A very accommodating pub with a lovely lady behind the bar allowing our family to bring fish and chips in to the pub and have a few drinks. Lovely place with a great atmosphere.

Always a good place for a pint at lunch. Local prices and good music keeps this place going..choice of burgers and chips or kabab in the evening.

One of my favourite pubs just a shame it’s a 45 minute drive or I would go there more often.

Lovely pub. Beers good, atmospheres great and staff super friendly. Can imagine it bouncing on a Friday or Saturday with a band on.

Four of us and our dog stopped on a Sunday afternoon. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Beer very well kept. Food via Punk Burger pop-up out back which was excellent and eaten in pub. This was followed by a game of darts. Excellent live band in the garden. Nice big garden with plenty of tables and umbrellas. What more do you want on a Sunday afternoon? Great pub!

Proper pub in a somewhat twee and genteel small town. Lively, beer garden has the aun all afternoon, great selection of drinks. Staff and clientele friendly, such a pity we live so far away and only get to visit a couple of times a year.

Old school pub nice and friendly staff

Visited on a Saturday afternoon/evening when the pop up punk burger van was outside and had a terrific burger. As for the pub, great atmosphere and sunny courtyard with a good selection of ales that are very well kept. Don't be put off by it's appearance - someone here has a sense of humor. Would love to see the place when they have a band on but not yet had the chance. It's the only live music venue for miles around.

A typical pub was great to it, so busy on a Saturday afternoon. Was nice sit outside bit dark and sticky on the foot inside. Sold a good selection of drinks at a good price. Car park right next to it, but you do have to pay, around £2.50 for 3 hrs

Excellent, friendly atmosphere and well-kept beer and cider. Often has live music.

Partner and I popped in last night and decided to go elsewhere before ordering, as we left the bar lady made a sarcastic comment out loud to us. Very rude and unwelcoming staff. Glad we decided to not stay for a drink with attitude like that. Would avoid this pub in the future. Visited the dandy lion afterwards which was much better.

Brilliant vibes here in this vibrant pub! The staff were friendly and the beer selection was great. Nice to have a Red Stripe on tap! There’s a spacious and quirky outdoor space and the music was spot on. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

If you want great drinks, a good old fashioned pub and live music this is 100% the place. If you want fancy food and twee decor - avoid! I love the place, as its refreshing to find somewhere that is so dedicated to keeping live music alive and well. Right next to the station too, to great for the train. There is a municipal car park, but it can be hard to locate a space at times (so take the train).

Best pub in Bradford!! Actually got a vibe instead of the standard average Bradford pub nonsense! Live music Friday - Sunday Good selection of ales Burgers available Thursday - Saturday, they are proper good!

Great little pub in the centre of Bradford on Avon. Good selection of Largers, Ales and ciders. Card payments welcome and reasonable wheelchair accessible. Pool table and jukebox also there. Staff are friendly and welcoming

Pub with lots of character and characters, had a fun night and the bloke selling burgers from the carpark did a cracking job too.

This pub is ace. It's a proper pub with real people and really interesting live music. If you like corporate pub chains you should avoid....it'll freak you out

Great local pub with pool, darts, pool and a jukebox. Extremely good prices and don't be fooled by the eclectic mix of locals and bar staff. The welcome is always warm providing a good night. Live bands in certain days.

Had a drink with some mountain bike friends . friendly and warm pub. Also the only pub that took cash the ones we went to on the canal were card only .( Very disappointing.)

Nice place to stop for a beer. Wasn't very busy being a Friday (23/09)lunchtime, maybe half a dozen locals in. I was welcomed with a cheery hello and enjoyed an excellent pint of Exmoor Gold for just £3.90. Support your local pubs.

The atmosphere is very homely, and the staff makes the place very inviting. Enjoyed every Neck Oil IPA I had whilst having a laugh with my mates. The pub is right next to the Bradford Station too, so if you’re wanting a pint, and just got off the train, I recommend here!

Great atmosphere and good service

Extremely rude staff, watered down beer, what a dive. Went there at the weekend, it was busy but the staff behind the bar couldn’t cope (there were plenty of them, they were just not organised). I counted three separate groups of people that were either shouted at or generally been rude too, then i got my chance to be had. When i finally got my beer which honestly felt like i was an inconvenience to them, I got some watered down rubbish; what a waste of hard earned money. Oh and I noticed someone else got shouted at for not paying cash (and told they couldn’t pay bu card even though I managed to pay with card myself) so someone is not paying taxes!

What a great pub!!. I stumbled apon this pub while holidaying from Australia. The staff and locals are super friendly, there's a great selection of beers/ciders and they had great bands on the weekend. I would highly recommend this pub for a quick half or staying and have a few into the evening.

A traditional pub, close to the centre of Bradford on Avon, and train station(and car park) The landlord is an easy going chap, as are the rest of the staff, the feeling of which can be felt right through the premises. Large garden, which I'm pretty sure has disabled

Walked from Bath to this town along canal and all pubs where either closed or sterile went to train station and discovered this gem of a pub. Great atmosphere, music, crowd, beer. Worth a return stopoff if in area.

A great pub with a quirky decor and fantastic atmosphere. A really decent selection of alcohol and very reasonably priced. Often offers live music on weekends and which ranges VERY diversly. Would highly recommend.

This is like the pub that time forgot; it looks like it hasn't been redecorated since the late seventies. It's got plenty of dark corners and has a real dingy feel to it. I loved it. No, really!
