Worst breakfast in ivybridge. On the face of it , it looks ok until you taste the poor quality goods. Cheap sausage, cheap baked beans , egg smothered in oil, horrible brown sauce. £1 extra for ONE slice of bread and butter. At this price range (£8.50) they could use quality products and still make profits. First and last meal there. Better options only 2 mins away.

My favourite place for lunch in the area, well priced and great service. Lots of tables to sit inside and out, good for a snack or just a cup of tea. Far better than some of the overpriced cafes in the area.

My first visit here for lunch recently which was really very nice. Made to feel most welcome and a very tasty lunch enjoyed. Superb little side salad, fresh and colourful. Look forward to my next visit. Thankyou.

Linked to the library and entertainments complex run by Ivybridge council this is a great place to sit and relax over a coffee (not forgetting the delicious cakes!). Really friendly and ever helpful staff. A real delight!

A local cafe with reasonably priced lunches, cake, hot and cold drinks. Based at the entrance to the library and bottom of the Watermark Theatre. Gluten free cakes available and jacket potatoes if needing a winter warmer.

A very popular spot in the town. Part of the library and Watermark complex. Good for a coffee or tea.

Went for a group Christmas supper. Not cheap. The ambience was as charming as eating in a sports hall - no effort made to make it cosy - tables laid out like a business meeting, The service was awful and the food indescribable poor. Haven't had yellow wet sprouts since I was at school. Not enough veg. My veggie main course was like a trainer insole and came out cold / my cheese came plonked in a plate still in plastic with a price on it. It was memorably shudderingly awful and was about £18.50 a head.

Our good friend held her 'Significant' birthday in one of the reception rooms available. There was plenty of space for the 60 odd guests, and the staff were quick to find an extra table when needed. (The only negative on this was they couldn't find a tablecloth!!!) The food supplied was plentiful and well presented. The bar was a bit small, and only had an 'Irish' stout on tap. However the service from 'Alex' was quick and she was a very pleasant and well presented young lady. The community in and around Ivybridge are lucky to have such a facility.

Been changed around a bit in recent times. The seating is rather hard and uncomfortable since the nice seating was removed. OK for a quick coffee during a shopping outing or visit to the adjoining library.

A valiant effort but a bit dull. Clean, modern but uninspired with a modest selection or routine food and not much if any thought to design/decor. Averagely priced. Steady polite service. Can involve a short wait for service and for a free table but at this time of year if you have a aware coat you can still sit outside.

Gewoon een goede kop koffie en een lekkere bak thee. Met een heerlijke framboos-citroen cake. Eenvoudig en goed.

It isn't the greatest location ... but that's about the only thing we cannot give points for. The tea, coffee, cakes, and also the music were great. Not too loud, just at the background so that conversation was well possible. And fair price for good products. And at the centre of the village, with free parking for up till two hours.

This was a surprising find and a great place if you want to meet up with friends over a quick hot chocolate or other hot drink. Really nice place, rather compact but nice. The staff are pleasant and very helpful.

Like many other people I often meet friends here for coffee. However, because I arrived so early last week I decided to have lunch first. Only one lady doing everything so the service was slow - although she was most apologetic and friendly. Not much choice but the toasted sandwich was ok and freshly cooked. Very busy throughout my stay, so is a popular place. I shall continue to go there for snacks and drinks but it's not really a venue to 'do' lunch!

Lovely little coffee shop to have a break & a chat, while visiting the library or other services & looking at what's on around Ivybridge.

Situate on the ground floor of the Watermark Centre this little café is a gem. Pleasant and friendly staff. Had coffee (latte £2) and biscuits although I noticed they did croissants, teacakes and muffins as well as a selection of chocolate biscuits. From the menu it looked like they did snacks as well such as sandwiches/paninis etc. Adjacent car park (Erme Court) is free for 2 hour stay and £1 for 3 hours. Also on the ground floor of the building was the library and upstairs an art gallery. Some tables and chairs outside as well.

One of the best experiences of eating out we’ve had ever! The food was perfection. I had the king prawn linguine- full of flavour and I could have eaten the whole dish again despite being happily full. My husband had the steak frites! Which he also said was one of the best meals he’s ever had out! We are regular foodies and have been to the most exquisite fine dining, Michelins star restaurants nationally and globally and dick and Wills was a new gem we have discovered. It will be hard to eat anywhere else when frequenting salcombe after finding dick and wills! Oh and the cocktails… outstanding! I have finally found my drink… l highly recommend the lychee martini if u like sweet cocktails. Go enjoy dick and wills - you’re welcome! 😊

The staff were amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable about the venue. They answered every question with ease, often with a story behind the dish. The food was outstanding, every dish a hit. It was very quiet so hard to judge atmosphere however the staff made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in. Fantastic experiance, will definitely be back.

Excellent food & service, good wine list to pair with. I really enjoyed it and look forward to returning. We came twice in 4 days and I went to the chippy too which was also excellent. V expensive but very delicious. Hake was reasonable and really nice, I’d have this instead of cod now. Only thing to be aware is the rockfish restaurant is full of dogs, so if you prefer not to eat surrounded by animals it will not be for you.

We had a delicious dinner here last night. Despite being a wintery, cold January evening the welcome and atmosphere was warm and inviting. Starters included mussels, scallops and prawns which were all delicious. Mains were the fish of the day, crab linguine and mussels. Again, all delicious - the only comment would be that the fish was slightly overcooked but had excellent flavours and was still enjoyed. We were very well looked after and the attention to detail was excellent. Thoroughly recommend and definitely book at busier times of year as there aren't many tables. Thank you for an excellent dinner.
