Food outstanding hospitality is fantastic the presentation is great hat off to the chef the staff make you feel welcome especially Joey please try when you are in Dundee

We've visited here a couple of times for lunch recently. The food is delicious hearty pub food, generous portions and served hot.. What more do you need! The staff are lovely, all staff are friendly and very cheerful 😁 and are assets to the business. Thank you! We'll be back again soon!

¡Muy recomendable! Tenía el pastel de carne, plato pequeño. Vino con patatas fritas y verduras al vapor - era absolutamente delicioso! Bob tenía el Haddock con patatas fritas y una ensalada, dijo que también estaba delicioso y perfectamente cocinado! Ambiente es exactamente lo que quieres para un pub escocés! El servicio fue excelente!

Fuimos con algunos amigos y tuvimos una gran experiencia. Siempre ocupado y amable con buen personal y comida. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita.

Visited here recently and loved the place. A beautiful looking bar with large tv for sporting events etc. Live music and an impressive gantry. Staff were great. You have to visit here. If you don't, then you shouldn't be in Dundee.

Amazing & friendly bar staff, helpful to this tourist plus excellent brews & scotch :) Sean, one of our friendly bartenders there, was great in explaining things to us, and all the bartenders were GREAT!

The irony of having a horseshoe bar while not willing to put the racing on at 4pm while boring us to death with sky sports news is too much. Stating "oh no we don't do gambling" and "we only do the grand national". OK mate, but who said anything about gambling. Anyway. Nice pint, just maybe needs some adults with a little bit of common sense to run the place. Then they put woman's tennis on 😂 Reply to reply: Dont worry, bar up the road made the effort (part of sky sports package).

Otra visita a este bullicioso restaurante, la camarera Charlotte fue extremadamente amable y nos advirtió cuánto tiempo estaba tomando la comida. La comida era excelente y llegó a tiempo decente, está bien. . El bistec pastel en es su propio plato individual me irrita, pero el bistec estaba excelentemente preparado. Otra excelente visita y Charlotte es un crédito al pub, con su personna extremadamente acogedora.

Nice pub with some decent outside seating when the weather's nice. The upper indoor balcony is nice too. Standard pricing on drinks, would drink at again.

Visited for the first time on July 29th and enjoyed the drinks and decor, a good old fashioned city pub. Bar staff were polite and one of the guys in my group got a free pint of lager after one was poured by accident for another customer and the barman offered it to whoever wanted it at our table. Will be back again.

This is my go to place in city centre.. Love the pub.. Great pints fantastic food and the amazing staff are very welcoming and friendly.. Ok it's not the cheapest pub (not the staffs fault) but I'd rather pay that bit extra for a friendly safe environment..

Traditional pub, more for locals than tourists.,OK range of beers. Food is good, lots of it. Hottest chilli in Dundee IMHO, it really is hot!

Pretty decent boozer. Staff seem friendly and serve you well before you even know what you want. Pints all taste good, decent selection of drinks. Toilets are great for hiding in and I find that I might need to hide from the countless dodgy stares other boozers tend to give me. Almost like I'm still wearing the high vis.

Friendly bar, nice beer and a great place to watch sport for half an hour. Its pretty small though, and if there are more than 40 folks in there it starts to get crowded! Nice staff too, would definitely recommend 👌.

Come here regularly for a pint and some lunch. Good atmosphere, good for watching some sport and a good pint served by great staff. However….. the food has gone down hill. Whatever you do, DO NOT order their “juicy burger”. A better description would be 5 day old frozen meat with consistency and chewiness of an inner tube served on a plain dry roll. All for the bargain price of £12. Ordering cheese on your burger won’t help to add any juiciness as that is simply some grated cheese dumped on the side. No butter, no salad, no sauce (unless you pay extra). The side of frozen onion rings sets the plate of nicely though. Officially the worst burger I have ever had in my life.

Still one of the best pubs in Dundee, a bit quiet at lunchtime today, but food and service very good 😋👍

Came in for a late lunch. My chips and salad were lovely, but the small haddock was tiny. The batter was dark and soggy, and I had hairs in my food. I didn't complain in case one was mine, but I'm sure one was within the fish as I didn't see it before eating.

Had a lovely meal service and staff were very helpful and courteous would go back.

Didnt have food but i had a whiskey and a john smiths... the staff were froemdly and the atmosphere was good will defo go in shain next time im in dundee

This was the first time,but definitely not the last time I will be in this incredibly dicevingly bigger than it looks on the outside place.I walked in to a very friendly and cheery barmaid,who instantly made me feel welcome.It has a good range on offer,nice comfy seats,although some upholstery is needed on some of the booths.It even had an upstairs.Great vibes,give it a visit

I loved this pub. It's small enough to be more personal however, it's big enough to accommodate plenty of ppl. We didn't sample the food although it looked delicious with decent sized portions. I also loved how there were poems written by William McGonagall on the walls. The one about the 'coo' on yonder Hill is absolute genius imo 😂 I'm going up there again at Xmas & I'm looking forward to calling in again. Very nice pub ✌🏼

Hello there. Me and my family walked in last night and got told we had too much to drink and got asked to leave? The women who was at the bar didn’t even let us say one word. None of us were drunk this was the first pub we went into. The barman who was there was smirking and thinking it was funny. This isn’t the first time they have done this. I’ve seen this situation before Sorry we came in smiling and happy that’s clearly an issue

The latte was really bad, tasted like sweet milk. We also had panini sandwiches which were overpriced and nothing to write home about. Overall I would probably not recommend it for coffee.

The food was lovely with very reasonable portion sizes. Large range of lagers, whiskeys and other spirits. The woman that served us outside was kind, patient and more than happy to help us.

A traditional boozer. Excellent service, 80' and relaxed atmosphere in the afternoon. Busier at nights and weekends, with a bit of a buzz. Circular bar downstairs with additional seating upstairs. Very welcoming and highly recommended.

My last afternoon in Dundee - where to go? Tickety Boo's without question. It is one of the best bars in Dundee - no exaggeration. Lovely kind, helpful staff. Delicious food in big portions during the day. 80s/90s playlist. A big range of gin and whisky. You can even pop in for a coffee. Also lots of TVs if sport is your thing. The place is a "Fun-dee" institution!! Quote me 😍
