The Tiltyard Kenilworth Carvery 981798699 We came for a Sunday carvery and noticed they were very busy. After half an hour there was little sign of any service so we decided to leave. As we made our way to the car park someone from the pub followed us out and insinuated that we left without paying for drinks. Luckily I had payed on my IPhone so I had the time and the payment on my phone. After this he calmed down and apologised and said that the volume of business on the day Kenilworth Carvery 981798699

We pre booked for a Sunday carvery and after waiting for 30 minutes after our slot and asking staff twice when we would be able to go to be served decided to leave. The service was non existent and the lack of care by the staff was poor. My partner had paid for a round of drinks while we were waiting and a member of staff ran up to our car challenging us as to whether we had paid for them ! Shame they couldn’t get us served with food at the same speed as accusing us of non payment for drinks. Definitely a place to avoid 😡

Great pub great food and great prices will definitely be back

Family meal with four different dishes ordered. All distinctly all frozen food heated in the oven with chips and frozen veg on everything. Odour of bogs pervade. Desserts underwhelming. Staff nice and friendly redeems it to some extent.

I visited with a friend and had lunch both had a burger which was really nice and the service was excellent, I will be back.

This is a great pub with a huge garden and facilities outside for children. The staff are great and welcoming. A real hidden gem in Kenilworth. They also have awesome bands like Third Alert playing there too.

We had afternoon tea with our local stroke group at this establishment. It was shocking. Tea poured from a industrial teapot, cakes from boxes bought in supermarkets, triangular sandwiches. No idea whatsoever. We were so hot with no windows open. So pleased to leave.

If you are intending to eat at this establishment for Sunday lunch, be very careful of your timing. It is supposedly open from 12-3pm but in reality they are more interested in feeding themselves after 2:50 you will be told, “We’re closed”!

It's a pub opposite my old school so popped in for a beer, it's an ok modern pub nothing exciting.

We visited for lunch with friends. The menu is largely pub grub, but plenty of options are served without chips! .. and they offer a range of real pies, with pastry bottoms and not just lids. Very welcome. However my salmon was both tiny and rather dry but it did come with a generous quantity of butter sauce Service was efficient and quite effective

Good atmosphere, attentive service and well presented tasty food

Went for lunch. Got 1 of the 3 meals wrong. Was standard pub food, nothing special. Only 2 groups of us in there during half term at lunch and 2 guys outside drinking. Great history and it's detailed on posters around the pub. Not somewhere I would travel too again, but would consider it if passing.

Visited last Sunday for lunch .Food good and vegetables.I would like the food to be a lot hotter .The meat and veg were cold.A pity because all staff very helpfull even did me aGF Yorkshire pud thank you.

We had a really good breakfast on Saturday and decided to go for Sunday lunch, which was OK, but could have done with being a bit warmer. Food seemed to get cold quite quickly 🤔

This has got to be one of the finest pubs and eateries in Kenilworth. You are always greeted with a warm welcome from friendly efficient staff. There is a great selection of beer on offer from a very well kept cellar. The menu is varied offering a choice from light snacks to more wholesome traditional home cooked produce. On this occasion I opted for a liquid starter in the form of a couple of pints of Bank’s best bitter that was well received. The house wines are of good quality and below the normal Kenilworth prices which is a real bonus. My food arrived in a timely manner and the Landlady, who served me, made sure I had all the accompaniments. Not only did my meal look appealing, and was perfectly presented, but the portion size was impressive. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection. The peppercorn sauce was delicious, creamy with an abundance of crunchy peppercorns that complemented the meat. Ample chips, mushrooms, grilled tomato and garden peas fought for a place on the plate. After an interlude and a couple more glasses of house red I indulged in the syrup sponge pudding. This was immersed in a generous pool of custard that was delicious! All in all a great dining experience offered at a real value for money price. Well done to a first class front of house team and to those behind the scenes providing delicious food and great beer. Already planning my next visit.

This pub was a real treat! Service was really polite, the food was next level and you could tell it was made with a lot of thought and care. I'm not from the area but I will be back on a year for an event and will certainly be planning a trip to this pub once again. Highly recommended. I got lucky with a table and the staff very kindly slotted me in. I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment as it was quite busy

The Breakfast here is wonderful. It’s great value, beautifully cooked and very tasty. It includes everything you would expect in a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend it .

Great food, lovely and welcoming staff and an all-round pleasant experience. The Tiltyard is dog-friendly, our little terriers were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, even though I am an awkward vegan! We popped in for Sunday lunch after a recommendation and it will now be our go-to. Highly recommended!

Had a great Sunday lunch. Food was fresh and staff were really nice. 👌 really good atmosphere. Everyone needs to try the stuffing with apricot, it was lovely.

Just had the carvery here with my mum and it was delicious. We would both recommend it. The meat was all melt in the mouth and a great selection of nicely cooked vegetables, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings etc. We were given a warm welcome and were well looked after by all. The ladies took our drinks to the table to help as mum used a stick, and also took mums plate of food over to the table too. Lovely and cosy and warm too

A large group of us went for a drink after our exercise class. It was busy and quite a few people were eating. Friendly, laid-back atmosphere.

Went to the Tiltyard for Curry Night Tuesday, 2 Curry for £16. What a bargain. Fabulous Food & great beer. Well done Amanda, Dave & Team always so welcoming and accommodating. Will definitely be back for Curry Tuesday.

Having booked a table for 8 we were straight in seated and orders done within 10 min. Very high standard of carvery for pub lunch and food was spot on, service with a smile and priced just about right. We’ll be back for sure.

We recently visited the Tityard pub and were really impressed with how accomodating the manager and staff were.All very friendly and went out of their way to help us.

Visited this lovely place again today. It always feels like you where invited into their home for lunch. Tried the carvery for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The parsnips have to be the best I have ever Tasted. The veg and meat was cooked to perfection. I have an allergy to pork and this did not bother them one bit. After re washing all knives and utensils the chef invited me to be served first to make sure I was ok. This was above and beyond. I cannot sing their praises enough. I recommend booking in advance. It is very popular. The service is very welcoming and the decor is clean and pleasant. The general ambiance is wonderful and warm. 5 stars

We had an amazing evening and the staff catered for almost 60 of us for an 18th birthday surprise, we were attending a showjumping event locally for a few days and wanted to make sure the birthday girl had a lovely evening to remember. The effort made was really appreciated and it’s a lovely pub, I’ll definitely be back next year when we visit the area again! Highly recommended and a huge thank you to all the staff!!

A pleasant local pub with occasionally live entertainment, where you can eat and enjoy the beer garden.

Slightly awkward seating arrangement for seeing a band, leaving little room for standing near the front. Came back for breakfast the next day - veggie breakfast just skips the meat and adds extra egg, hash brown and tomatoes, but it was all tasty

We had lunch today at Tiltyard. Food was excellent, even children emptied their plates. Great service too! The staff is friendly, attentive and caring. We had a very good time! Thank you Tiltyard!

We got 6 takeaway Sunday dinners today and they were absolutely fantastic!! We got huge portions of food that were still lovely and hot by the time we got them to where we were going, we’re not local but if we were we’d be back every week! Next time we’re visiting we’ll be ordering again!

We had a takeaway Sunday roast from the Tiltyard for a family celebration and it was served fresh to us, as we chose to collect it. The food was excellent. Very large portions and very tasty. A lot of variety on the plate. The staff were courteous and efficient. Would definitely use them again.

Popped in here last night with my wife and my mother-in-law and my very patient and loyal guide dog. The food we had was excellent. My wife had the chicken burger, I had the hunters chicken and my mother-in-law had the rump steak. All meals were brilliant and delicious could not fault any of the food at all.Don’t even get me started on the syrup and custard pudding Yum Yum Yum. We also like the fact that the table was nice and clean and the lady that served us was very polite and welcoming. Would highly recommend this place for food and would definitely go back.

Well poured guinness at a reasonable price, really friendly staff and welcomes dogs. Was a shame about the 12 year old racing a mobility scooter around the beer garden.

Ordered x 2 Pepsi max on draught, they were beyond flat. When I asked if they could be changed, they were but were again flat. I went back to the bar maid and showed her, to which she responds ‘that’s weird because I’ve just been drinking this and it’s fine’ pointing to a half used bottle of Diet Coke. Firstly, I didn’t order Diet Coke, I ordered draught Pepsi max and how disgusting that you had been drinking from the bottle. It must have been used a lot of times since it was as flat as water. Anyway at this point I said I’d take cans instead. Obviously these would have been cheaper, however when I asked about this she responded saying the cans were more expensive. Which was a lie. Overall not a good first experience.

I don't write review but? came up from Wales to visit relative's who live locally, and we went to the Tiltyard for Sunday lunch the staff were very friendly the calvery was delicious the apple pie and fresh cream was yummy! 5 star review was a must, Thanks to you all, we will definitely call in next time I come up.
