I’ve been coming here since I first discovered it two decades ago. Whenever I’m in London I make it a point to drop in. In the winter, the hot toddies and mulled wine are excellent. In the summer it is a cold beer or gin & tonic. Fish & chips are excellent. Don’t know that I’ve ever had any other food there.

Nice, typical. classic British Pub. Good service. Somewhat small, but perfectly adequate selection of real ale, which was good and served in the appropriate manner using the correct style of glass. Small cozy pub, very nice atmosphere. I'd recommend it for a pint.

Researched the Victoria inn around the fact that it sold Fullers London Pride and ESB my favourite London ales, didn’t have food on the night, only ale. Superb original aged and well kept London pub with a unique cosy warm atmosphere, the service was excellent and the beers were smack on re taste and temperature etc. It happened to be Tuesday quiz night that was organised by a really good patient and understanding gentleman throughout, we didn’t participate but we enjoyed the questions and answers as it occurred. The warmest friendliest London pub I’ve been in, and I’ve been in a few over the years, I look forward to my next visit.

Prezzi normali. Servizio veloce e cordiale. 🇬🇧 When you enter upstairs it feels like entering a real Victorian style house. Truly a magical atmosphere. Very typical menu, I highly recommend the meat-filled pie... really delicious. Good beers. Normal prices. Fast and friendly service.

The Victoria in Paddington offers the complete package for a memorable pub experience, delicious food, warm service, and an enchanting ambiance that’s worth savoring. Food: The menu is an absolute treat. The shepherd’s pie was exceptional, rich, savory, and perfectly comforting. If only the portion were larger because I could have easily gone for seconds! The meat pies were equally delightful, with flaky pastry and hearty fillings. We also tried the Sunday roast, which was a star in its own right. The tender meat, golden roast potatoes, and vibrant vegetables all came together with a rich gravy for a meal that hit all the right notes. Drinks: A good pub isn’t complete without excellent drinks, and The Victoria delivers. The ciders and beers we had were top-notch—refreshing and perfectly paired with the hearty meals. Whether you’re a fan of classic ales or a crisp cider, you’ll find something to enjoy here. Service: The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Their genuine warmth makes you feel right at home, whether it’s your first visit or your tenth. Atmosphere: The ambiance is one of the pub’s standout features. The decor is beautiful, with a perfect mix of traditional and cozy charm. From the beautifully detailed ground floor to the equally stunning upper floors, this pub is a visual delight that makes you want to explore every corner. Whether you’re visiting for a Sunday roast, a hearty shepherd’s pie, or just a relaxing drink, The Victoria in Paddington is an absolute must-visit. With its exceptional food, drinks, and atmosphere, it’s a place you’ll want to return.

Very chaotic management. Had to wait half an hour to get seated for a reserved table which had not been set aside for us, and they had the gall to charge a 50 pound reservation fee! We had to ask for cutlery and cups. Dishes came out in a strange order. Everything was done either by two people redundantly or by no one at all - a mess on the floor was not cleaned up and later swept up by an unwitting customer's coat. Food portions were on the meager side and its taste was standard. Desserts were subpar.

I visited the pub at midday and was greeted with a warm welcome from the bar staff, setting a positive tone for the visit. The beer selection was impressive, offering a range of excellent options to suit all tastes. The crackling open fireplaces added a cosy charm to the atmosphere, making it feel wonderfully inviting. My three friends joined me shortly after, and we ordered from the main menu. The pub exudes a relaxed yet well-organised vibe, with attentive service that reflects how smoothly everything is run. As expected from a Fuller’s establishment, the meals, beers, and service were all exceptional. Overall, it was another outstanding experience at a Fuller’s pub. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Completely brilliant pub with beautiful service and delicious food - what a winner near Paddington Station! This is our new favourite place for my lovely aunt and I. We rushed in just now for our third visit while they were also really busy, to see if we could get quick food & drink before a train. They recommended and brought so quickly the most delicious chips and fabulous wings, all done just how we wanted them. This is a kitchen that really knows what it is doing & I look forward to exploring the menu much more over time. Even better than all of that (a high bar!) is the charming service. Today we were really cherished by delightful Ines who looked out for us and very kindly pointed out a table becoming free (we are a pair of old Crips and really need a comfy sit down if possible!) and then was so great with order etc. plus also lovely Teddy and Krupa at the bar who were so helpful too. Also a fantastic upstairs with amazing decor and the same great food. Plus my aunt says the beer is excellent! Just wonderful, and we will be back at every opportunity - thank you all!

This is a traditional pub just a short walk from Paddington station. It has wood panelling that gives it a somewhat intimate feel. It is not large but they do have additional seating upstairs and outside. Being a Fuller's pub they had a good selection of 6 cask beers, I chose the London Pride at £5.75. I was here at 4.30pm on a Tuesday and it was busy with a mix of tourists and locals. They do hold regular quiz nights. The toilets are in the basement accessed by a steep staircase, beware of the low ceiling when descending as I did bump my head.

Really nice building and looks a nice pub. Busy. Few serving staff, long waits at the bar and a bit of a "who shouts loudest" free for all. Tried to get a second beer but staff just looked straight through me then served themselves a drink and walked off to talk with their mates. Edit based on owner response Thanks for replying. Yes, managing a busy bar is not easy, fully appreciate that. Unfortunately on the day it was a bit more than that. Having got queue jumped 3 times (more the patron than the staff fault) to see the barman grab a drink (not water) then come customer side was a bit too much.

Planned a once in a lifetime 5 week roadtrip to Southern Italy. On our way back, we routed a layover in London to experience this hot spot with such history and stellar reviews. Had 8 pm reservations and was offered a tiny table squashed into a corner where we'd barely fit. They accommodated our wishes to sit at a better, more ample, spaced table. Only to be told 5 minutes after being seated that we had to move to the table we already disclosed was too tiny. Haven't experienced this rudeness ever. Removed ourselves and had dinner at Sawyer's Arms. An unexpected glitch in a outstanding Italian adventure. Not an outstanding experience at the Victoria unfortunately. Could have been handled differently.

Our second attempt at Sunday Roast at this classic bar in London, having looked around for a place around Paddington and Hyde Park to dine in ☺️ ⏰ came by without a reservation around 12, and was glad to see there’s plenty of seats on the ground level - the first floor is for folks either reservation, and it’s significantly busier as compared to the peace we had on the ground level. We were asked to sit anywhere we wanted on the ground level, and to send our order at the counter when we are ready - which works for us since we wanted to split the bill. Food were served rather promptly, both the chicken and pork belly were decent; and definitely a meal that we find hard to solo for the huge portion! We also concluded we didn’t love Sunday Roasts, but definitely enjoyed the tradition and the experience of having it 👍🏻

I’ve been a frequent customer for around 4 years and a repeat pattern has been the dismantling of a seemingly excellent menu and removal of favourite dishes. The latest is a change of the shepherds pie - a spectacularly brilliant dish which has changed to a mediocre version where there’s hardly any lamb and 90% potato with barely a scrap of cheese on top. I’ve sampled the latter twice this week and on the first occasion (with a group of friends) on Weds last it was also overcooked and dried out. What’s going on ?

It was really an enjoyable place and really deserves it's reputation for having their best croissants!

I was enjoying an Aussie NYE with a girlfriend that lives in the Uk. Myself I travel to London once a year to visit my son & grandson. We had a wonderful lunch with fabulous staff that helped me get into their WiFi to watch Australian NYE fireworks. Food was delish Prosecco perfect for the occasion with staff popping in to check out the fireworks 1pm UK time. . Anyway the next day I thought there was an overcharge and called, Dalia answered and was amazing on the phone to assist me asked me to email the details and reassured me she would answer and sort it out. Later it dawned on me what was wrong and that it was my fault, the exchange rate was horrible at that moment, I apologized for my mistake and thanked them for their professional service. I will eat their ever visit to the UK and Covent Garden .

Very good location near Hyde Park and with metro and bus nearby. The service is very good and the rooms are more than adequate for resting as a family. We were two adults, a two-year-old baby and a 4-month-old newborn.
