I had an amazing experience at this fish and chips restaurant! The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender and flaky on the inside. The chips were golden, crispy, and seasoned just right. The portions were generous, and everything was served piping hot. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I also loved the variety of dipping sauces available. Definitely one of the best fish and chips places I've been to. Highly recommend it to anyone craving fresh, delicious seafood.

Tom Bell Beckenham is without doubt the best fish and chips shop we have ever been to. The fish and chips are outstanding complete with a lemon slice! The family run staff are welcoming, congenial and warm. We stop by every week making our Saturday's something to really look forward to! Wow, such an amazing service from this Family run fish and chip shop for our Charity event on 19th October 2024. From the moment we arranged for the large event to be catered by Tom Bells Fish & Chip shop the service we received has been excellent. I would highly recommend using this family run business if you need a large function catered. The fish was delicious and everyone of our 130 guest event complimented the Fish & Chips. The delivery arrived at exactly the time we ordered it for and it was still hot once we served it to the guests. Thank you so much we cannot fault the servive we received. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😁👌👏

This is my local fish and chips. We love coming here for a quick snack after school or for our bigger buys dinner. We eat the chips, cod bites, large cod, sausages, chicken and even cheese burger… nearly everything! Highly recommend

Yummy fresh food and friendly staff! I went to Tom Bell a few months ago and had the best experience I could’ve asked for! I had my support dog with me and the amazing shopkeeper and his mum, instead of kicking us out, which often happens when you’ve got a dog, bought Bear a massive chew treat! Not only did I get to enjoy their great quality traditional fish and chips takeaway but my dog left happy too. Thank you guys :)

This is how fish and chips should be! Fish tastes of the sea, batter is delicious. My friend says its the best Fish and Chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce he has ever eaten. Tutku and Ozer are a welcoming and professional husband and wife team, 33 years in the business. Service with a smile.

Best fish n chips have had for years! Beautifully fresh fish perfectly cooked with thin crispy batter, not swimming in oil. chips were amazing as well, soft and creamy in the middle and actually tasted of potato and not cooking oil, added bonus was the tartare sauce and slice of lemon. Quality fish n chips , the care taken is proof in the eating! Well done Tom Bells 👍

Delicious fish and chips. Fresh fish, tasty chips and polite staff in a clean setting. A nice table for four inside at no extra change, if you would prefer to eat in.

I had cod fish and chips at Tom bell’s Beckenham and I tell you it was delicious just perfect not too oily, I ate everything. I would normally remove the coating but this one ?! No way, it was too good. If you haven’t tried this place, I say go for it!!! 👍🏾

Lovely every time I come in, the people are so friendly and I always have a lovely chat to Ertu. The wings are delicious and the cod bites are my favourite by far. You’re never waiting to long and they always make you comfortable!!

Since I moved to the UK 5 years ago I have always refused to try fish and chips, partly because I am not too fond of fried fish (I find it dry) and partly because i was too busy making my way through shawarma house, pie shops, street food and pub food. tonight i decided to jump the step -and do i feel stupid to have waited all this time to try my first fish and chips!! Not only the fish was not dry at all, it was flavourful, perfectly salted, the skin was nice and crispy and after eating I didn’t feel like I had eaten something oily (which considering the amount I ate was impressive). The calamari were also excellent. I wasn’t too keen on the battered sausage but my English partner thought it was ‘the best he’s ever eaten’ so that also excellent- happy boyfriend happy life. Since it’s my first time ordering of a chippy I didn’t understand that you had to order chips separately- but it wasn’t a problem at all as they offered me some chips on the house. It was given to me with a very sweet note and I am very thankful that considering they amount I ordered they understood it was a roomy mistake. They have definitely won a faithful customer, with a new found obsession for fish and chips!

I come here almost every week to the point I had to tell my friends and even my family to come try it. The food is cooked so well, you have such freshly cooked chips to the perfect crunch in the fish (that’s is 10/10 highly recommended) or the chicken as well. I personally love their fish and if your thinking to get something to eat I would 100% recommend as it’s less than £10 per person when getting a meal!!
