Meinem Partner hat der Kaffe geschmeckt, mir leider nicht. Wir hatten ein anderes Brot zum Essen bestellt, aber es leider doch nicht bekommen. Auch der Preis rechtfertigt das Essen nicht. Da fehlt das gewisse etwas. Es schmeckt gut, aber ist kein Highlight. Generell ist das Café schön eingerichtet.

Popped in for a glass of wine in the evening and took up position on the sofa in the window. Perfect spot for whiling away the hours people watching. Saw their brunch menu and returned Sunday morning to sample it. Fabulous. Had the Shashuka on toast and a Croque Madame with coffees. Good good, served quickly and great service. They also have coffee beans for sale which you can grind there Will definitely be back.

I've had Turkish Eggs it was delightful such a nice cosy cafe in Leith Walk. I like the decor and the staff is very nice when you sit down they complementary table water so you don't have to ask for a tap water and my latte was really good with design ☕

Lovely little cafe, with friendly and helpful staff and a great selection of food. It was a perfect place to meet friends from Rome and the Netherlands. Our group ordered a wide variety of choices from the menu including the soup, Scottish breakfast, scrambled eggs and salmon, smoothies, waffles, carrot cake and tea - all delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the owl cushions very comfy. You could miss it walking by, but well worth searching it out and popping in. It extends a way back - a bit of a tardis for seating.

50 Brandon Terrace CanonmillsI was at the Tollhouse yesterday after a wedding and had been stressed out prior to someone letting me down in relation to the wedding. The staff at the Tollhouse were so attentive and their attention to detail was impressive, we never had an empty glass of water and we were treated as such VIPs. The food was amazing, incredible portion sizes and the presentation was fantastic. All in all, I’m so happy that we went there for food as we were all treated as people and not just money bags. Would definitely recommend going there for an important meal as they will make you feel as equally important.
