Becoming a regular for lunches when we walk in from Broadstairs, always get s seat quick with food and drink

Cheap drinks, fast service and a sea view. Lovely!

After a lovely walk along the seafront we had decided to call in here for lunch on Friday 3rd January. Unfortunately we arrived dead on lunch time about 1.00pm so we had to wait for a table to become available, no problem as the place is huge and not along wait. However once having found a table it needed clearing and cleaning. We waited and waited. We both chose The Ultimate Burger and I went up to the counter to relay our order and a very helpful red headed man took my order which included a bottle of wine. On returning to our table it still hadn’t been cleared probably some 10 minutes later, but as I say they were really busy. Eventually I got up and found a member of staff. Obviously didn’t want to be there, she cleared the table and we asked if it could also be wiped as a large lump of mayonnaise lay on the table but she chose not to do this. I then got up and went and found her, to again ask can she please clean our table, she definitely wasn’t happy but give her due she did come back and wipe our table clean with a face like a smacked bottom. (made to feel bad for asking) Our meal arrived and we really should have returned them, the burgers were cold and not cooked through. I looked around for a member of staff to complain to and to have the meals returned but no one was available and the bar was still really busy so put up with the very disappointing meal but left the restaurant feeling we had definitely wasted our money. The 2* rating and not a 1* is due to the pleasant gentleman behind the bar. I have been to this place several times before and have never had cause for complaint so hopefully this was a one off very disappointing experience.

Popped in whilst visiting family in Ramsgate. Lovely to see this old building still in use. Loved the features alongside the pictures reflecting on the building past. Good selection of ale. Standard Wetherspoons faye. Wrap and panini were both good.

It’s more expensive than an average Wetherspoons but it’s worth it for the surrounds. Summertime must be an incredible visit as they have a very nice roof terrace with lovely views.

A good place to have breakfast on Boxing Day. A view of the sea, a comfortable seat, and not too crowded. A good price too.

The staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring fast service even when the place was buzzing. The food? Classic Wetherspoons—reliable, decent, and exactly what you expect. It might not be worth traveling miles solely for this venue, but if you’re already in Ramsgate, it’s absolutely worth a visit. With its iconic setting and the usual affordable offerings, it’s a standout among the chain’s pubs. A solid option for a laid-back day or evening by the sea.

Many sea view windows are taken up by a single big group table.

A decent 'Spoons in a huge, stunning refurbished art deco pavilion with outdoor terrace overlooking the beach. The usual decent spread of cask and keg beers, lagers, wine and the rest at reasonable prices. Standard pub grub also served. Lovely outdoor balcony overlooking Ramsgate beach, though it gets busy in the Summer so you need to arrive early.

They advertised 12 different Christmas beers for 3.08 for a pint from November 13th to. December 31. However, on December 23, one was no longer available, even though it was widely advertised. This really disappoints me.

Considering how big this establishment is, the service, at the bar and the app, is very quick. Other than that, it's the usual Wetherspoons experience of great drink selections at good value prices

What a beautiful location this Wetherspoons is! What a beautiful view over the beach and the sea. We have been here several times and have eaten well.

This is an impressive building and makes a really impressive pub. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Usual 'Spoons drink range. Recent refurbishment had made only small changes to interior - extending the balcony to full loop. Exterior changes sound interesting but it was far too windy and cold to check them out!

Best Spoons to visit in the summertime as there is an open deck that us right on the beachfront. Inside is always too noisy.

Although the biggest in the country, the service, the food and drinks are, as always for 'Spoons, second to none. The service is always quick and the food hot and in these days very cost effective. I appreciate it is not Cordon Bleu cooking, but just what you expect, although I do miss the steaks which are not on the menu. The setting is beautiful, especially in the summer, but is a welcome step off when going for a seaside walk in the winter. Long may it reign over the Royal Harbour, Ramsgate.

Fab spoons! Impressive building and lovely views from the terrace and outdoor seating area at the rear. Can be a little busy in the summer but that is to be expected. Staff are friendly and efficient which is a bonus, food is typical of spoons- no frills but tasty enough.

What a fab Wetherspoons right on the beach - fantastic rooftop outdoor seating area great views of the coast line and harbour - some great ales on and as good choice of many other drinks - had the fish as s chips nice meal and great value too

Good JDW good food selection and fast service

An absolutely amazing place. The building is fabulous. The service was good and the food was also excellent. Why only 4 stars? Even though it wasn't all that busy the team didn't clear things away. Also there were bins and plates in sight, which wasn't great. I have been to some much busier Wethersoons where plates and glasses were cleared more quickly.

How do they do it?! There's usually something not to like about a place but Wetherspoons seem to have ticked all the good boxes here. The Royal Victoria Pavilion is a great venue, much of it overlooking the sea in a great location. Unlike so many Victorian seaside buildings this one has been renovated and kept in lovely condition both inside and out. It's clean and well staffed. How do they do it for the price? I had a very nice pint of Ruddles County, just £1.79, yes £1.79! This would be £4.50 to £5.00 anywhere else. My wife had a very reasonably priced soft drink, and then we ordered food. She had a small cod and chips, I had the house burger and chips. Not massive portions but plenty big enough for a decent lunch and freshly cooked. Ordered at the bar, I had barely got back to the table when it was waitress served. All very good and tasty. Even the condiments were all Heinz or Sarsons, not the cheap and nasty stuff served up in some places. All drinks and food came to a total of a little over £18.00 including everything. Quite amazing value! It's not Michelin star stuff but very hard to fault. Will definitely be back.

I only got one of the 2 portions of halloumi Fry's I ordered, children everywhere one of them stared weirdly at me, the server laughed at me for ordering a glass of milk off the kids menu

Breakfast advertised on your web site for 1200 but orders end abruptly at 1130. So a wasted 20 mile journey for me and my wife. Thanks P.s. and the atmosphere outside,.once it gets busy, is one loud scraping chair after another.

We only had drinks here, which were very reasonable. The place is massive as it's the biggest weatherspoons in the country and on two levels.

Popped in for some food yesterday lunchtime not too busy ordered from the app my food came some time before my beer but over all a nice Spoons in a historic building.

Always good food and drink and the views of harbour are amazing from the balcony.

We live locally and have taken to enjoying our seaside walks to/ from RVP at the weekends. This JD Weatherspoon is beautifully located on the beach, close to the harbour and town. Not only is the building beautiful but the staff are always polite and welcoming, Christina behind the bar especially. We have only had cooked breakfasts here, but it is served quickly , piping hot and always excellent value. The seating is comfortable with lovely views on offer from terrace, upper or even ground floor. Great place for solo, couples or families. Arguably the best Weatherspoons in Kent, it has it all!

Fabulous sea view from every angle! Great place for families and meet-ups with no pressure or stress. Very friendly and helpful staff, who appeared to be customer- focused, which is the whole idea - no customers, means no job for them! Totally enjoyed the fish and chip lunch. Thank you Wetherspoons.

A spoons is a spoons...food is decent enough, cheap and piping hot and everything is served quickly when ordered through the app.

Great beer selection at unbeatable prices, I can use my CAMRA vouchers too. Food is always good. Summers on the outside terrace are marvellous..

Came in today and this man, I overheard his name was Brandon stobe or something was saying to his friend that he put a pube on a random plate that was on the bar. I was utterly disgusted

Best spoons...fab outside terrace with views out to sea and the working Royal harbour. Cheap as chips grub and GnTs😍. Staff exceptionally good too....they now serve Leffe 😊

Amazing large location, with simple food

Previously rated here a 3, but revised recently and things have improved. The breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked, the tables had been cleaned and wiped down so went sticky as they were on my last visit. And the staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely improved.

We visited Ramsgate and stuck for lunch, i've not been in a Witherspoon for years, we had a lovely lunch, it's huge inside and an historic building has been saved, ticked all the boxes, loved the gents WC upstairs, staff were charming, 💯 worth a visit 😀

We had coffee on the the terrace outside. It was cheap, with unlimited refills to boot. You have to order on your phone via a QR code, but it's easy to navigate the menu. The service was very fast, despite it being a busy afternoon. The terrace itself is beautiful, with lots of nice planters and, of course, the Seaview.

Popped in for a quick lager. The first time there, it is massive and beautiful inside. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was so chilled out . We sat outside on the balcony area and just enjoyed the view.

The biggest Wetherspoons in the United Kingdom! The view from the terrace is absolutely amazing and we were super happy to find a table outside. There’s plenty of seating and all with tables, so you can order food and drinks. Staff work hard and are friendly, lots of young staff with a great work attitude too. Tables could do with a regular clean as ours was covered in ketchup from the previous users and the waitress didn’t care to clean it but she was very busy. We have had better Wetherspoons food but it is hard to complain given the price and speed of service. Come for the views and drinks, maybe skip the food.

Largest Wetherspoons in the country, apparently, so you know exactly what you’re getting - plus it’s right on the beach. On a sunny day it would be some people’s definition of an ideal holiday. Even at 3pm on a Saturday it was getting quite raucous and the dividing line between public beach space and pub was a bit ambiguous.

Our party of 4 opted for fish n chips. We found this pub doesn't seem to stock the full range of menu or just runs out. I ordered baked beans, but pease arrived! After some time, I got my beans cold, and my companions had nearly finished their dinners. So, it's not great, in fact, pretty disappointing 😕.

We had breakfast here twice while visiting Ramsgate, I was pretty amazed after the 1st time my husband was pleased when I said I'd go again, the staff were brilliant better than some 5☆ places, the place is very clean, breakfast was good for the price with as many hot drinks you can drink and the views across the sea fabulous 👌

Breakfast was Luke warm as usual, eggs were like hockey pucks , first time there for a year for same reason but nothings changed there are much better places to go especially if you want a hot breakfast

Being the biggest weatherspoons it's something great to behold. Lovely location on the seafront. So much room, you never have to be on top of the other tables. Ordering via the app from the table is so easy and amazingly fast, highly recommended. It's a little tired in places with ripped furniture at times and some spots that need electrics addressing and painting done but overall it's a decent site compared to some, given it's size.

Me and my dad came here for an evening out and ordered the chicken jalffrezi but it wasn’t cooked and we got food poisoning. It all arrived just off warm and no flavour
