Best burgers in town. Efficient and friendly service. As a local I wouldn't go anywhere else for fast food in Hunstanton.

We grabbed some hot dogs and chips from here for a quick bite while we were exploring Hunstanton. My husband and I had the sausage and my daughter had the frankfurter. We shared some chips. They were out of mayo. The onions on the hot dog weren’t soft like they should be so tasted quite strong. The sausage was dry and overcooked, solid at the ends! The chips were undercooked and still hard in the middle. My daughter said the frankfurter was OK. There are probably much better stalls than this one. Wouldn’t eat from here again.

It was a hot day, I needed tea, my friend something cold. We saw this place nearby and received what we asked for at a reasonable price. Would certainly use again when next in Hunstanton

Really rude staff. The food was as unpleasant as the woman who served us! I really would suggest that you stay clear of this place - the smell is likely to put you off - shame we didn't heed this advice!

Shame to see the reviews Tubbies are receiving. I’ve bought my Dad here for many years and he always looks forward to a good Tubbies burger, hot dog or sugary doughnut. Never had an issue with them and will continue being a returning customer 👍

Stand-alone brick chip shop in the traditional style in a convenient and prominent position on Hunstanton prom. The chips are good but everything else can be hit or miss. On account of the chips alone, we’ve been visiting Tubbies frequently for 20 years and neither of the proprietors has ever once cracked a smile. It’s an edgy experience to be honest. We’d often wondered what might happen if we ever complained about something! Today we found out. I mentioned a minor thing and got a dual-chorus over reaction of ‘computer says no.’ So we think our loyalty is deserving a new home now.

Chips and curry sauce from here is lovely, not your typical chip shop curry sauce but it’s great. Yesterday we had to wait around 5 mins at the front of the Q for a bottle of water, which isn’t great in the sun. I have also noticed they don’t clean the tables, which is off putting with COVID

The first time in years I have had a hot beef burger that I had to blow on to cool down! So many Chain outlets sell tepid takeaways, Visited Tubbies on a friends recommendation and ordered a double beef burger with onions . Lovely and hot, good quality burger, on a Sunday afternoon . This will be my go to place from now on . Worth queuing for. Only the locals know about this place. Busy for a reason.

Food was cold, so unsure of quality.. watched the driver on the app go the wrong way, and when he passed my house after 10 minutes leaving Morrisons, food would have been warm. I messaged to say he had passed the house, then a further 10 minutes he arrived with the cold food… not happy 🥺

Best in Norfolk if you ask me. Never go anywhere else for my king prawn curry, and the kids love the chips and curry sauce :))

Made to feel like a leper when we walked in by I assume locals just staring. My 13 year old daughter left the door open, to which one of them got up and slammed the door. Was told they'd put 2 small round tables together in the middle of the room for three of us. Felt so uncomfortable we left. Was just like the scene in American werewolf in London, amazed someone wasn't playing darts. Avoid, go to one of the chips shops instead!

Perfect place for a short sea escape get away to unwind. Sea front location, fantastic, warm and cosy quiet room with comfortable beds, fresh good food and the most important very welcoming staff! We stayed with my daughter here to celebrate her 16th birthday and we felt welcomed from the start. In our room there were waiting a surprise gifts for her with balloon included! and staff didn’t want me to pay for it. On the evening there was a nice entertainment, singing group in the traditional, well kept pub downstairs and in the morning we got a good selection of breakfast, we opted for a full English breakfast. Definitely I really recommend The Wash & Tope for a sea escape. We will come back. Thank you!!!
