Tortilla in Islington

Had a juicy burrito from here today was so good flavours on point and also really good service from this young lady all I remember is her name began with p, think she was polish. Sorry if I’m wrong but yes burrito was 10/10. Highly recommended 👍

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tortilla and I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service by Patrycja . From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and made sure I felt welcome. They took the time to explain the menu and offered great recommendations, which I truly appreciated. As for the burrito, it was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. You could tell they put a lot of care into making it. The whole experience, from the friendly service to the amazing food, made my visit memorable. I’ll definitely be back for another fantastic meal!

Missing items half empty boxes never again nice driver though

The prices seem to be abstract. Me and a friend ordered similar things, however were charged different prices despite the main bases being the same. The service before was great but now I find my orders being mixed up, or incorrect.When charged it seems the server can’t give a direct price. 🧐

I ordered through the Too Good To Go platform and, theoretically, this bowl is supposed to be worth £13, the food doesn't even fill half the bowl. I don't know about others, but I wouldn't pay that price for what was essentially 90% rice and beans with sauce. This is what they consider a “£13 vegetarian option”

First visit but friendly staff talked me through ordering. Bit of a struggle starting the burrito as it was a beast of a thing. Managed it though.

It was my first experience in there, and actually the food was amazing and tasty…. And also the services was very much satisfying…. I had ordered a naked burritos and it was really good…i had noticed one employee in there, i think his name was abdul, he provided me a superb service in there and also guide me everything in for payment process I am so excited to go there again and also the atmosphere was really fantastic.

I got the quesadillas and it was burnt. It did smell like burned but they still gave me that. I understand that it is not fine dining or anything but I have bought from them before usually its a easy meal which tasty also but I was very disappointed today cuz That was my lunch and I couldn’t even eat it as it was burnt

Ordered a burrito to take away my server was Abdul super polite and professional super happy with the service .

Bland. Nothing wrong with the service, good portion size but this place shares the common problem that food is tasteless. My burrito had cheese, salsa, pork along with the mexican rice and I couldn't taste any of it.

First off I received the wrong order which I wasn’t happy with. The order that I did get was a chicken burrito, with no chicken inside. Also very bland tasting. Poor service.

Today was my first visit at Tortilla, and the man who served me was very nice. He patiently answered all of my questions about the ingredients in the rice and sauces and even told me which type of rice is the most popular. Thanks to his helpfulness, I was able to choose a burrito that I enjoyed. He provided excellent customer service and was very helpful throughout the process.

Have been a couple of times before over the years, but got food poisoning from most recent occasion (7 July)

I selected “order again” assuming it would be the same order as last time and I was sent an order with no ingredients! Just rice and pork!! Nothing else! What’s the point of having this option if it’s not the same as previous order? I paid £15 for a small portion of rice and pork!

Amazing authentic Mexican flavours. Great service, they even asked if I wanted corn tortillas (which I did because they’re awesome!

The food was disappointing. Barely any chicken, no cheese, hardly any sour cream.

Burrito was OK, a bit light on meat considering the price. Restaurant did no include my Queso Fundido which I was looking forward to try as part of the combo meal which I paid for; I was fortunate I was able to get a refund for the missing item from Just Eat, but ONLY because I had ordered another different side, otherwise I would have had to have tried to have claimed back the whole meal as Just Eat have a woeful 'Problem with your order' automated system that cannot track component parts of of a combo meal. Delivery driver was very quick, polite, and took time to search his bag again for the missing item, which was not in the main bag. 4/10 restaurant 6/10 Just Eat 10/10 delivery driver. First order, I will not be returning since they are unable pack and process a simple order.

Cool little tortilla and burrito place in Islington. Great for pre-gig food. I should have tried the hot salsa because the medium was mild for me. Chicken and pinto beans inside served with tortilla chips. Meal deal is £11. Excellent. Friendly service. Many thanks.

I am not a review guy ,but I guess this place deserves one. I am always a fan of their burritos, especially the beef which is just AMAZING! alongside their frozen margaritas, making the the perfect pair ever. Service wise, compared to many places, i would say they have really amazing service ,everyone seemed to be joyful and giving a good vibe and love what they doing (which you don't see that often in London), manager was helpful answering my queries, so yeah ,lovely place ,definitely must try👌

Firstly, there’s no pork. There were 2 people serving and 2 people in the queue and it took me about 20 minutes to get my burrito. Some of the dead slowest service I’ve ever had. Was so unhappy to spend so much time waiting for an average burrito

Food was decent but not enough chicken to justify the price of the burrito which is disappointing as I've come here many times before and gotten more.

In case you are expecting an actual California burrito, there are no French fries! Solid burrito though. Don’t ask for rice on your salad you’ll get attitude instead.

Really enjoy Tortilla. But every time I’ve ordered food from this location they’ve forgotten an item or just given us a different item to what we ordered. Shame.

I recently visited this restaurant and had the pleasure of trying their delicious naked burrito. The flavors were amazing, and the portion size was generous. What made my experience even better was the excellent service provided by Abdul. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure that everything was perfect throughout my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for the tasty naked burrito and the fantastic staff like Abdul who make dining here a delightful experience.

The house style guacamole and cheese tickled my pickle just right, lovely service from wonderful servers and good quality house style chips

Food arrived cold, quality wasn’t fantastic either, I heated it up in the microwave but it just doesn’t taste good, a thing paper bag is pretty useless insulation

I went this morning to tortilla in angle for my first time, I orderd a burrito and it was delicious, I like the way the team explain everything about their products, I also sign up for their loyalty club card. Definitely will come back

The food is just amazing, great service and always when ever I go I receive a big welcome from the staff, the team always creating a nice atmosphere.

Tiny place but good food and amazing staff

I ordered a chicken burrito and a chicken quesadilla for takeaway. The food was tasty, but the portions were very small, especially the quesadilla, considering I ordered large portions. So in that respect, it is was disappointing.

So good! I would order again next time!

For London a decent price for portion, but nothing exceptional. Be aware of 'add ons' which can seriously dent your purse. Restaurant has seating inside, with vegans catered for if you make a point of saying.

It’s my fav place to have a healthy filling dinner. Today was made especially fun by Ash at Tortilla Islington who provided excellent service with some great,polite conversation. Definitely recommend coming here and it’s really because of Ash’s service that I got around to writing a review today.

It was such a nice experience, the staff was happy working there they were engaging and made us feel at home. The manager was very welcoming and checked on us after we finished, the portions were more than decent and food was delicious. We will come back.

This specific Tortilla is amazing - I regular go to tortilla but this is the best one I’ve been to. Both the day & night staff are phenomenal and such hardworkers! Always feels refreshing to come here!

There's something about this place, maybe the vibe or the people who run it. I have always loved coming here for the tortilla. Although I genuinely believe food quality can improve but they definitely have a culture of service which I admire. For ex today I had a tough day at work and their manager Ash had a chat with us and it felt it's okay. I think it's quality of people like Ash that I'd come here again. World needs more people like Ash and more brands like Tortilla for the culture they have built!

Wow! Fantastic. Very similar to Qdoba or Chipotle if you are familiar with those concepts. I thought the pork seasoning was better than those USA chains. We will go back before we leave town. $34 for three large burritos. Fair pricing for what you get.

The chicken tasted like it was old so avoided eating it. but overall I've not enjoyed the last few orders from tortilla. they've maybe changed the recipe or something but it's not as balanced as it used to be, flavour wise.

Great little branch, food was good, and practically inhaled it in a second. It's convenient from where I work, too!

They forgot half my food, and to top it all off they put the cold drink cans on top of the food which made the food cold and squashed!!! I still haven’t received my refund. Avoid this place.

Chicken tastes of fish, I think it’s off

Second time of new tall thin guy serving me take out .Hate it He has no desire to be there .No smile ,hardly looked.at me ,mumbles choices of fillings . The other guys there were really nice encluding a great helpful one with a reddish beard .The miserable one will cause me to leave as a customer .I have been coming since it opened . He is tall ,no facial hair and no eye contact .Really bad for your shop .

Dont order with deliveroo or uber eats. They dont put in the burritos or salad any toppings. Forgot all my drinks and sides and the package wasn't properly sealed. Incredibly expensive for such poor taste and service.

For the second time in a row we ordered from this restaurant on deliveroo and instead of bowls we got sent burritos. We really like the food here but the service needs improving cause everyone can make mistakes but if it keeps happening it means either the system or the staff is bad
