We have my daughter's 4th birthday party here with about 21 kids. Our hosts were Melissa and Ella. They were fantastic hosts. Very attentive and friendly. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. We couldn't fault anything and my daughter had the best birthday.

We had a nice set lunch at this venue. It was most acceptable, and readonably priced. The service was adequate. The ambience was fine espe ially as we visited at a very busy time of year.

Second time we have made a large group booking of both adults and children . Both times have been great, will definitely book again.

Stopped off for a quick pot stop on route home. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Nice ambiance.

Great place to meet with friends and family also perfect for a quiet evening meal really easy going atmosphere good food and attention paid to service makes for a good time.

Christmas Day Lunch 2024. What an overall lovely experience. Welcome greeting from all staff as we arrived - Nice touch. Atmosphere - Welcoming, relaxed and warm. General room setting and ambiance -Christmasy themed. Vsula was an amazing waitress and assisted with 100% attentiveness. Drinks arrived promptly. When we asked for extra drinks, gravy and askrd to swap a select dessert to ice cream, nothing was too much bother. The food was freshly cooked and plentiful. All five of us couldn't finish our meals, as there was so much food. Quality & quantity - Great value for money. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 very large Tiger prawn starter. Thank you Ben (Landlord). Your team were very welcoming, attentive, acted promptly to our requests, efficient, polite, professional and overall amazing. THANK YOU. I hope our tip showed our appreciation of a great Christmas Day experience? Happy New Year x

Visit quite often after sporting events - The food and service have always been excellent.

We were staying over at the travelodge which unfortunately didn’t do breakfast, luckily the pub next door did! We were very impressed with the breakfast and Ben & Sophie were brilliant, we also came back in the evening after being out in Shrewsbury for the day and had a meal and a few drinks, the baileys coffee to finish off with was fab! Would absolutely recommend

Called in for a drink Very loud music playing, I asked a young girl if she could turn it down. She then went and turned it up at that stage I put my drink on the bar and left and won't be going again until they get some better staff.

I have used this location many times And the meals have been ok but my last meal at this location was not good I had to send the meal back and not eat it due to the chicken was pink inside .

Lovely breakfast. We stayed at the travelodge across the carpark and decided to try it out for breakfast. Restaurant was clean and the staff on the ball. Great start of the day.

The staff were extremely accommodating, we had called up and booked a table for seven adults and two dogs that morning, however when we arrived there was no spaces available in the bar area (dog friendly zone). They were very apologetic, and quickly and promptly they got us seated in the restaurant area (after checking that the other clients were happy with two dogs and no-one was allergic). I thought this was extremely professional of the team. After being seated, we had Sunday lunch - which was gorgeous, definitely recommend. A friend, who frequently visits GreeneKing restaurant establishments, commented that Two Henry's food was the best they'd tasted. We will be coming back again - I really like that this place has dog friendly areas inside, as food is lovely to have after a dog walk at Houghmond Hill.

We had the best time. We have a 1 year old who has just learnt to walk and the staff were brilliant with her we weren’t made to feel we had to keep her in one place. Vikki was our waitress and she was amazing. So warm and friendly and great with our daughter. Will definitely be going back. The food was really good and our daughters portion was huge 😂 Thanks so much to the team that were in that night.

Nice friendly staff will go again when I'm next over, didn't get chance to try the food there.

A great meal and realy friendly staff

Really disappointing roast dinner. The roast potatoes were anemic and clearly had been microwaved. The veg had also been microwaved and the broccoli was chewy. There wasn’t enough gravy. Overall not worth the price.

Lovely quiet place and the food was great

This has to be the most awful service I have ever had in a pub. The first course still had not arrived after 30 minutes, eventually the waitress ( who studiously avoided eye contact) came back and said “it was being plated up” With the first course finished, we waited, and we waited, and the waitress passed the table six times and avoided the now finished dishes. My partner took the three year old to the play area and we then gave the order for three ice creams. They brought one after 15 minutes. With more frank discussions with a passing staff member the bill was presented, but no ice creams. Some time later they arrived. The meal took one and a half hours for fish and chips and an ice cream. This pub has a good play area, but children should not expect a 30 minute wait for their hamburger. We won’t be back.

Stayed at the travel lodge for 3 nights whilst visiting son at RAF Shawbury. Had breakfast each morning , menu flexible enough to allow variations on choices .Food always served in good time and well presented ,staff remembered how I liked my tea always a bonus. We had two evening meals both very good no complaints at all . Our servers, from the lovely lady who greeted us on arrival and other team members were all friendly polite and smiling no miserable faces . Special thanks go to Vikki Harvey and Amy who we had most contact with . Husband appreciated the choice of ales , meaning after long days driving could have a couple of pints then just cross the carpark to our room in the travel lodge . Will certainly be using the Two Henry’s again.

Menu online showed a number of gluten free options and was in a handy location to meet up. Staff VERY helpful: When we asked about gluten free menu, we had to browse an apparently different menu, to that seen online, on a tablet. It was not particularly clearly laid out and had inconsistencies eg. why could we have a gluten free apple crumble with ice cream, but not custard? (There were several dishes on main menu which we could not fathom why they weren't gluten free) The staff were extremely helpful with several trips to kitchen to check gluten free status and availability. We were told they'd just cleaned the fryers so we could have chips (they do not have a fryer dedicated to non gluten foods) so we were able to have, what is for us, a treat of pub chips. Prices reasonable, pub clean and tidy and relaxing. Glad we came here. Dear Green King; making menus clearer for those with allergies and dedicated allergy equipment could make this place a 'go-to' for fellow sufferers. Many thanks to the team

Visited here recently and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food, service and updated interior. Really handy having the wacky warehouse for the kids too.

A really handy eating place for the Travelodge a few steps away. Large, light and airy the pub is fully accessible. Staff are friendly and the place is kept clean and smart There is a wide choice of 'pub grub' on offer with offerings for vegetarians and vegans. The pub opens early too to serve a cooked breakfast which was very handy.

Food and service very good, but £6 for a pint. Come on!

Words usually fail me, but in this instance I can unload the whole dictionary about how stupendous this place is. The food is immaculate, the atmosphere is impeccable, the staff are as friendly as golden retrievers, the drinks are estimable for all your Hard earned money, the toilets are brank spanking clean and best of all, the peice e resistance, the steak is medium marvellous! If your in the area and you DONT come here, Broadmoor might be a more appropriate location for you! 18/10!!

Really only came here because we were staying at the hotel next door. However, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Adding in the amazing burger and drink deal, this turned out to be a no-brainer. Although we were served by three different people, the level of friendliness and knowledge remained high. Would definitely go again if we were in the area.

Took a group of 14 there for dinner on Saturday. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was really good value for money. The service was exceptional! Thanks Dawn and Vikki for an exceptional evening. Breakfast on Sunday was also great.

Visited the Two Henrys last weekend for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. It's a big venue but has cosy seating areas. Dog friendly, definitely a plus! Had a lovely meal, generously proportioned. Reasonable prices too. Very friendly and quick service. I'll definitely be back!

Stood at bar for 5 minutes, didn't get served so left , they need a shake up, won't be going back , not a happy person !!!!@

Visited today for lunch as we were in shrewsbury. I ordered a light bite fish n chips when it came it was swimming (pardon the pun) in dirty grease as when the fryer has not been cleaned it was on my plate the waitress took it away to the kitchen when she returned it was no better I started to eat it but the fish was also over cooked burnt inside the batter you would have to see it to know what I'm talking about. The poor waitress was so apologetic. Not her fault maybe the head chef/kitchen mgr needs a refresher coarse on food presentation.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at this establishment. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was enjoyable. As we were staying at the Travelodge next door, we ate dinner and breakfast here. We’d recommend the breakfast baps and the pancakes. The staff made a fuss of our dogs too giving them fresh water and treats.

Stayed in the travelodge for a few days with my husband and visited the Two Henry’s next door. We were pleasantly surprised by the newest 2 for £20 deal. However, it didn’t seem to work initially, i felt ever so sorry for all of the staff, especially the young blonde waitress Jess, who tried incredibly hard to fix the issue with the deal. In the end, i believe it was her manager (who was also appearing stressed) eventually, fixed the problem. we don’t normally leave reviews, but Jess went above and beyond to try and fix the problem for us and the food service and quality was fantastic, Jess is a credit to green king!

Came in on bank holiday for dinner. Food was delicious and our waitress Jess was very friendly and polite, and helped accommodate for my son's nut allergy. Will definitely be returning soon!

Such a lovely meal- great food and wonderful service. I’m gluten-free and veggie- but still had choice! We were so impressed that we have booked our next meal before leaving!

Came here for dinner and the food was just what we asked for it was delicious! Very friendly staff , perfect if you want to bring your dog, nice environment , all round great place to go with friends or family. Definitely will be back!

This is a great place to visit good food great welcome every time you visit weather you have toast and coffee or steak and chips. Its also easy on the pocket we can take the hole family out and the dog for a great Sunday breakfast love it

Had the turkey Sunday lunch very filling My wife had the trio of Sunday lunch and our friend had roast beef All lovely but like everywhere else we had to ask for more gravy as it's never enough for me

My partner and I stopped at The Two Henrys on our way back from the hospital. We were greeted by Harvey who was very polite and friendly and he took our order. Harvey is definitely an asset to Green King. Our food was very tasty and hot, we both enjoyed our meal and even had a dessert too. Vasoula who delivered our meal was very friendly too. Would definitely go back again.

Clean and quiet we had a lovely little corner has requested to eat in staff were relaxed polite and efficient Location good easy to find lots of parking no height barriers next to a travelodge Would recommend Greene king chain we used a voucher to pay with all very smooth Only thing had no cheesecake when we ordered our sweet so we never bothered good for staff mention this on ordering whats not availible

Who ever does the stock wants sacking... However the bar staff and waitresses were brilliant.

I've had dinner at The Two Henrys twice now, and both times had a lovely meal. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and feels more upmarket than other Greene Kings I've been to. The service has always been friendly and efficient - this time we were served by Ffion, who was excellent. The food is really good - I highly recommend the katsu chicken, which I now visit specifically to eat! They also have a good range of summer drinks available at the moment. There is a Wacky Warehouse but I've not used it yet - hoping to visit with my daughter soon.

Me and my partner were there for a wake and the staff were all very polite and helpful, the food what was put on was top notch 👌 could ask for anything better. We will definitely be returning for a meal

Had a lovely breakfast this morning with excellent customer service. Very friendly polite and charming lady Dawn took our order and was so lovely and relaxed . Could not fault and started my day off in a positive mood. Thank you Dawn your a real credit. The little note on the back of the receipt telling us to have a great week was very personal and sweet.

Surprisingly good food. I had crispy cauliflour, calamari and some chips, all excellent. Other diners meals looked good too. It's your normal chain pub but clean.

Very disappointed I come here alot but was disappointed with fish and chips and onion rings requested to return to kitchen as chips and onion rings were cold but fish hot . They returned them afew mins after to find that they cooked fresh chips but refried fish and onion rings making the fish dry and dark batter same with onion rings . Declined to pay for this meal without issues but very disappointed for the first time of all our visits . Waiter service was very good though .

Got a portion of chips that come in the smallest flower pot, costing nearly £4 which we're overcooked frozen chips. When complained the bar manager just shrugged his shoulders ans said nothing.

Food was ok. Nice atmosphere. However, we had to change so many times our order as something has been out of stock. Not informed about it at the beginning, so every 5min we have been asked to amend our order.

Around 15 of us for a birthday meal. Food and service was great! Had Harvey serve us and he was lovely and helpful throughout! Everyone enjoyed themselves so thank you 😊 also really good menu choices!

Excellent food Excellent service and wonderful staff. We took our granddaughter to the play area and I must say really impressed with the facility. Staff that helped us, Because and Melissa both went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much. I would 100% recommend.

I am a vegetarian and the breakfast was amazing. You don't find good vegetarian breakfasts very often but this breakfast have everything. I couldn't eat anything eles until tea then I couldn't eat much. The service was brilliant and the staff was polite 😀. Thank you to the Chef and Dawn and Keeley and Demi perfect service. Hope to see you all very soon.

Went in at lunchtime and a lot of the food was off the menu due to them waiting for a delivery. Loads of food off the menu on a Saturday lunchtime is like Asda running out of beans! Very disappointing, so disappointing we walked out and went to Burger King!!!

Good value dog friendly pub. Good choice of well cooked meals at reasonable prices.

Visited with family for lunch in April. We were welcomed by the manager Ben, who was super friendly and showed us to a pet friendly table as we had our dog with us. It's brilliant to be able to take your dog with you, if only more places would allow them!! Service was prompt and the food was really good value for money. They even do ice cream for dogs! It's not the first time I've been and certainly won't be the last. Lovely friendly atmosphere, good value food and dog friendly, what more can you say!

The is the second Green King pub we have visited in the past few days and the experience couldn’t have been more different. On Sunday we were not happy with the service or the food and left disappointed. Tonight it was completely the opposite. The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much for them. The food was delicious and we left very contented and well fed. I would highly recommend this particular Restaurant if you want good service and even better food.

Went here for a work meal, and was impressed. Staff very friendly and made sure we were ok throughout. Food very good. Food and drink all reasonably priced, too. Went to Hencote earlier in the week for a group meal and The Two Henry’s is just better!

To many options on the menu, drinks were nice, food feels abit bland but fine 🙂 My friend who's autistic felt overwhelmed with the menu but manged to help out Children's menu was great for my child and colourful

not been here for years so though on our weekly night out we would try it had the fish and chips which was good, staff were friendly and service was ok. for a couple coming out without kids probably not the place as lots of young kids.

A fantastic evening with family. We were staying locally and went for dinner with family joining us So without booking we were a party of 16 we ordered dinner and drinks. They were superb. Everything came out quickly, and accurately. We were well looked after. Vasoula who took charge of the orders and looked after us did a superb job. The food was good pub grub, but the the service and care and thoughtfulness of the staff and Vasoula made a Brit family evening Thank you very much.

My grandchild was hungry. So they made her pizza first .just fantastic. And indoor play area and out side one just made our day

Food was amazing, one of the best pub foods we’ve had in ages. Service was a little slow / have to call staff over a lot but they were very friendly!

Lovely meal came quickly and hot. Demi was very efficient and polite and couldn’t do enough for us would definitely recommend.

Sadly, it took nearly an hour for our starters to arrive - the Subway over the road looked ever more attractive as time dragged on whilst we waited. The starters were not worth the wait. Two of the mains were overcooked and they appeared to have sat waiting for the others to be ready. Food was average and overpriced for the quality. The staff did not once acknowledge the delay or apologise. Would not choose to go back until there are big improvements

The food and staff were excellent. The staff were so friendly and absolutely brilliant with my 2yr old Granddaughter, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Too expensive and poor service ref the bar, the staff wander around like on another planet and just look at people waiting and chat to each other, honest it's ridiculous, many of us have gone elsewhere.

Fabulous experience, here with grandchildren aged 8 and 3. Food requests catered for no problem and when youngest child crying as big brother had been a little rough with him, the lovely manager came over, talked to the children in a lovely way and then bought them goodie bags which obviously did the job. Food good, no complaints, staff friendly and accommodating, would certainly recommend. Leaving the venue with a smile 👍👍👍

I had garlic mushrooms which were lovely.One of our party had gammon,egg and chips.The were Luke warm as was the gammon.The egg was like rubber.A complaint was made to a lovely round lady who apologised and our man was refunded the money .He ordered a desert which was great.I don't know the name of the young lady who was only about 18 but she handled the situation very well.
