The Siren's Calling in North Somerset

No ratings for food as they don't offer it but they have a great selection of bar snacks and pickled eggs. They also allow you to bring in fish and chips from next door

Kind and welcoming with great beer selection

Website said it would be open at 1400, I got there at 1430 and was still all closed up. They need to update website/google.

The atmosphere and the staff were so warm and welcoming. Lovely location and even the door men were friendly.

Great sitting outside in the sun. Great variety of beers.

Great place for a beer with lots of choices

Always a great selection of beers - it's a nice stop off (start and end as well) point for a wander about Portishead Marina. Lots of live music on.

Best pub in town (and beyond). Andy and the team always give a friendly welcome. The ever-changing beer menu is outstanding. Excellent view, dog-friendly and big supporters of live music too. Quick caveat: I’ve given 5 stars for food. Sirens don’t do food, so I’ve counted beer as food.

We are out of town visitors. Brilliant pub, made very welcome by the locals they encouraged me to join them dancing and treated me like a friend. We purposely went to the Siren to watch the live Duo 'OUTATIME' who were brilliant as always. Great pub, great selection of ciders.

Great beer, lager and cider selection, fantastic Belgian beers. Nice outside area and a lovely place to sit whilst it's chucking it down. They don't serve food but it's wonderful to be able to bring in the fish and chips from next door. I love it that they allow dogs. Music on weekends sometimes hit and miss but always a laugh, and we love the Octoberfest event and Christmas mulled wine etc!

wonderful ambience, view outside of the Marina, wonderful range of Artisan Beers and Ciders, really friendly staff, cozy inside..no food, but you can bring in purchases from next doors posh chippy.

Great pub here with friendly stuff, thank you Tasha, Rupert and Sophie, Harvey and Ewan. The “HOME FROM HOLME” is a grrrreeeeat bitter, honestly I wish all bitter ales were like it. Very hoppy! The “Small World Beers” brewery did a fantastic job. This pub also hosts live events. It’s definitely a 5 from me.

Groovy laid back and nasty, kind of pub Mark Stewart would spend an afternoon in god rest his soul.

Very friendly staff, they let us have a little tester of a couple of largers before we order as we weren't sure which one we'd prefer. Definitely recommend

I’m very happy to have the Siren’s Calling as my local pub in Portishead. They offer a great selection of bottled continental beers along with locally sourced beers on draught. There is also live music most Saturdays and beer festivals throughout the year as well.

We had a great night here on 29th April. Great atmosphere reasonably priced drinks. The entertainment was 'Outatime' 80's/90's music fantastic night

Friendly staff happy to chat about which drink to try. Lots of lovely types of beer. Atmosphere a bit like an airport pub though due to the square, featureless room.

The best pub with the best atmosphere, best cider and best pickled eggs. What more could you want!

Fantastic pub right on the quayside. Huge range of Ales, lagers and spirits. Bands play on most Saturday nights and it has a fantastic atmosphere and lovely staff. We'll recommended

Lovely pub in Portishead. Great selection of ciders as well. They don't serve food, but do have bar snacks. Though they seem ok with ordering fish and chips from the shop next door and eating them there whilst having a pint. It's always a stop when I'm in Portishead, especially for the cider drinkers.

What a let down for Oktoberfest... By 7:30 on Saturday night (the event is running until Monday) all the draught German beer had gone.... unbelievable!!! Then the music (although good) it was just covers... Atmosphere was still good but what a shame ..we were all disappointed in the lack of authenticity of a German beer festival. 😒

Nice beer place inside the Portishead Marina. couple of craft brews but nothing too fancy. Good place to have a drink or two.

At last, some real ale in Portishead. Ossett brewery, White Rat, is highly recommended. And, should Ossett Brewery Silver King be stocked- go for it, it is even better. The ABK lager, at £4.50 a pint is a constant- & great taste.

Quick beer after work. Happened to be a singer there, was fairly busy and had alot of German Dutch beers on draft + bottle, good to have live singer although not my taste on that night.

I love visiting Sirens Calling, I've performed here a few times for their live music nights, and I just love coming back to see everyone, so friendly and a lovely atmosphere.

Good selection of beers, cider and lager on tap. Interior made to look like traditional pub, slightly restrained due to building (modern apartment block). Dogs allowed inside, not for me. Sits alongside a fish and chip restaurant and Costa coffee.

Great little waterside pub. Excellent decor with a real maritime feel. Proper beer on tap available here and pickled eggs a plenty. I highly recommend to all salty seadogs and land lubbers alike

Great pub, unusual location with big windows looking out on the marina. Friendly local with very good staff who have managed to keep things going through great service. The choice of good local beer and cider changes often so there is always something interesting to try. Good gin selection too. We had a great time at their New Year party; live music, dancing and fun had by all. It's our main local and we love it.

Cosy little spot to catch up with friends. Nice space and friendly, attentive table service. Felt a little ushered out at the end of the evening but think this is more down to Covid restrictions than impoliteness. Good selection of ales, so something to suit everyone.

My favourite pub, serving a fabulous selection of real ales, local ciders, wines, gins and everything else. Great atmosphere with very friendly staff and friendly locals, in a beautiful location on the marina. Andy, the owner, kept up a great delivery and takeaway service during the lockdown, and has now re-opened with sensible Covid-19 precautions, that make you feel safe without spoiling the enjoyment.

One of the best pubs in Portishead right on Marina. It’s a free house serves a good choice of good real ales and a variety of bottled beers. Very friendly staff who has worked hard to make the pub safe and welcoming. All COVID-19 pub rules apply.
