The Voyager in Redcar and Cleveland

We usually visit as a party of 4, my dad, myself and my two children, one is autistic and like quiet areas. Staff went out of there way to move us to a quieter table without any fuss. They understood our requirement and helped and we are so grateful. In addition I'm gluten intolerant & staff always help me select food I can eat, for which there is a huge variety. We now love visiting here because you make it accessible for us. Thank you to the team at the Voyager in Guisborough

The service was warm and friendly the only issues l have is that tables shouldn't be booked to early for customers tables are reserved to early other than that no other complaints fish was excellent and the waitress was lovely

First time tried for lunch will go back but staff more concerned a outing serving food than drinks leaving empty bar all the time huge beer garden good ffod

The staff are always polite and very, very helpful. It is a very busy quiz night and the drinks were served promptly, and the food was delicious, hot and well prepared.

Family of five all having something different. All left clean plates. If I was being ultra picky, I would say a little too much BBQ sauce on the hunters chicken

Attended the Grinch breakfast, was a lovely event for the children. We loved the special touch of Christmas cards with the gifts! The voyager is a lovely local pub with great entertainment and amazing staff! Perfect place to visit with children! Very accessible with many tables on one level! Can’t wait to visit over Christmas!

First class service from all the bar and waiting on staff. The pricing was reasonable for both drinks and food. We were in a party of 10 and whilst the pub was very busy the food arrived at the same time and hot, well done the Chefs. We’ll all be back again soonest.

Party of 3 people for the Xmas menu. Food was disappointing. The sauce for the fish was cold, but I did ask for it to be reheated. The cauliflower cheese side dish had no cheese sauce whatsoever. However the worst part of the evening was the music quiz. Had I known there was one going on that evening, I wouldn't have booked. It was so loud that we just couldn't have any kind of conversation and we were sat underneath two large speakers. We literally had to shout to each other to talk during the evening. The worst table of them all to be sat at!! I asked if the speakers could be turned down or bypassed but apparently this couldn't be done. Not a good evening!!!!

We waited for just under an hour for our meals, even though the couple who were on the next table to us came in and sat down after us and got their meals before us. They had finished their meals and left by the time we were making our second complaint.

Always a warm welcome at the Voyager. Very accommodating for a family of fussy eaters. Great alternative for vegan and gluten free.

Always a friendly place to come for all the family. Staff are warm and welcoming. Great menu options. My children particularly enjoy the freshly made pizzas

Not keen on savoury and sweet together but that's personal preference. Food cooked fine. Just took a while to get it Sunday tea time.

This place is amazing. Staff are very friendly. I have never experienced any trouble or anything. It’s great for family, friends and celebrations. The staff cannot do enough.

'The Voy' was our local when we lived in Guisborough between 2001 & 2016. At the time of our moving, we frequented circa 3 to 4 times per week. Our children had fled the nest, and it was convenient for my wife & I to have a meal and a couple of bottles of wine. Friends & colleagues used to ask if the food was good, as we attended so frequently? My standard response was, "No, but it's cheap." Since we moved away, 'The Voy' has undergone a considerable upgrade, including new management. 'PK' has progressed from glass-collector to mein host and oversees a great pub, with decent food. This is a source of considerable frustration for my wife and I as the village we moved to doesn't have a pub! Even though our fewer visits now include a soft drink or a couple of halves, we still love the place.

We often visit the Voyager it’s a lovely pub the staff are so friendly and efficient. The meals are great especially the fish and chips! Also the chicken masala is delicious. The drinks are reasonably priced too. Can’t fault it. We will be returning soon. Keep up the good work 👍🏾

Attended Voyfest 2024. Will definitely attend the next live band night. Had sharing food, great portion size and choices. Even though it was extremely busy all staff were very polite and friendly. Lots of choice of drinks and outside bar to save time in the queue. Great family pub and dog friendly

Food is what you would expect; average pub food, can't complain about that. On the other hand, the wait... I hope you have a spare few hours to waste. It wasn't even busy, and the food took over an hour to arrive when it should have been served within 30 minutes. This is not just a 1 off this has been the last 3 times we have been this is the last time.

Fantastic day at Voyfest. So well organised despite huge attendance. Great service from all the team. QR codes also available at the table with full waiter service so no big queue at the bar. Friendly door staff as well avoiding any idiots spoiling things.

I visited to attend Voyfest. Me my friends and family had an amazing day and night. The music was fantastic, the bar staff worked their socks off and always greeted us with a smile. The place was kept clean with so many people there too. Well done to the staff for such a well put together day.

A lovely place and the most friendly staff at all times, but sadly the food is often overcooked. The fish had chewy edges and veg pie pastry was tough. Other meals were excellent. Will still go there but I hope it improves.

Great location, as were the service & atmosphere. We didn’t eat but the food we seen served looked & smelled delicious. Definitely worth a trip back. Plenty of outdoor seating/tables.

Breaking up for 6 weeks from local college. About 15 most ate meal cheap but felt some were small. Mine was tuna melt with large chip it was really nice. Friendly atmosphere and good service .

Never been here before so a new experience. The service was pretty good and there was a good selection. We went for the light bites which were OK but a bit smaller than we expected. However, the prices were some of the cheapest I've ever seen so it was definitely value for money.

Had a lovely meal with family. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was good especially the fish & chips with mushy peas. They were happy to make an change to what was on the menu to accommodate my taste. Would definitely recommend and return.

One of my favourite pubs around! Food is lovely, especially the curries and pizzas with deals on weekly & a great selection of drinks. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help. Plenty of seating with a great outdoor area for the summer.

We eat out once a week on average and The Voyager is our ‘go to’ pub .A good choice of food, nicely cooked and well presented, with a full range of drinks. The staff are polite and very obliging, a credit to the licensee. Always a good friendly atmosphere (dog friendly too)

Decided at the last minute to have lunch as we passing the voyager. Loads of parking available. The pub was fairly busy but we were served promptly and our food arrived in good time. The pizza and steak sandwich we ordered were hot and very tasty. A great lunch and pint!

We were here on holiday. Really lovely staff. Phoned day before to book a table so could watch football and we had a table right at tv booked out. Food good and great service. Thanks 🙂

Full of drunken yobs every Friday who were arguing and squaring up to each other at the bar…. Running after each other out the pub, barmaids all involved in the hype of splitting up the fight…. That’s when they weren’t flirting and slapping lads arses as they walked past them. Such a shame as it’s a great location and facility

The staff are excellent, served promptly and efficiently even when pub is busy. Food was lovely came out piping hot.

Me and my partner always come here, the atmosphere is always outstanding, the service and staff are always approachable and are great. On top of this, I take my daughter on a walk every morning around 9-10am. Earlier this week she noticed the playground and wanted to play in it, I spoke with a member of staff and they were very accommodating and stated that we could use it as much as we wanted, even providing blue roll to allow me to dry off the slide for her, my daughter now loves and looks forward to playing on their playground. Thank you to the lovely lady who made this happen.

Amazing pub/restaurant. Always lovely staff every time I go in. Great choice of alcohol and live sports. Food and drinks are greatly priced for the quality and service given. Many different activities for everyone (pool table, darts, fruit machines + a park for the kids)

We came to have dinner with family who were visiting us. It was easy to book a table online which helped a great deal. As a table of 7 adults and a 3yr old it was relativley quick to order our meals and to recieve them. The only thing I would suggest is that you have child friendly cutlery as my grandaughter stuggled with the size of the fork she was using to eat her meal.There was plenty to keep young ones occupied which was thoughtful. I had to assist my daughter who uses a wheelchair to the accesible toilet but didnt find any signage to where it was located, so asked a member of the team which they then pointed out to us. Overall we enjoyed our meal, the staff were very good and helpful. And we will visit again.
