It has not been open long but had a fresh look to it. The menu was not very big but varied enough to suit everyone .We had fish and chips. It was breaded frozen fish. The portion was more than enough with chips and mushy peas. The plate was warm. Service was very friendly . Prices were very reasonable. I am looking forward to trying some homemade food next time.

This little place has not been open more than a few weeks but it was quite well frequented the short time we were in there. The décor is plain but fresh and clean looking. The menu was a good size with the typical café fare. Service was very friendly. We had fish and chips. The fish I think was frozen with a good coating and a more than adequate portion. Coffee was hot and plentiful. I think this place will have a lot of regular customers. Next time we will try some of the home cooking as that is usually quite good in these little places. I did notice a steady stream of take out customers and with the advertised prices I am sure that will continue.

There is a lovely community feel to this place . Always a warm welcome … friendly staff , tasty food and dog friendly. Today we had flat breads - one chicken , one fish - both were really good . We also had the salt and pepper fries which were very good . If I could fault anything I’d say the coffee could be better . I ordered a flat white but it tasted more like a weak latte . Still love the place though !

14 Manchester RoadI love Christmas dinner. The trimmings and the memories of growing up with the tradition. I have had a few Christmas dinners in the area and this was the best. They use real turkey, not the processed slices but the real bird. Moist with all the trimmings. The trifle and the mince pie with cream also went down very well. So sorry they do not serve it all year or as a special some times. .Price was great .

21 Market StreetEnjoyed our breakfasts, it's a shame they did not read the note I left about no mushrooms, we really do not like mushrooms in my house. Other than that the food was good
