I should have read the reviews first! I waited 2 hours and 20 minutes for my food. I called after 1 hour and a half and the kind lady told me it was ready and would on the way with the driver within 3 minutes. I called again 30 minutes later and was told by a man that the order was not there so must be on the way. His attitude was not at all friendly and genuinely not interested about my order. When my order finally arrived the driver just handed me the bag and walked away. Food. Edible but not what I would expect after waiting over 2 hours for the food and did not have an authentic taste/feel at all. Overall very disappointed with this from all aspects.

Today I tried curry goat from Tropics and it was delicious 😋 and I loved it. Delicious Food means "TROPICS GRILL"🫶

Amazing food and amazing service. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our order - particularly Kay on the counter, thank you for your service. Went above and beyond. If you want good food, this is the place to go!

Today I order Fried chicken salad and curry goat from them and the food is amazing and service is best definitely recommend to all foodie’s ❤️❤️❤️

Best Caribbean food in west London ❣️

Placed big order for collection, upon collection could see all food was going into microwave, was not fresh! mac and cheese was very very salty and greasy i could not eat it,went in the bin. Mutton was very tough and dry NOT FRESH and am extremely disappointed because i had better experience with Caribbean food and this was not the one!! Have ordered oxtail from here also last year and that was also tough and dry , the meat is supposed to fall off the bone and be soft so this is ridiculous.

Today I ordered a large amount of food worth £95 most of the food went in the bin. They messed up half of the order, in a couple of the jerk chicken wraps there were bones. Spoke to the manger about it who had the worst attitude and customer service. Would not recommend going here absolutely disgusting and very poor service. Also the manger contacted me in the evening about my issues and because he suspects one of us left the negative review he proceeded to talk down to me and tell me off and because I refused to listen to him belittle me he refuses to deal with me with MY order. At this rate and stress this company has put on me and the rest of the customers that ordered their revolting food and attitude I am definitely considering going to the food health and safety inspector about this

Ordered a jerk chicken wrap meal.. shocking! Giant sharp chicken bone in the wrap, cold chips the whole lot went in the bin. Waste of money, will not be ordering again.

Delivery time was ridiculous & food quantities even worse. Gone right downhill. Won't be using them again.

This has got to be the worst delivery service and sub par customer service. Waiting over 2 hours and the food still hasn’t come is ridiculous. Save your money and don’t even bother ordering from them. If only I could give 0 stars.

Fish was an absolute joke swimming in oil . I’m actually shocked they served that to me . I’m disgusted. I will not be coming back again and I know at least 11 people that went there before. I will be send the pics to them

I ordered jerk chicken, rice and peas, red pea and chicken soups on three occasions. Delivery of food was fast and quality of food was good.

The food wasn’t really hot and The vegetable pattie was so hard. You could fully taste the flour in The fried dumplings.

The soup was obviously reheated but not properly as the broth was lukewarm and food in it was stone cold.

ordered at 17.23 the time kept going up for delivery finally arrived at 18.50...paid £6.00 for delivery...I won't be doing that again

Just ordered a deliveroo order, crispy chicken wrap, Rasta pasta, plantain, and mac and cheese. Waited an hour and a half for this food, which is fine if it was decent quality. The mac and cheese is just a warm congealed slab, that looks as it its been microwaves but you cannot pull it apart at all, the fried chicken wrap, the chicken is dry, not one part of it crispy, full of oil, no flavour and soggy. The plantain and Rasta pasta was ok, but I've had much better. Will not be ordering again, shame.

Food was delivered late, the food was cold, the brown stew chicken wasn’t cooked properly and chicken was red, the festival and dumpling was hard and tasted stale, the macaroni cheese was extremely salty and oily. So disappointed!!!

order was really late yet agsin. i have ordered a couple of times before every delivery is very very late. 2 hours etc. wont be ordering again. make a complaint and they refuse to give any money back. call restaurant they have no idea what time delivery will be. DONT ORDER FROM HERE. VERY EXOENSIVE TOO

Not only did they not deliver the food but they lied on deliveroo and confirmed delivery! We waited 2hrs for this food the service is shocking we are 3.2miles away and the order was confirmed at 11.55am. Service is everything this has left a bad taste in my mouth considering the food was great the 1st time we ordered. Four people without lunch at work as we called twice to be told the delivery was enroute!!!! In future just tell the truth!!! 3pm order still has not arrived

At 13:55 the order update showed as DELIVERED when I didn’t even receive my order. The estimated delivery was between 13:35 and 13:55. Since I don’t have my food yet I rang the restaurant at 13:55 who said they keyed in the wrong button and are still awaiting driver to collect the food. How convenient at the closing window of the estimated order time! I would like a full refund due to the false info provided by the restaurant on the app. NB at 14:09-still waiting for my food.

I’ve ordered here a few times now. The food is good but the chef needs to ease off on the salt. Nobody loves seasoning more than me, but this is next level salt. I actually stopped ordering the rice and peas because it’s salty (I only order the plain white rice). The last time I ordered the jerk chicken it was dry, not freshly made and salty (stopped ordering this too and I just stick to oxtail). The food has flavour, please just reduce the salt (a bit)…Also, ordered the jerk chicken Rasta pasta, it was full of oil, soggy, salty, and definitely not freshly made. I will order again with hopes the chef will see this and make improvements. I like the food but please fresh food, less salt, less oil and I’ll be back.

Gave this a go for the first time yesterday. Really big portions, driver was friendly and was delivered earlier than expected. Food was great, v impressed all round. Will def be ordering again

I ordered food from this restaurant as it came recommended. The service from start to finish was excellent. The helped with talking through the menu and what I needed. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. From start to finish a great experience and I will be using then again for definite.

This is the best Caribbean food I’ve had the curry goat meat was so tender and delicious, the jerk chicken was so nice and smoky. The service was 10/10 they were so nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend this place.

I have been a regular customer at Tropics for a long time. The food here is AMAZING! I remember Sundays at my Grandparents in sunny Jamaica eating jerk chicken and sipping fruit punch. Tropics food taste exactly the same! The chef really knows her craft. The food is well seasoned and always taste fresh. On occasions, I had to wait longer for my food as it was still on the stove cooking! And their portions are large. They are a busy shop and cover a large area for deliveres and I know somebody ordering food from them 8 miles away as the quality of food is so on point. They also did catering for my friends work place and the feedback after the event was great. Everybody enjoyed their lunch meals. Highly recommend!

Amazing service & very fast delivery

The Caribbean food served here is hands down simply outstanding. I live in central London & have access to a vast incredible range of restaurants of which are some of the best of what London has to offer, yet whenever I return to visit mum’s we always without fail order my favourite Caribbean dishes from Tropics Grill & Bites. Ive ordered from several places in central & nothing comes close to the authentic tasty food served here & I have been coming here now for some years. Nevertheless mum still lives quite far from Tropics Grill & Bites and we really appreciate that they cover a vast area and I don’t have to collect the food and drive back! This is possibly the reason why some people below have commented negatively & experienced long waiting times as when food travels a long distance you may have to wait longer! (Laws of Physics!) & may need to slightly reheat which I personally don’t mind as the food is authentic flavoursome & delicious, Thanks guys for always looking after us

Haven’t received my order been waiting for over 2 hours 18 mins . No communication whatsoever or any update on the food. This is ridiculous and unprofessional.

What can I say, waited over 2hrs for a delivery order at £43.00 for 3 people, the driver Jake was nice and gave us a £10 discount coz of the wait, BUT being a caribbean we expected better, the rice was hard and too many kidney beans, the curry was tasteless as was the oxtail, will not be going there again, best to COOK MYSELF

Where do I start, I fancied a carribean meal some jerk and curry mutton I ordered over uber eats, first off this is where the negatives begin. The delivery from order to recieveing took over 90 minutes. 90 minutes where you can't see their order as they deliver in house, 90 minutes where me nor even uber could get in contact with them to find out an update. Then when I revieved my order I found a tub of what I can only describe some bland, congiled mac and cheese that they microwaved for 10 minutes before leaving it to go cold and then giving it to me. Photo has been attached. Next the jerk chicken while actually rather nice was let down with the fact it's cold, dry and tough rather like it's been smothered in sauce and warmed in a microwave and then still left to go cold before arriving to me. Next the curry mutton this is probably the only thing I can praise about this it was tender and had loads of flavour and was WARM! The rice and peas sadly let it down even further tasting like they were a day old or had been sat there for hours allowing it to just go dry while also being undercooked. Overall if you did have to eat here plan well in advance and expect to wait a long time and the only thing I can currently recommend is the mutton. Other than that avoid the mac and cheese at all costs

Door was 40min (1hour from earliest delivery) late. After calling calling restaurant and being told driver had left 10/15min again driver didn't arrive for another 35min, drive time from restaurant is 17min. Had to call restaurant 6 times and send message, they only answered twice
