Popped in for a coffee and sandwich. Lovely coffee and a great sandwich. Great selection of sandwiches and salads etc. Reasonably priced. Seating inside and out.

I work close by and thought I would try this new place for a take away lunch. Well I've been back 5 times now and it's only been open 2 weeks! I have tried a baked potato with beans and salad, very nice. A Ham salad box which was great too, love that you get more than just lettuce tomatoes and cucumber, there was celery, beetroot, carrot, olives, sweetcorn to name a few and you just tell them if there is an item you don't want in it. Then my favourite so far was the Chicken & tomato hot pasta box! the tomato sauce was just so so tasty, big chunks of chicken and you can have it with or without salad. The bakewell slice and blueberry muffins were to die for too. Couldn't get over the prices for what you get, it's cheaper, and tastier than taking something from home for lunch. I'll be trying the panini's next week!

My wife and I visited after seeing a sign scribbled on a chalk board during the day. It's an innovative little pop-up based in the vaults under Scarborough Market Hall, where there are craft and vintage shops by day. Manned by owner Paul who is very knowledgeable and chatty, we were treated to some superbly kept wines in a quietly informal atmosphere. It's a far cry from the hoi-polloi and bustle of Scarborough drinking holes, and one which must be prized. Top work, we'll be back.

Another outstanding meal, and overnight stay at the Farrier. Friendly personal service, perfectly presented very tasty food, and a great wine selection. It really feels like the family-run business that it is, the staff are all friendly and personable and really make you feel welcome. The menu is imaginative, and not over-large, and the food of great quality. The rooms are really luxurious, and the breakfast is excellent.
