We were celebrating a family birthday. The food was excellent. A wonderful selection of starters followed by perfect beef, chicken and vegetables. The service from the young waitress was impeccable. I have to say we could not fault anything with our evening. Highly recommended

Went with a group of friends for dinner on Sunday night. Really lovely food and such good value. Great service from the lovely, smiley waitress too. Not the poshest of places, but that's made up for by food. Will definitely be back.

Ordered a takeaway from Tuk Tuk today and it was amazing! We ordered the steamed pork wonton, bbq ribs and tuk tuk selection to start (big family meal) and every single item tasted delicious. Mains were Pad KraPao Chicken (30), Pad PrikThaiDum Prawn (35) and Sauce Peanut BellyPork (36) - again all beautiful! If you like spicy then the Pad KraPao Chicken is so good! We went to collect the order and it wasn’t quite ready but the staff were so lovely and made sure we were comfortable and seated whilst we waited (5 mins wait only), very polite and hospitable and would love to go back there to eat in again - haven’t eaten in the restaurant for a while but definitely will be doing soon. Restaurant was busy and food still outstanding and service equally matched!

I ordered mix starter Pad Thai Chicken and pasta kee Mae beef. The starters were dry and tastless but this was made up for by the mails drowned in sauce . Could of been a vegetarian dish with only 3 or 4 pieces of meat in each dish......Could do better.

I have been here a couple of times and the food and service are always excellent. The staff are friendly and the food is brilliantly cooked and flavoured. They do take away/ delivery too. Would definitely recommend.

Came here for a family meal and the staff went above and beyond! The food was absolutely perfect and the staff were so welcoming and kind. A 10/10!!!

Had a lovely meal here. The staff were very helpful and the food amazing. Ask for the vegetable tempura - it's not on the menu but if they are not too busy they will cook it for you. The vegetables are really fresh and freshly cooked! We enjoyed the rest of our meal too, especially number 33 with prawns - again full of very fresh, beautifully cooked ingredients.

I had a seafood Pad Thai tonight, I'm so disappointed I nearly threw it in the bin part way through. I waded through so, so many noodles waiting to get any seafood. There were two prawns and hardly anything else. Awful value for money and not very appetising.

I ordered food using just eat , got the email saying food on its way, 1hr later no food. Rang to find out where the order was up to and told it hadn’t been processed. Very disappointed, service terrible won’t be ordering food again

We used to go to Tuk Tuk Thai a couple of years ago , we ordered a takeaway tonight during lockdown. It was awful , I actually had to leave the room as the smell and look of it was terrible. I had duck stir-fry, it was a slimy mess. The rest of the family binned there's as well. Never again.

A brilliant takeaway from Tuk Tuk. We got a sui mai starter followed by prawn pad thai and chicken cashew. I tried the coconut rice too and it was delicious. I’m very impressed with quality and quantity of the food, look at those king prawns in the photo! Usually takeaways give you diddy prawns but not here. Super, so tasty, will order again and have already recommended to family.

Sorry, no photos but had another fabulous meal here recently. Chose the set menu, there were four of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, as always. Lovely little Thai restaurant and I love supporting the local independent businesses. Looking forward to our next visit soon, we’ve precooked already!

Four of us meet here every two months for Sunday lunch. Even though we now live 45 minutes away, this is still our favourite place to meet up and enjoy the 2 £15 set menus. The food is freshly prepared and the starter platter beautifully presented - everything is always delicious. By the way, the staff are lovely, too! Definitely worth a visit.

I'm so happy we found this place!Tuk Tuk Thai is amazing! From the food to the service they truly have got it spot on.We dine here weekly now and order a lot from them using their takeaway service to. The team are so friendly and you can really see it's a little family orientated business. I highly reccomend their stir fried dishes or green curry as its absolutley delicious. We love here so much and are so happy to have found this little gem!I have to mention its beyond excellent value for money.I've never had no problems in regards to the quality of their food or the waiting time! Should be called Yuk Yuk Thai. Foods awful. Starters were tasteless and the noodles tasted sweet as did the curry. NEVER AGAIN

Ordered food from here as a take away! Waited 1hr 30mins, rang up to see where our order was to be told they have forgotten about our order and it hasnt even been made. If we hadn't of phoned we would still be sat here waiting! Joke!!!

I have eaten here with my wife a couple of evenings before but today was my first time for a lunch with 2 old friends of mine.The food we had was outstanding, really top notch with really good large portions.My 2 friends are regular thai restaurant visitors but they and I rate the Tuk Tuk Thai very highly. The service is very good.No disappointments whatsoever.

Loved everything about this place. Staff are lovely and everything we ordered was amazing - papaya salad and fishcakes were especially good. Mains come with a choice of meat or seafood, including seabass or scallops. Portion sizes are generous - we got a couple of leftover noodle dishes boxed up to take home and they were even better the next day.

Tuk Tuk Thai is one of our favourite restaurants not only in Wallasey but the whole of Merseyside.

We are both fans of Thai food. Good delivery option. Plenty of menu choices, not the cheapest, but the taste and variety makes it worthwhile. Particularly like the noodle, curry and sticky rice.

We are regular customers and have previously enjoyed the food but this evening was pants. 30 minutes late for delivery, so we called and were told he was just around the corner. 10 mins after that he was apparently parking up. We told them to leave it as it was so late and the food would be cold. They offered us 20% off next time and when I suggested they give us the discount this time and we'd be happy, they did not seem keen. She continued to say he was just parking up and I told her that I'm looking out right now and there is no car there. So annoyed as we order regularly and obviously that means nothing, not even 20% discount.

The service and quality from Tuk Tuk Thai has gradually declined over time, and sadly I will no longer use them. A real shame as they were once amazing.

We recently had a superb meal at this Thai restaurant in Liscard, Wallasey. The food is authentically Thai, it's not expensive and the service is quick and friendly. We particularly liked the stir-fry beef and the roast duck, and enjoyed our lunch so much that we also took a takeaway with us for our evening meal. Very highly recommended.

We visited Tuk Tuk Thai last week and were treated to some big authentic flavours. Highlights were the Spicy Tom Yum Soup and Massaman Curry. Realy good starter selection too. Would definitely recommend, we'll be returning soon!

My wife an I decided to try this Thai restaurant , we are so pleased we did, the staff are very friendly and polite, the food we ordered was very tasty, hot and well presented, my wife being a vegetarian had plenty to choose from in fact a whole page of choices, I would recommend a visit to this restaurant and I am sure we will be paying another visit, prices are very fair also, our two starters and 2 main meals wit extra portion of chips and two glasses of coke was Just under £30

Food outstanding and the fish made from a carrot added a nice touch, staff very friendly and helpful with choice of meals I can’t wait to go again we had the set meal which was gorgeous and plenty of it, Beef melted in your mouth would highly recommend

Because we have had lunch here before, we decided to go last night with two friends who had not been been to Tuk Tuk's at all. We were all impressed by the place itself and the very warm welcome by the young man with the lovely smile. Three of the group chose a set menu, the one which was slightly spicier than the other. The starter platter, consisting of 6 different items, was outstanding and superbly presented. Each person also had their own dish of sauces. I chose the satay chicken - wonderful. The main courses were all, without exception, delicious and obviously freshly prepared and cooked. I chose a stir fried mixed seafood dish with cashew nuts. As usual, I am on a diet(!) and asked if it could be cooked with this in mind. Not a problem at all, so little oil was used that I did not see any on the plate nor did it taste greasy. The seafood itself was tender and succulent. The set menu ended with some fresh fruit, also beautifully presented. At £15 per person that was very good value indeed. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and cannot wait for a return visit. A definite thumbs up from us!

Just home from a lovely meal with friends, we went for the first set menu, it was only £15 a head and absolutely delicious. Plenty of food, light, slightly spicy, peppery and fragrant, well presented and worth every penny! The staff were friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended, can’t wait to go again!

Have been to the restaurant in the past, and had a good experience. Sadly, tonight ordered a delivery. SAD is right. Over one hour to deliver the food, and the standard was very lacking. Would think seriously before ordering delivery again. Tonight was a let down.... sorry to say.

We went here for an early Saturday dinner last week and had one of the set menus. All of the food was fantastic and the service friendly and prompt. We will definitely be back!

Fast service friendly staff and good value nice atmosphere all six of us enjoyed the experience, even more impressive was the staffs knowledge of non gluten meals which was extensive much to my wife’s joy, it’s hard to find a good restaurant that does actually have a range of gluten free meals.

A few weeks ago, My wife and i were looking for somewhere to eat, So we saw the Tuk Tuk Thai restaurant and thought we would give it a try. Well i can tell you the Food was out of this world and the service was first class. So we are going again tonight with some friends. I have been reading some revues about this Restaurant by people who have said it wasn't good. They must have been in a different place. Can't wait to eat in there again.

I ordered my food at 7:20 and it arrived at 10:20.

Made the decision to order a meal at 8pm on Saturday night with forecast delivery time of 9.20pm.

First of all, the Thai staff here are incredibly rude, the sort of service you would expect in a back street Pattaya bar. Pushy, rude, low quality, and that feeling that you really should not of gone in. The food was the quality you would expect from that sort of establishment. Frozen and fried. No license for alcohol either, to hope wash away the taste of the poor service, you are simply directed to the nearest Tesco. Even though they have a “fully licensed” sign outside. Very basic menu, you would be a lot better off going to any other Thai restaurant on wirral than here. Even the decor is simply posters that have been printed off on some poor quality printer and stuck up with sticky rice to the walls. YUK YUK Thai is more appropriate!

We'd heard good reports about here but the main courses are to die for. The staff are so friendly, the service was great and the meals were amazing.

Wonderful friendly, and entertaining service, great food and reasonably priced. heavy chairs! Very relaxing and soothing atmosphere. This is a lovely little gem in Liscard. Great vegetarian options as well.

Tuk Tuk is now a restaurant in Seaview Road so not sure if earlier reviews are relevant. The meal we had was delicious and the service was very friendly and efficient. I am looking forward to returning!

Went and tried Tuk Tuk Thai tonight. Not a lot of experience with Thai food my partner and I went for the banquet the food was excellent. The staff we're friendly and attentive. Looking forward to our next visit.

The food here is typically Thai, the quality is above average, service impeccable and a really pleasant takeaway expetience.

The food is phenomenal, they do all sorts of choices, I personally would recommend the tod man kow pods, they're to die for, but despite all that what makes me happy is that they offer a vegan tofu curry (masaman) and it's so good, also a peanut tofu starter which is vegan so there's choice for everyone, this place beats all restaurants / fast food chains in my eyes, always ordering from here. To you guys and girls at tuk tuk Thai keep doing what you're doing, regards, 12 Alderley Road :D

Tried Tuk Tuk after long break , ordered a cross section of dishes 6 meals in all. The whole meal was terrible,never again

Only 4 people! Ordered 4 meals 3 sides and 1 starter on a Sunday evening. It arrived 35 minutes after expected so.in total 1 hour 45 minutes....1 meal was missing and our rice was plain not coconut! I then chatted with Just eat who contacts the restaurant! They deny a curry being ordered ( the missing meal) ad say no coconut rice was ordered! I then sent a picture of my ordered showing curry and coconut rice ordered I also stated in the extras I asked for prawn crackers (which they also denied), the restaurant quickly replied saying they'd send missing items and there would be a £1.50.charge for prawn crackers! I'm sorry but anywhere else you get them free... I expected to pay for them initially which was fine but to then be asked for money for them once our order was wrong and very late (which wasn't for the first time might I add)!! Needless to say I won't be ordering from here again which I am so disappointed with because the food is lovely but it isn't worth a 45 wait and items missing ...sorry Tuk Tuk!

The worst service I have ever received in my life, never usually write reviews but this was horrendous. The meal arrived 45 minutes late, was cold as ice and then to our surprise we found chicken skewers as I ordered VEGETARIAN skewers from the VEGETARIAN starter menu. Rang up to try and rectify this issue as it states on my order history that it was vegetarian however then we then went on to receive rude and blunt telephone service with "said" manager - who had no sympathy or compassion for vegetarians that had been delivered meat, "said" manager went on to call us liars and said "how was I meant to know yous are vegetarians" then also didn't address the fact the food was cold nor late. The driver made me stand outside in the rain because he didn't know number 52 came before 54! *face palm* ...Bit of a shame really as it was for my mums birthday, seems like the business is run by idiots, in previous situations if I had been delivered meat the company are usually apologetic and we would come to a resolution - however it would of been more likely to draw blood from a stone then try to get an apology from the rude young woman on the phone. Pre warning to any veggies out there!! :)

Disgusting food. I had the Thai green curry doesn't taste anything like one ! Very expensive and very disappointing.

Tuk tuk thai is amazing, if you're after a big nasty greasy Chinese then this maybe isn't for you, but if your after proper cooked tasty food for extremely good prices this place is definitely for you! We have eaten here on many many occasions and never do they fail on flavor or on a quick delivery time.

We had a family get together and a few fancied Thai. We ordered at 6:15 with an expected delivery time of 7:18. That time came and went, 8pm, 8:15 so I called to say it would be 15 mins. Food eventually turned up at 8:45 & order was wrong & cold. Completely spoilt our family get together

Had two take away meals from tuk tuk Didn't review after first one cause some times services changes However after a second meal Fantastic food both times Great delivery both times Definitely recommend

Ordered food, 20 minutes after the estimated delivery time it still wasn't here, called up and was told it was on way, 10 minutes later called again and was told it would be there in few minutes. Nothing arrived, we were waiting 40 minutes after the estimated delivery time and eventually we called up and cancelled the order. We were waiting 1 hour 30 mins from the time of ordering until we ended up cancelling .... Not good at all..

First time takeaway order via Just Eat. We ordered Sticky rice, Chicken spring rolls, Fish Cakes, Beef yellow curry and Chicken Massaman curry. The chicken was particularly succulent, lovely. The only downside was the fish cakes,which were rather rubbery so sadly I can't recommend those. So on the whole we enjoyed our meal very much and it was delivered very quickly indeed.

Absolutely brilliant takeaway and we order from here regularly.Food is consistently hot and delicious. Often find with these sort of places that food can be hit and miss.Generous portions and good choice of sides.Friendly and kind staff who are always on hand to help.Would definitely recommend.

Very surprised at some of the poor reviews on here. Ordered takeaway recently and despite being 7pm on a Friday it came within 20 minutes (I don't live that close by) and the food was great quality, especially the generous chunks of meat which wasn't fatty or tough. Not expensive either. Will definitely go again.

Went here for the first time last night and although friends had recommended it we were far from impressed. The fish cakes were like cheap frozen ones and very rubbery, the veg Tom yam soup was very spicy but the veg was only some mushrooms sadly bobbing in it. I requested a 'spicy' green curry which came as bland sweet and coconutty with no hint of chilli. All in all very disappointing. Also when I went to collect, the young girl on the till was too busy on her phone to acknowledge me until shouted at from the kitchen, she then attempted to short change me by £5, having been to Thailand, I guess the Thai's just can't help themselves in trying to rip you off.

Ordered our food at 8.30 pm on just eat, our food was to be delivered at 9.40pm. Our food arrived at 10.25pm. I called the shop and was told the driver had left, however received a call from them to say they had no sticky rice! I thought the driver had left, but obviously not with my delivery. Phoned the second time , again told the driver left, when I complained that this was not acceptable, I was told they were busy,and only had one driver on, surly if you have a big back log like the driver stated you would stop taking delivery orders , makes sense I think. The food arrived obviously we were the last on the run as it was not to hot,however on the plus side the food was very tasty, next time I order I will collect it.

Decided to have Thai for a change and so came here. The food is good, fresh and clean. Not overly spicy. The staff are pleasant and speak good English. I would call back again.

We've not had a bad meal from these guys. If you like Thai food then you won't be disappointed! Portions are generous and meat is not the usual cheap stuff. Seafood is also very nice!

What a Waste of money! The fish cakes and dim sum tasted the same (Congealed jelly!) the pad Thai and rice both cheap and cold! Left very disappointed and ripped off!

Awful service, took our money through just eat then cancelled the order 1hr and 20 minutes later by telling just eat to call us. I phoned them and they said they were closing soon and it wasn 't worth it!

Ordered a takeaway as siam in greasby was closed and this place delivered. The food was disgusting, the mixed starter consisted of prawn in a greasy soggy batter, a fishcake that was like a cooked custard consistency, a chicken satay, soggy spring roll and 2 pieces of greasy fried chicken legs. Needless to say it went in the bin completely unedible The mains werent much better. Total waste of money... never again !

Ordered a Pad Thai and Thai fried rice from here and the starter to share. Biggest mistake ever, the pad thai that was supposed to be rice noodles with spring onion and chicken, as is clearly shown in the picture I uploaded is a disgusting congealed greasy mess of egg noodles that were so over cooked and caked in grease that it was inedible. The rice dish was also so greasy it was stuck together in one lump in the carton. The starter to share was also really poor standard. We called to complain, the restaurant were rude and unhelpful claiming that the food was the best standards that they offered!!!!! Well I'm sorry but if that's their best God help anyone who orders from them in the future. They insisted that the noodles where rice noodles and questioned if I could differentiate between rice and egg noodles! The absolute nerve of them! We have eaten pad Thai in Thailand and many other Thai establishments and have never experienced anything like this. Their level of customer service is appalling, refused a refund because we had rung just eat (we ordered through their site) just eat advised we had to call takeaway direct as nothing they could do. Tuk Tuk staff kept insisting we can't refund you because you have complained elsewhere!!??? Erm what does that have to do with the fact that their food was substandard??? Do yourselves a favour and save your money and never make the mistake of ordering from here. Doesn't even deserve 1 star rating but the trip advisor app requires that you make a selection from 1-5

This has to be one of if not the worst takeaway I have ever had!!!!! Cold greasy tasteless absolutely disgusting, rang to complain and females Thai chef was beyond rude screaming down the phone would not let me speak !!!! Apparently food is cooked and delivered greasy so it arrives warm !!!!! No way possible to complain or feedback on just eat So please do not bother to order from this takeaway, I will be reporting to the local authorities

Please don't order food from here!! Food arrived over an hour late for a start!! The food was cold and severely dry! Totally tasteless and lacking in every aspect!! Will never order again! Called to complain and spoke to two members of staff who refused to give me my money back and only offered 10% of next order! Since I will never order again this will be pointless! As far as I'm concerned manners cost nothing!!! Bloody awful from start to finish!! Waste of money, time and effort! Didn't even want to give a star!!

Ordered takeaway off this restaurant. Delivery was over 1/2 hour late, no apologies. Meals arrived without rice and no mention on menu that you needed to order separately. At £34 for 3 it was not exactly cheap. When I rang restaurant the female assistant was plain rude saying everyone knew rice was not included. When I asked about getting some rice she said they were too busy. The food was ok but the service and delivery spoiled everything, especially having to send out for egg fried rice to go with meal.

As my boyfriend tucked into his Pad Thai he almost choked on a large hard piece of plastic. He pulled it from his mouth to check what it was and realised it was actually a 2cm long piece of red electrical wiring. Upon noticing this I rang the restaurant and spoke to a young girl who was very polite but did not deal with my situation so passed me on to a very rude man who at no point apologised and may as well have told me I was lying. (To be honest I have better things to do than lie about a £5.50 pad Thai!) I asked for a refund which I thought was a very reasonable request considering the seriousness of what we found. I would of been happy with this along with an apology. Instead the man proceeded to be rude and put the phone down on me as I told him I would be bringing my custom elsewhere. To me this is a real shame as I have been into a restaurant and the family who run it have always been very nice. I suggest they seriously look at the people they choose to represent them.

Usually love to order from here as the food is actually really lovely and authentic,even if delivery is always over half an hour imagine our horror this evening after working all day to order food at 8 o'clock still not delivered by 9:15(we live 10mins away) to then be told the driver has had an accident and another driver had been sent with a new order for us...still nothing by 9:45 so after ringing AGAIN to be told it will be with us in 10mins....10:05 comes and still no order and absolutely starving and soon be going to bed ready for work again....my husband rang back to see where it was to be told that our order in fact WOULDNT BE COMING AT ALL!!!!! With no correspondence to advice us and LYING to us twice leading us To believe our food was coming never have I experienced anything like it and will not be eating from here again can't believe we've just experienced this!! And now it's 10:20 and we have had to order from somewhere else or be forced to start cooking at this time of night!!!!what an absolute joke

The food me and my wife where given at this takeaway had nothing to do with Thai food at all. It was nothing more than basic Chinese Chippy food at a more expensive price. Really unsatisfied with our meal. Nothing like the Thai meal I have had and nothing like what I have heard of Thai food. I was given sweet and sour chicken with pre cooked sliced chicken in the worst sauce I have ever tasted.

Have had only delivered takeaways from here, but the food has been of a consistently high standard. Delivery times have always been very quck as well

We come to Wirral regularly to see friends, while we are in the area we will go to Tuk Tuk Thai. We have ordered several dishes from here to eat on the day and for next day and they have been lovely. The sweet, and spices as Thai food should be is all there. We generally ask for more spicy and we get what we asked for. Staff are very friendly and recognise a returning customer. Recommend a visit.

We used to visit this takeaway when the previous owners had it, I can honestly say the food is delicious. Really fresh clean tasting Thai food, cooked by Thai chefs. Too many times you see a Turkish guy cooking a Chinese, but not in this place.Extensive menu to suit all even my vegan partner, who is normally a nightmare to eat out with. The only slight downfall is you have to spend over £12 to pay on card, but as we mostly do anyway it's not that bigger problem. Otherwise I can fully recommend and delivery service is pretty quick to.

Great little find this, I've had a good few take away from here now and it's very under rated in my book. Food is outstanding and it's nice to have a chance in the area. Myself and the other half love Thai food. I would give this place 5 stars all day long.

In Wallasey Oriental takeaways that offer quality are few and far between. Decent Chinese chippies are almost non existant as well, so I decided we would try Tuk Tuk while I'm here. No Problem. I'm picky about Thai Green Curry. It was good.
