The Teahouse in Mansfield

Me and my family enjoyed our visit today for my 30th birthday! The food was fantastic and anybody wanting to visit you will not be disappointed! They went above and beyond! We have been here a fair few times now and it has been wonderful every time.

My first time here today. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had! Very well priced, very friendly staff and great atmosphere. We will definitely be returning, thank you.

What an absolute gem of a tea room. Perfect combination of quintessential old English Tea room and amazing food. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere in a lovely setting. Great choice of food with efficient and friendly service. If you’re in the area, seek out The Teahouse, you won’t be disappointed.

The food I had today was lovely and the customer service was great and very friendly. Joanne my server was very friendly and committed to great customer service. I would definitely visit again.

Wonderful but very welcoming and cosy,food and all staff made you feel welcome, along with good quality food.food not consumed was box to take home.

Five of us had afternoon tea at The Teahouse today. The staff are dedicated to making the experience memorable. They obviously enjoy providing great service and take pride in their attention to detail. We all enjoyed the food which was plentiful. Before leaving, any cakes etc which were left over were carefully boxed for each of us to take home!

Just love the Tea house at Carbank And Its got a lovely park.

Just sat in there for 45 minutes with menus waiting to be served only for two other parties (who were also walk ins) who came in after us to be served before us. Definitely won't be coming back again.

A beautiful little café. We pre booked an afternoon tea through Facebook messenger after searching for a tea room, and it certainly impressed. We were asked to pick from a selection of cakes and sandwiches, and they all tasted absolutely delicious. The scone, cream and jam was pure heaven in my mouth. You get a pot of tea, but my friend oped for a diet coke which was swapped as an alternative which was nice to not charge for that and welcome swaps. The staff were super friendly and lovely there. The prices were amazing too having a little nosy through. I would definitely recommend.

A hidden gem, really lovely place. Ordered an earl grey and tuna melt panini. Absolutely spot on, had same thing in a number of tea houses in Yorkshire and Derbyshire, but this one tops all so far- and it didn't break the bank! Staff were lovely, food was lovely, drinks were lovely- and afterwards, a small walk around the park.

Lovely little tea room, wide and varied menu, good quality food, and delicious coffee. Service was spot on although was busy so I would imagine slightly longer then normal.

Lovely cottage style place ,had a baby shower here for my daughter in law what a delightful place food good atmosphere great and staff really helpful couldn’t do enough looking forward to going back for breakfast Really enjoyed

I booked a table for 7 of us for afternoon tea on a Saturday, including a disabled friend who needed wheelchair access. I booked in advance and staff were really accommodating and made sure my friend had plenty of access to the table which they had moved, to make it easier for him. They advised where best to park, for him to easily get in and out of the vehicle. Staff were friendly and polite. It was a busy afternoon but we were served quickly and offered extra drinks throughout our stay. I was also messaged afterward by the owner to make sure we were well looked after and my friend had been able to enjoy himself. I would highly recommend this place.

A lovely spot for the hidden tearoom, but worth shouting about! Squeezed us in although they were very busy and most tables were taken for the afternoon. So we knew it would be good. The service was excellent and the food fabulous. If you haven’t been it’s worth a trip, but make sure you call before you to secure your table, several people were coming in but turned away while we were there. Some opted for the outdoor space, especially those with dogs, but it was chilly while we were there. Based with a beautiful park on its doorstep you could spend a lovely morning or afternoon in the park with a full breakfast ( it was yummy) or afternoon tea which is also on the menu.

A lovely hidden treasure of a tearoom in a beautiful location. A fantastic range of vegetarian options, amazing menu choice and delicious coffee and cake. The staff are so warm and welcoming. Great customer service in a tranquil setting. Free parking and good facilities on site. Dog friendly, with dog treats and dog ice cream. Highly recommend a visit and a walk on the grounds nearby. Please support this amazing business. The food is mouth watering

Came for afternoon tea to celebrate my mums birthday. Lovely from start to finish. I rang up an reserved a table for 4. The table was laid out ready and our drinks order was taken as soon as we were seated. Drinks arrived shortly followed our afternoon tea platters. Polite pleasant staff who couldn't be more helpful. Would highly recommend

Excellent service. Myself and my daughter went for afternoon tea as a treat before her first baby arrives. The team gave excellent service and the food was wonderful. Sandwiches were tasty and fresh. I loved the earl grey and blackcurrant sponge and my daughter loved the toffee sponge cake. Scones were so light and tasty and all in a wonderful setting. Will definitely be visiting again.

Had a lovely afternoon tea at the Teahouse in CarrBank Park with friends. Service was friendly and helpful . Food lovely and tasty, Good portion sizes and prices reasonable.

We booked exclusive hire for my sister’s baby shower. The venue is beautiful, a lovely setting next to Carr Bank Park, and a very vintage feel to it. Staff were lovely and allowed us to bring our balloons the day before, nothing was too much trouble - they even took photos for us. The food was delicious. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon.

My ex work colleagues and I went here to celebrate the life of a friend very dear to us all who passed last year to the day We had booked this venue as it was a favourite of our late work colleague. When we arrived we were immediately informed that we could only stay about an hour as the table was booked again …… This understandably was upsetting for us as we felt under pressure to order ,eat and vacate the table leaving us little time to remember our friend and reminisce We will not be returning as this spoilt a very special occasion …..

Lovely food and great gluten free choices too. It was first time for my husband he was really impressed. The staff were really friendly too.

Popped to the Teahouse for the first time today, for breakfast with my husband and daughter. The tearoom is quaint and homely in what used to be a former stable block, with friendly service and good traditional food. The tearoom is dog friendly with indoor and outdoor seating and is on the edge of Carbank park which is nice for a walk. Would recommend!

Overall a very nice breakfast was a bit of a wait for our food about 40-50mins after ordering. In a nice locations perfect for a sunny day.

Discovered this little gem whilst staying in Mansfield. Staff were really friendly & professional, nothing too much trouble. Will be recommending to people visiting Mansfield. The backdrop is a beautiful park which is spotless.

Visited The Teahouse over the weekend and was thoroughly disappointed! I had been prior and always had a pleasant enough experience (apart from one time when the manager had told my stepdaughter to stop messing with the sugar on the table, though I obviously didn't see that as such an issue) On this occasion, I had pre-booked for afternoon tea and I was really looking forward to it as it was a treat on the day of my baby shower. From the beginning the tables weren't set up for the correct amount I had booked for. It was then rearranged and my mum ended up having to sit further away from us all which made me feel bad as it made me feel as though she was a bit secluded. Once the afternoon tea came out, albeit a few minutes or so, my friend had noticed that there was mould on one of the cream cheese sandwiches. This was disputed by the manager with no apology, just an assurance that it wasnt mould, when in fact most of us had looked at the sandwich before mentioning it to the manager, and we also have worked in the food industry ourselves! This instantly put me off as I had already eaten one of these sandwiches, which I didn't even think to look at, but had thought prior to my friend noticing, that it didn't taste right. It also worried me due to being pregnant! Upon then looking at the other sandwiches they were dry and were certainly not "freshly made this morning" as the manager kept insisting. I am not one for confrontation, or for complaining, though had my friend not mentioned anything regarding any discount, we would not have received one. We didn't even receive an apology for that matter. I paid a £50 deposit for this afternoon tea, and it was £15.95 per person. I felt thoroughly embarrassed taking my friends there after this incident and I will not be returning! I would also like to mention that my stepdaughter actually threw up later on that day. Which also made me feel very guilty. I wish I'd have taken things further regarding the incident as I cannot describe my disappointment and embarrassment.

First time I've been here for an Afternoon Tea and wasn't disappointed, good value for money and one of the best I've had. Staff like attention to detail and wait on you, giving everybody individual attention. Lovely clean place can highly recommend.

Wow! Visited today for the first time and this little place exceeded everything. Not only was it the most delicious coffee I’ve ever had (!!) the food was also delicious. Staff were SO friendly and nothing was too much trouble especially as we had two prams. Will 10000% be back, especially for the coffee!! So reasonably priced too. 100/10.

Visited The Teahouse today for an afternoon tea for 2 with my mum. We’d never visited before but will definitely be coming again many more times and with other family members in tow. Staff are friendly and attentive, the cafe is clean, well set out and nicely decorated, and the food was fresh and plentiful and the tea nice and hot. We didn’t manage to eat it all because we were so full, but we were given a box to bring our cream and scones home for later. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Incredible service, topped up our tea and the child’s setting was a lovely gesture. lovely ‘special afternoon tea’ with a large selection. We were a group of 3 adults and 1 child and we really enjoyed every moment. Super friendly staff and amazing price point. Would definitely recommend!!! 💕

It's little and normally quite busy. Food is lovely and well-priced; coffee is great. The staff are lovely.

Made a booking to these tea rooms based on the reviews,arrived and was shown to our table first thing I noticed was how dirty the table was it had tea stains all over it, we placed our order within 5 minutes our hot drinks arrived which was good then another 35 minutes my full English arrived by this time my pot of tea was cold, the quality of the food was shocking,the sausage was burnt the eggs and beans were cold won't be returning

Amazing little place, tucked away. Very cosy and friendly atmosphere. The staff went out of their way, and made some extra bacon and sausage for the puppy 🐶

Been a few times to this wonderful tea room our dogs love it and we do to .Staff are brilliant and make you feel welcome even when rushed of their feet . Food is top quality and very impressive for a small kitchen 5🌟.The coffee is absolutely top notch they really know how to make quality coffee so smooth and the cappuccino is the best I've had perfect combination of two shots of espresso and silky smooth milk on top you can tell it's made by people who love coffee I'd recommend anyone to go and you won't be disappointed we will definitely be back it's just a great place

First time visiting this gem of a place . Nice and Cosy friendly . The staff were pleasant and made to feel welcome. The food was lovely, we went for a birthday breakfast for the wife with the kids and we really enjoyed it. Will be definitely returning and recommending to family and friends.

Issue with time management, do not tell someone 5-10 minutes for a takeaway and it takes 25! Put us in a bad mood for the afternoon.

Lovely little tea room. There was a large group in when we went, but staff managed to fit us in with no booking. Great tasting food. and good quality coffee. It is a small venue so can feel quite Claustrophic if busy, and I couldn't get past the large group to go to the toilet. Nice outdoor seating though. Good Value

First time there and it was lovely friendly staff + lovely food . Sad to say, but now, 4 years later, the food was very poor , the worst quiche I've ever had. How do you get a burned quiche with soggy pastry? I'm not sure, but the chef there managed it will not go there again anytime soon
