Tony's Diner in Shropshire

Lovely little diner, friendly chatty staff and the open log fire was a big plus for me on a cold January day.

We had to wait 55 minutes for the worst burger and chips I have ever had ,absolutely disgusting avoid this place ,

Nice, clean, friendly staff and atmosphere, great food

Popped in during December for a breakfast sandwich and cappuccino. Real open fire was on and heated up the place lovely. Food and coffee was cooked fresh and tasted delicious. Will visit again.

Pass it regularly but never stopped until today. Today after a visit to Cromer Wood took my wife and grandaughter there. It was lovely. Great food and really friendly staff. Highly recommended and will be back! We did come back today! Same friendly service and lovely food, beautifully cooked .

We visited this diner and ordered 2 deluxe breakfasts. Excellent quality, very good value and polite service. Will definitely return in future if in vicinity.

Really good staff. Approached us at the start when we walk in for menu then left us to sort out what we wanted. We did have a big group 3* adults 5 kids eating. Food was quick and really nice. One slight mistake with the burger but was rectified very quickly; will be there again soon.

Great food freshly cooked while you wait. Cannot get better than that. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Cold breakfast, long wait. I love full English but damn... Sausages and bacon could be put back on the pig. Oink oink. Hash browns cold and soggy. Staff seem very nice though.

Always worth a stop Good honest food and drink

Used to always go here but never again when we arrived we asked if they still did chilli on the menu we were told yes then waited 20min at the counter to be served while the Young lad made 2 coffees payed £28.00 for chilli and chips and 2 coffee's sat down with drinks to be told 10min after there was no chilli asked for money back customer service rubbish and the place smells of grease never again

Have driven past this place many times for years and today decided to give it a go as it was late afternoon and we had half a hour to kill before our next delivery, dare I say we were both extremely impressed, the premises were immaculate with plenty of inside seating with stunning views from the large windows. The two young lads behind the counter were very welcoming, my colleague has sausage, chips and curry sauce and I just had a coffee. Everything was cooked to order and I must say the chips were some of the best we have ever tasted, they were not greasy and cooked to perfection. No doubt we will be using Tony’s Diner again very soon, thanks guys 5*

Great food served By pleasant staff who bend over backward for your every request.

Chicken curry and chips was very nice as was the fish and chips. Wish the open fire had been burning to warm the dining area.

Basic roadside cafe serving excellent meals 😋 All cooked to order at a reasonable price. We always stop there on our travels. Highly recommended 👌!!

Asked upon arrival if the cafe is dog friendly only to be told in no uncertain tone, no sorry it's not or anything but a sharp no you can go and sit outside. Excuse me it's winter time and 1 degree outside so no thank you. Went over the road and had the most amazing all day breakfast and inside with the dog in the warm.

Great little cafe, food her was really nice and the staff where friendly and helpful. Cafe has great views from the rear window over looking the countryside and the river severb,well worth a vist for a quick bite or a proper slap up breakfast

Not the best would the eggs on my breakfast where hard the bacon look like it had been microwave bake beans look like they had been cooking for 4 hours and to top it off the staff are rude and you feel you are back at school putting yourhandu to ask a question. J

Nice full English breakfast, it was busy so a bit of a wait , only issue is I ordered fried bread and was given toast , not the end of the world but I mentioned it to the waitress, the look of horror on her face was priceless, she must have taken my question as a personal insult, having said all this I would eat at Tony's again just won't order fried bread

What an absolutely lovely team at Tony's Diner. We arrived as a large group and were shown such courtesy and manners from all of the staff and the owner. They were only too happy to change a couple of the orders as well. A great atmosphere and the food was absolutely excellent. We had such a lovely time. Wood highly recommend.

I love the breakfast here, unfortunately I've not been here for a while but returning today I know what I've been missing, Cooked perfectly as always by the lovely young lady who is always so polite and upbeat - Absolutely perfect - I'll definitely be back soon 🍽️👌👍

Saw all day breakfast sign, pulled in. Great warm friendly greeting, food was hot, freshly cooked, very tasty. Good variety on menu, and nothing was too much trouble , staff were exceptional. Easy parking, nice and clean. Food tasty. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Stayed here over night in motorhome food was delightful

Cosy with a lovely view & delightful staff. A bit odd that greasy breakfast doesn't come with any coffee, but you can get a fancy coffee (plus biscuit!! Oooh) if needed. I think it fits poorly with the format that coffee means +35% cost on your order though. Frankly I would rethink it and add a Gregg-style basic coffee option with meals.

It’s a very nice place with friendly staff and everything but it caters to a rather poor quality - cheap white bread, cheap quality sausages etc - but then the prices are cheap too. It’s fine if you’re happy with that.

My husband always stops here for a break when out and about on his motorbike great food reasonably priced

Service was mainly self service and took a while to come. Condiment containers not clean. Coffee was awful.

Excellent value from a lovely bubbly friendly staff. Very nice breakfast facilities clean and a splendid view. Nothing is too much trouble, not my first visit and will not ve my last. Thank you Tony!

A cracking breakfast and brilliant staff in a great location with views over the Severn valley. Good food throughout the day and evening in fact. Every bit as good second and third visits.

Great breakfasts. All freshly cooked and piping hot. We had to wait 15 mins for food but it was definitely worth the wait.

Never been here before and probably won't bother again. Price you pay for breakfast I would expect qaulity, only thing that wasn't too bad was the bacon, abit of a tastless breakfast but ah well you live and learn, May I suggest you have table numbers for the staff so you don't have to put your hand up like at school 🤣🤣 as staff seem to walk right past you

Don't let the dated decor put you off if anything it shows they spend money on the food. Speaking of; the food was cooked perfectly. Hands down the nicest chips I've had in ages, crispy and fresh. Prices were good too

Known the owners years . lovely people . Really nice fish and chips .lots of seats indoors. lots of other food on the menu. Great in the nice weather. out side seating to .lots of parking spaces. Our Staffordshire bull terrier loved it . Too. Pets outdoors only .

Chip shop dine in or take out. Food good. Staff friendly, and polite. Put 4 for atmosphere as depends on who you go with. Very clean and no-one itching to get you to leave. Very relaxed on this. Good sized area to park.

Always a fan off tonis cafe however thought we'd try the Sunday dinner wot a mistake that's let this place down so disappointed with the quality of the meat sliced screwed up pork not a joint just pork fatty slices same with the beef ,not sure if the other meat has gone down hill on other days as we haven't been for a while . This is a non frills cafe with lovely staff but it was still not good enough for a dinner same price you can have a fab dinner at the downs Inn with the most fantastic meat in the world sorry guys .

Nice friendly place to eat, clean & tidy. Toilets are yet to be desired and very small to get in & out of the cubicle, needs updating as quite dingy. Overall 8/10

Never went in, but phoned to check if they were dog friendly...sadly they are not, so won't get my custom or any other dog owner I know! Most cafes in bridgenorth are dog friendly...so spend your money elsewhere 👍

As mentioned by another person the decor is a bit historic... but this is a classic diner not something pretending to be one. Good, honest food in generous portions and at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for good home cooked food. Friendly staff as well.

We called in on Sept 2 morning time on route too Telford We both had a full English Breakfast ...A lot of it there was as well Everything cooked perfectly ...Didn't have to eat anything till the evening Two Eggs Bacon Black Pudding Beans tomatoes Hash Brown's Mushrooms Toast or Fried Bread Will call again on passing by

Visited Tony's diner on two occasions this past week for breakfast and a brew. The food is lovely, and the staff are very accomodating. Definitely worth a visit if you're visiting Quat.

Don't expect it to look like a diner, it's a caff! Like any good caff the food is good and very reasonably priced - so far their prices haven't changed. You order your food at the til and it is delivered to your table. I highly recommend the breakfasts which are served all day and are the main reason I visit this place.

Favourite Cafe in the world ! My go to for breakfast. Today was a brunch with mama which we thoroughly enjoyed , we were even given complimentary coffees by the lovely Mr Tony himself(thankypu Mr Tony!) ( as you have guessed we are regulars!) really warm environment and a lovely place and even when its busy you still feel very well looked after and leave full! Staff are great , food is perfection ! Exactly what you expect everytime !

Always a pleasure to visit Tony's. Staff are pleased to see us and look after us well...opening doors for wheelchair access and helping us to get in. Food is good and cooked to order so always hot.
