Lovely thatched roofed country pub. Full of character. Staff were very friendly, and the owner has been there 44yrs. We'll worth a visit - and not expensive. Paid £11.10 for drinks that I would normally pay £13-£15 👍🏻

Cozy pub hidden away in Wallop. We only had a beer in the garden, so I can't say anything about the food.

So nice to find a traditional old pub that hasn't been ruined by a large pub chain. Friendly service, reasonably priced beers including Peroni too :) Also a great idea with local pizza van attending I think once a month. We shall be back.

Very friendly, authentic village pub, with a classic pub grub style menu. Gorgeous flowery front garden. Love that the pub regularly puts on events, movie nights, bingo, quiz nights and all sorts!! The owners have been in the pub for 40+ years and know their stuff.

Not a very good experience, we were on our way to a family camping trip when our car broke down near this pub. Managed to push the car into the car park whilst waiting on the AA. Initially fairly friendly, we used the toilet, bought a few drinks and the kids (6 yo triplets) played in their garden where it was safe from the busy road. Kids being normal 6 year olds started to through leaves around when I went to speak to the AA man. The owner came out and told me to take them out of the garden as they weren’t welcome then proceeded to lock all doors. Three hours later AA are in the process of hooking up our car to tow it away whilst we load up the 7 seat taxi with our camping gear to be told by the proprietor’s wife that she hopes we won’t be too long as they are expecting a busy night. Totally rude and not very friendly. 3 very upset children who cannot go on holiday and told they can sit in the safety of the pub garden. Not a recommended place to go.

Lovely country pub, I always say that if you want a proper curry then go to a Indian restaurant, so we gave it a try anyway, my wife and I opted for the Currie's, we was not disappointed it was brilliant, the staff are really friendly, great beer, the locals who was in the pub was lovely to talk to, definitely will be returning the next time we visit. Thank you for a great night, 👍👍

Visited the White Hart today on our way back from a short break on the South Coast. To say the reception was frosty is an understatement!! We were greeted to here come the civies...we just walked out and left them all to their local pub that non locals are not welcome in.

Interesting very old pub , with a lot of people who know each other and chat from one table to the other. Makes the pub very friendly and amusing. The place itself is great , very very old building but charming.

Popped in after a session at Thruxton kart with a group of sweaty, smelly blokes. The landlord and co were all the nicest folk you could hope to meet. Great conversation, great sense of humour. Top recommendations on the drinks available too. So happy we stopped in.

The Three Tuns in Romsey is a charming 400-year-old pub that masterfully blends historic ambiance with modern comforts. Nestled amidst period cottages, its traditional character is highlighted by dark beams, exposed brick, and slate flagstones, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub offers a diverse menu featuring dependable classics like beer-battered fish with hand-cut chips, mushy peas, and homemade tartare sauce. Seasonal specials, such as Isle of Wight sea bass paired with a casserole of lentils and roots, showcase the kitchen’s creativity. Desserts like Hampshire rhubarb and pear crumble provide a comforting conclusion to the meal. The Three Tuns is also known for its well-kept ales and a wide selection of wines, spirits, and soft drinks, catering to diverse tastes. Its dog-friendly policy and family-friendly environment make it a welcoming spot for all. Whether you’re seeking a hearty meal, a cozy atmosphere, or a place to enjoy quality drinks, The Three Tuns in Romsey stands out as a delightful destination that captures the essence of a traditional English pub experience.

Dec 24: Update! My previous experience was so positive that I organised a post Xmas get together with family -- nineteen of us were accommodated in a cosy section of the pub, complete with roaring log burner. Food was excellent, service with a smile and good value. Thank you to the team, we'll find an excuse to visit again! Oct 24: Simply too good! Accommodated some motorcyclists without having a reservation. Lovely place, courteous and attentive service, prompt turnaround of food and excellent quality with reasonable prices.
