I had a very nice coffee and sausage Sandwich here this morning. All for a very reasonable £3.40. There was a fairly long queue and I had to wait outside for a while before getting served. There were 3 staff on at the time and coped well with the situation. All in all a good experience.

An excellent bakery. We always get veggie pasties as they are so delicious. Best we have ever had. We are lucky to live in the area and Christmas would not be the same without their award winning mince pies.

I like Thomas the Baker from their scones to iced fingers all are great. Nearest that I have found to what I like in a bakery in England.

Lovely food just a shame about the very rude staff member. It was my first time visiting this branch of Thomas the baker and unfortunately a very rude member of staff ruined our visit and I will not return. She was abrupt the whole time and was clearly not happy in her job as simply doing her job appeared too much like hard work for her. I asked for a sausage sandwich and while she was making it I asked my son if he would like one too and she rudely turned round and said “do you want another while I’m here”. Then she brought over our 2 sausage sandwiches and cappuccino at which point my mum decided she would have coffee and this member of staff rudely said “you should have told me while I was over there”. I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional customer service. Absolutely appalling. I’m embarrassed for the other staff and feel for them Having to work with her all day.

Just the best fresh bread and pastries. Great range of sandwiches and cakes

Poor service in the easingwold branch often 'run out' of sandwiches and lunchtime options by midday. When I asked about sandwiches I was rudely told that 'there was nothing to sell you'. They've hired some new staff who were very friendly. I'm upping my ratint to 3. I'm downgrading the rating for Thomas of Easingwold to 1 star due to the frankly ridiculous rudeness of one particular member of staff who interrupted me through every item of my order to aggressively ask ' is that it ?' what is her problem I ask myself ? Thankfully Easingwold has The Curious Table which is a godsend in good manners and taste compared to this !

Frozen cheese straws! They are really good to cook at home when you just need a pastry fix!

For some reason there seems to be far less filling in the sandwiches from Easingwold compared to Thirsk or Helmsley. Some members of staff can be very abrupt as well.

Great quality sandwiches, pastries and cakes, all sensibly priced. Wide range to choose from and some cool gift ideas too. Friendly staff. Cakes coming in a box is a nice touch.

Good products - sausage rolls are a stand out. The York branches - particularly Bishopthorpe Road - however I would call out the Easingwold staff as being astonishingly rude such that I habitually avoid this one branch now.

They make the best sausage rolls, but everything is really fresh and tasty. I'm always spoilt for choice.

I don't know what they put in the pastry, but everything I have ever had from their gives me heart burn. I've given up, there's a butchers down the road with tasty, fantastic quality pies perfect for lunch!

Good quality bakery, most baked or prepared in store. You know what to expect and the staff are always friendly.

The selection of bakery goods is excellent and ranges from bread and cakes to wonderful sandwiches. Their hot cross buns are the best I've ever tasted - such a shame I live in Worcestershire and only get to shop here 2 or 3 times a year.

Don’t go there expecting warm food or sausages etc

Does what it says on the tin! They’re bakers and they are good at it. The cheese straws are great and the pasties are tasty too with excellent pastry. And there are always seasonal goodies to delight the kids. They are just out of the market square so easy to miss them.... but worth the effort to go find them.

Huge choice of pastries both sweet and savoury. Their sausage rolls are to die for! We bought a selection of sausage rolls and pastries for a 'take-away' snack lunch, all first rate, bar none and at very reasonable prices.

What an amazing little find. Fantastic selection of cakes Sandwiches and hot food all are really great prices. Black pudding Sausage Rolls were really nice. Highly recommended buying a take away lunch from here.

very cheap bakery but exceptional cakes especially a curd tart wich nearly took me 2 hours to find after wandering around York and about 20 odd bakeries with no avail next time you in the area POP IN

Made a mid-day pause during our journey towards nearby York. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The hot snacks and the pastries we bought were delicious.

The food is all freshly baked and you can tell with the quality of the food. The chicken and bacon sandwiches are to die for and the staff are always willing to help and always have a smile on their faces.
