phone was very rude and put the phone down on me. Poor service

Not very nice at all, lamb was like it’s been brought cubed and in frozen. Naan bread was thick and terrible and just all together the curries were well off par compared to most of our local Indian takeaways.

ordered food 6.10 turned up at 7.55 wrong curry said it had been delivered but hadn’t food was terrible randy restaurant and they said that how it should be it’s chicken in red water

Food is always ver nice from here ! Comes nice and hot, can’t fault and are the most reasonable priced £7 for chicken tikka and rice elsewhere is usually £7 for curry alone ! Highly recommend always been using the raj for years, since I’ve been young since my parents used to always order from here !

Ordered from Raj for the first time tonight at 18:30 and delivery time initially said 19:30. Delivery then got delayed twice. Spoke to Raj over the phone on 2 occasion first time saying driver would be 10 minutes and second time pretending the driving got lost although able to describe where my street was. Cancelled order but delivery driver still tried to deliver food nearly 3 hours later. Bad customer service, never again.

Food that was hot was nice as ever. All breads and sides were cold. Ordered at 16:15 arrived 18:55 well over an hour late. Hopefully next time this isn't the case.

Mixed grill wasn’t really a mixed grill. Only chicken and sheik, no lamb. Plus had burnt unsure what it was as they were added due to being late.

Wonderful to have you back! In my opinion, you definitely do the best mixed kebab in boro - I have tried quite a few. Those jalfrezis were spot on this week too, as was the rice tonight. Overall, my favourite Indian but thats probably no surprise to you. See you in the new year.xx

Don’t want to offer any stars but have to to post , food isn’t here to even rate, ordered food at 17:44 was originally told between 18:45 - 19:07 got a text saying delayed - would be delivered by 19:30 it’s now 19:50 almost 8pm! I rang and was told it would be here any minute…. It’s still not here. Really was looking forward to this new place to try.

Have been ordering here for a long time now, the food is always beautiful. Never had a problem and the staff are always polite :)

This was our first time of ordering from The Raj. Our last two Indian takeaways from other businesses had been great disappointments, but the food from here was absolutely superb. Very generous portions, tasty and spicy, packed with flavour and delivered piping hot. We would thoroughly recommend The Raj.

Thanks for all the lovely meals again. I am having a little break now so might not see you for a while. I will miss those kebabs though - best in boro. Take care.x

Took 2 hours 40 mins and was not worth the wait. Cost £30 quid and got refunded a measly £3 when complained. Chips and nan breads were cold and curries were not up to scratch will never order from these amateurs again

After a original delay of 40 minutes and it didn't arrive I called restaurant was told 10 minutes 30 minutes after it arrived 2 hours and 20 minutes after order was confirmed

Tikka masala very watery sauce , with onions and peppers , not that sweet creamy red curry I was expecting , tikka elements of food pretty good . Chicken Ceylon hot and bland with stale tasting chicken ( cheap, old ,or frozen dunno , but not a quality item . Rang to complain , said they would make me another curry if I went and got it, but didn't seem to understand my problem or want to agree it was a problem . Overall just go somewhere is

The tikka massala was extremely greasy and not edible. We had to share a small korma just so we could both eat as the tikka Massala was so runny
