The Wine Cellar Brighton in Brighton and Hove

Got a 'into the blue' voucher, so decided to travel to brighton for a cream tea. All we got for our £69.99 voucher was a pot of tea, a capful of milk, 2 small amounts of an open prosessco & 2 scones that had been microwaved, because they were stale!! Really, into the blue should investigate where their name is being used! Total rip off

We popped in after visiting The Royal Pavilion; we were warmly greeted by a delightful young lady (Immy?) Wine was just fine, cheeseboard was excellent.. a proper wine bar! No beer, no TV…even better!

We went here for the festive wine tasting and it was really nice. We had a Cava to start and then 4 red wines with a nice selection of meats and cheeses. Really nice atmosphere a bit of a hidden gem in Brighton and this was the second time we had visited.

Fabulous wine bar, great find. Away from the loud and crazy bars, a great place for a more intimate drink. Brilliant selection of wine and the bar man was extremely knowledgeable. The cheese board was also wonderful.

I’m sure this place is great for wine and wine alone. Don’t get the cream tea. It was a gifted to us so I’m really glad we didn’t pay for it. Microwaved scones warm on the outside, practically frozen on the inside. Yellow skin on the clotted cream. The tea smelt like old kettle water and according to OH it tasted like it too. Swift exit from us. Also wouldn’t recommend if you have back problems as only bar stools available to sit. I’m sure the wine is nice.

Visited as part of a virgin experience at the pavilion. Was greeted by a nice guy who was really great at welcoming us and letting us know all about our voucher plus extras we could get. We enjoyed a cream tea with Prosecco and decided to get some cheese and meats and a cheeky glass of wine. Will deafly be going back great price lovely place.

Came for some wine with friends and spent lovely evening here. Nice and cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff and delicious wine. Would 100% come back!
