this is the second time I've not received my applepie and custard not happy

Order every week. Always spot on no complaints. Will continue ordering every week 😃😃😃

Delivery was fast but no meat on the order as requested or stuffing.! So little disseminated..

food was lovely, BUT didnt get my applepie and cusdard very hard to get in touch to let them know

Plenty in each portion. Delivered well within their me. The food was packaged well meaning it arrived at a good temperature. Really enjoyed our first delivered carvery. Would definitely order again.

We did the Breakfast with Santa on Christmas Eve with my mum and my two nephews and it was truly amazing from start to finish! We went around 10am and they were busy but that never faulted the service or food! We were quickly sat down and then I went to the bar to order our food. Santa came around the tables while I was at the bar but he said he would come back as one of my nephews was with me. He stayed true to his word and even retuned another two times! My nephew has a nut allergy so Kim came over and showed us the allergen form and explained that they would cook everything from fresh for him. I stated what he would like and soon it came out all piping hot - she even gave him fresh cutlery from the kitchen! For buffet style, the food was always hot and being topped up and it was delicious! I haven’t rated some other Toby carvery’s in the past for the quality but this one has certainly changed my mind! Santa then returned and both of my nephews have autism so he was very respectful of this and the youngest one has overcome his fear of Santa! Thank you Santa (Chef Robert!) It was his first time but I do hope he does it next year as I will defo be returning! When we had finished we went to the grotto and the kids got some goody bags, we ended being the last ones there around 11:30am (when it ended) but they did not rush us at all! £30 for two adult breakfasts, a kids breakfast and two hot drinks is amazing value - especially as a lot of other places for breakfast with Santa rack the price up and try and rush you within an hour! Thank you so much again to Kim and Robert for their kindness, it did really make my Christmas and for the kids, can’t wait for next year and will be back soon for a roast!

Waited for over 20 minutes at the bar to be served. Seemed that the bar lady was just serving people she knew. Walked out and went elsewhere.

Not a bad place to visit. Went for lunch and all was ok.

Delivery was great but food was really disappointing. Meat was dry as leather and there were no roast potatoes.

Delicious food, fantastic location and excellent customer service. All staff was great throughout but special mention to Colin who went above and beyond to make sure our visit was nothing short of perfect.

colin brought out a candle with my cheesecake was very funny and the whole night was an amazing birthday to remember was a wonderful host much loved

Christmas eve and hardly a full table! Waiting staff didn't have a clue! Whom I'm assuming to be the manager had a disgusting attitude and should possibly insult the customers a little quieter so we don't hear him!

I had Colin as a server and he was so polite and was quick with his service, he brought drinks before we’d all even gotten up for our food and made sure deserts were delivered fast and added a candle for the birthday boy I greatly appreciate that he effort he want through to even make his birthday the slightest bit more special he loved it. Thank you Colin for your service it was greatly appreciated by all the party.

We was put in a conservatory out of the way to begin with on separated tables. When I booked the table I asked for 8 people all together. We was then moved to two booths again separate from each other. Food didn’t have any Lamb when we went up for our food but 10minutes after we went up it was on when we was eating our dinner. We booked our table for 12:00 and wasn’t allowed food until 12:30 which was highly disappointing as we had other arrangements. Over all highly disappointing. Overall, dirty grubby place over hanging lights have never been cleaned. Food wait was far too long. Wasn’t offered the full menu

The staff were excellent, quick service, great recommendations! The chef Kirsty recommended the Chocolate Fondant and it was so good we ended up ordering another 3 to the table! Colin was great talking through the gluten free options which meant my dad who is a coeliac didn't have to miss out! Vegan and vegetarian options too. Table of 14 and everyone had a good night and felt included. Couldn't recommend it enough! Thanks again to Kirsty, my main man Colin and Cameron. We went here for breakfast with Santa it was understandably busy but the staff were making a clear effort to make everyone's day they all did a great job. The Santa was brilliant with all of the children and was believable awesome job ! The chefs had done well to keep all of the food and topped up and get everyone through the que. The only thing I would say was the coffee was cold but again understandably with it being so busy the jug being taking of the heat so often. Great effort made by all Thank you my children loved it

Colin, Kirsty and Cameron were phenomenal. The service was impeccable, very helpful and very swift. The recommendations were spot-on, and the food was prepared to a good quality standard. They were all very helpful when accommodating for dietary restrictions, especially as a group of 14.

Very little meat included in this carvery. The order was for turkey and beef, what little beef was included was mainly fat. Won't order again

Nice place but why are eggs on breakfast so hard ? Never running eggs ? Why ? In Widnes every single time I can eat running fresh made eggs . Also no salt on each table. Why ?

Lovely carvery! Kelsey was very helpful and welcoming! The restaurant itself could do with a bit of a dust/ clean but didn’t really take away from the experience. We both enjoyed our food and time here.!

Tasty food but largely potatoes. The meat and veg tasted nice but it was over 50% potatoes. We appreciate the convenience and taste of the food though.

The mini pigs in blankets were missing and the Yorkshire was soggy.

We have been here several times and always had a great experience, tonight we were served by Kirsty who was absolutely lovely and looked after us really well, and our food was cooked by Big James - it was delicious! Thanks for another great experience!

Absolutely awful. Has to move 5 DIRTY plates off the pile. Food was barely warm. I eat here every few weeks and today is my last. Seems to it gone downhill since new managers took over. I watched a staff member clear a table and spray something over cutlery and leave them for use. He obviously doesn’t understand hygiene

We had Kelsey as our server this evening and was so patient with my niece, she said she was the loveliest woman and how nice she was to her. Would always recommend coming to waterside Toby Carvery. We visited for Breakfast , the sausages were well done , couldn’t even cut them . Some of plates were very well worn , in usable , had to look through the plates to find one that was ok to use . There was a guy on his phone on loud speaker , he should’ve put it to his ear . I didn’t really need to hear the full conversation. I wish I had said something to him . The music was mega loud we had to ask staff to turn it down , which they did . The staff were very friendly .

I had a carvey, it was tasteless and cold. I've been poorly all night after eating here. Children's menu they do nuggets, pasta but no chips ,if you order for your children be mindful to top up there plate you do so from the carvey, they mainly focus on the carvey they said .

Kelsey looked after us as always. Always smiling, polite and helpful. Food was good just had to wait for gravy which was disappointing. .

Food was lukewarm warm at best and the meat portion was shocking when you £15 the dish should be packed full of meat not all the fatty cuts will not order this again stay well away from

Staff pleasant carvery ok I had a crumble the custard was pityfull asked for more and was told that under half a serving boat was the portion size and I would have to pay extra if I want more The carvery looked tired the toilets were filthy would of preferred going to burger king

Love this place came along it by chance beautiful views across the lake food was lovely staff friendly and helpfull I will say though if u park in the carpark remember to put yr reg in at the pub or u will get a parking letter threw pub has hit or miss if they put the board explaining this I got hit with a fine the first time Kim's great

Had a lovely meal today Sunday evening with our family! The chefs serving us were polite and happy & the food was hot & nice. Our server (kelsey) looked after us & couldn't do enough for us she was lovely. Thank you for a fab experience!

Specifically requested at the point of booking, a proper table with chairs, not bench seating for my elderly mum's mobility - we where taken to bench seating??? The restaurant very tired and carpets not clean/sticky in places. The Waterside needs updating. No attention to detail re cleaning of tables / floors etc. Service slow. The veg was well below average, over cooked and tasteless. Which had been allowed to dry out under the hot lights but the Veg was not hot at all. No attention to detail, food did not look appetising - no care taken by the Chef/cooks. Meat selection good including the Lamb and tasty. Yorkshires not the best large tasteless with soggy bottoms. £14.95 not value for money based on the low quality of food . Toby Carvery needs to do better.

Slight negative were the pigs in blanket as they were not the best. Kelsey was fantastic and so helpful throughout our time dining. She is a credit to Toby Carvery.
