Visited on the first weekend of re-opening. Can't compare with before as had never visited before. Good to see the obvious locals' labour of love to save and re-open their pub. Very friendly ambience from staff and customers alike. I was disappointed no real cask ale being sold but the Guinness was in excellent form. Let's hope cask ale can make a comeback - get those handpumps installed!

The only disappointment was that there was 1 stake left only! My son got that one. But Hannah, who is the lady which attended our table was really helpful and accommodating. She offered other options like the beef stue which, to all of our surprise, was really good. Hannah was really helpful with the children, 4 of them of various ages. Thank you Hannah!

23-25 Pelton RoadAmazing place, loving coming here for the pizza and the vibes! The service is always at its finest and we have the best time always! You should try their Nutella calzone, it is to die for😍 the girls Kerrie and Lulu were so lovely helping to surprise my friend, amazing staff really, doing a great job, we will always come back!
