Fuimos el sábado por la tarde, agradable ambiente relajante. El personal era muy amable. Saba nos hizo excelentes cocteles, conocimos a la dueña, ella fue muy agradable, preguntando si estábamos disfrutando de nuestra visita , y se sentó con nosotros por unos minutos , la comida es muy auténtica y el baklava es çok güzel 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷

3a vez ir con mi marido para nuestro almuerzo de aniversario de boda 💖 servicio fue excelente y la comida era increíble. Volveremos pronto.

Muy buen servicio rápido, y excelente comida fresca y sabrosa. Un punto por reciclar panes, visto como fuimos a pagar en el mostrador, no es bueno.

Visitado anoche, mi amigo estaba de visita, nos conocimos en unas vacaciones turcas, nos encantó la comida, el servicio era muy bueno, la comida era increíble, y buen ambiente, el té turco era un buen final. Gracias. 🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷

Fui a Turk Naz para una cena con mi familia para variar un domingo. . . La comida era muy buena muy nicley hecho y el personal era amable y muy servicial El restaurante era realmente auténtico y daba la sensación de estar de vacaciones, Verdaderamente una gran experiencia... pero Para la comida servida el precio no era el apropiado, El margen de descuento debe ser para pagar el costo de la ubicación, Probablemente no volverá debido a los precios,

Located on Stratford Rd in Shirley and got some parking across the road. Food was served quite quickly. Pleasant ambience and nice service. Had lamb & chicken sheesh with chips.

Popped in by the off chance. The restaurant was very busy around 7pm. We are seated quickly, and service was speedy. I had a lamb and wrap and my partner had lamb ribs...absolutely stunning!! Really enjoyed it. Massive thumbs up to Turk Nazz shirley. Will deffo visit again

Very good restaurant. Authentic Turkish food , amazing as here in Birmingham it’s difficult to find a tasti and nice Turkish taste. Me and my husband always go for mix grill and never disappoints us. Our daughter also enjoys the food. Staff is always friendly, nice and helpful. Mohammed was our waiter and he was very nice and attentive. Thank you very much.

Went as a family of 4 with another couple. Had a selection of dishes from the menu... Various chicken and lamb platters. All served with bulgar wheat, rice, salad. Soft drinks and beers available. Second visit... Would happily go again.

Ate here last night was very dissapointed. My mousakka was tasteless my baklava was cold and the service was terrible. Spoilt the night as we had told our friends it was really good.

Very friendly staff , greeted us they were extremely attentive. The menu choices were excellent above all the food was delicious I would highly recommend

The food wasn’t very nice, the rice was not cooked it was crunching in my mouth , my drink tasted nasty, the only good thing was bread & dips… DISAPPOINTED

It's a shame that I'm writing this review but I feel I have to. We were a group of 6 friends, the food was lovely but the manager unfortunately spilled food all over me (there was rice stuck in my hair, all over my jacket and down my dress), yes he apologised but did nothing to rectify his mistake, like giving something for free. And actually the meat that fell on the floor was not replaced which means we paid for food that was on the floor. My friends lamb chops were forgotten and we were all already eating without him having his food, we were told it will be 2minutes, 15minutes later, not cool. I chose not to say something at the time because in my culture you give the culprit time to think about things and then rectify it. I didn't make a scene because we all make mistakes but next time you spill food on someone, replace their food, all of it, and take a little something off the bill as a good will gesture, it will be the right thing to do. Excellent food, not so great service.... Thanks

During the Covid lockdown we ordered take away food from Turknaz and we were never disappointed. We decided that it was time to go and see the restaurant in person. We were very pleased that we did because the food ( which was in good quantities too ) and service were excellent, and the restaurant had a great ambience. Thank you to you for taking good care of 4 hungry customers.

A great place to eat. Excellent quality and lovely staff.the chicken wings are the best ever. Could have had them for starter, main and pud. Definitely going back again. Thank you. Xxxxx

Clean your toilets the sinks the floors the toilets at the back all over walls the tiles, the outside sink area very very very very of putting and fix the broken toilet 🤮and no hot water to wash hands. And get the manger to smile.

We as a family have eaten at this amazing restaurant several times.. after an impromptu stop off tonight .. we now know why we need eat out at the Turk naz more!. The lovely owner Is always there checking in on all customers making them feel so so welcome and the staff are genuine, so friendly and professional as always .. food wise … portions , presentation, quality, taste AMAZING.. great value too …a MUST visit …. thrilled to know take way and delivery service available too !

Took my son here for diner. I stood in the reception for 5 minutes, staff walked past me, didn't welcome me, say anything or even make eye contact. After a few more minutes we decided to leave after another waitress walked past me to speak to her friend outside. Looks lovely and the food smelled delicious but first impressions count!

We’ve been ordering from here ever since it opened and occasionally dining in since they started serving alcohol. It’s probably about the healthiest take away you can order, with everything grilled and the quality is consistently good. Often certain wines are not in stock but the alternatives are fine. Service is always friendly even if sometimes somewhat disjointed. This is our go-to local takeaway and after literally dozens of orders it’s always spot on. Prices have increased as they have everywhere as businesses are being hit from all angles with rising energy and product costs. Save a few quid by collecting instead of using a 3rd party delivery company, you’ll also make sure this family doesn’t get hit with the circa 30% of the bill for getting it delivered.

When me & my friend got to Turk Naz in Shirley, there were 6 or 7 staff on the floor as it was early on a Saturday evening. There were only 2 other tables of 2 eating in the restaurant. Despite this I had to stand up and wave, and then when that didn’t work actually shout across the restaurant, to finally get someone to take our order. The waiter who came over, seemed quite confused. We ordered two glasses of coke. We specifically asked for no ice in the coke, but a glass of ice on the side, and the waiter agreed. Five minutes later we got two tall glasses of coke completely packed with ice. Then, he seemed quite confused about the menu. For example it clearly said that the main dish we were ordering came with a choice of rice OR bulgar wheat, but even when we showed him the menu he said it *always* came with both. He said we couldn’t have one particular salad because they didn’t have the ingredients - but he said another more expensive salad with almost identical ingredients would be fine to order. So we asked him what ingredients were unavailable since the salads were essentially the same and we just wanted the small salad - but he didn’t know (and didn’t seem inclined to find out). The bread which came was delicious, and also the houmous - but the baba ghanoush tasted very odd. It turned out they’d made it mostly with yoghourt(!). The menu specifically listed the baba ghanoush ingredients - which didn’t (as baba ghanoush usually doesn’t) include yoghourt. I have a dairy allergy so I wouldn’t have ordered a dish made with dairy. I pointed out to a member of staff (who turned out to be the manager) that I couldn’t eat what I’d ordered because it wasn’t what the menu said it was, but he just insisted aggressively that baba ghanoush is *always* made with yoghourt. I eat Syrian and Lebanese cuisine a lot and know this isn’t the case, but anyway I showed him the menu for his own restaurant with its detailed ingredient list for baba ghanoush which clearly *doesn’t* contain yoghourt. This didn’t appear to change his mind at all. (He did however eventually agree to our request to remove the dish from the table and our order.) The koftas came, and they were very greasy. The dish was just two huge sticks of greasy meat and tiny mounds of rice / bulgur wheat. Not a very enjoyable or balanced dish. We would have eaten it with the Greek salad we’d ordered to accompany it - but there seemed to be no dressing on the salad and the pieces of avocado in it were so hard they were inedible - they were literally crunchy!! No idea how the kitchen even cut the avocado let alone thought it was ok to serve. When the manager collected our dishes from the table, we’d left the salad virtually untouched. When he asked how the meal was. I mentioned the crunchy avocado in the undressed salad, and he said he’d check it out. But his version of ‘checking it out’ was to come straight back with the bill and ask repeatedly and aggressively ‘Card? Cash? Cash or card? Card?” etc. Pretty unpleasant. During all of this, thumping techno dance music was playing so loud we had to almost shout to be heard. It was a hugely overpriced £47.20 for this fiasco of a meal and service, and I feel like we almost completely wasted our money. I know nice restaurants where I can order as much as two people could possibly eat or drink, of gorgeous, tasty well-balanced food with friendly service, for maximum £35. This was the weirdest (and most stressful) eating out experience I’ve had in probably 20 years, and neither of us will be going back!

Food lovely. Had to ask twice for high chair and drinks, had to wait a long time to make an order, we didn’t get asked if the food was okay. Table service overall very poor

Don't bother ordering from this restaurant Ordered via just eat ,was told 50-60 mins, 40 mins later was told driver acquired we will start cooking, one hour 10 mins on the clock, order cancelled no explanation from the restaurant or just eat, And they say hospitality needs help at the mome, try helping yourselves What a joke about Forced to add a rating otherwise it would be zero

Popped in as recommended . I had a turknaz plate for two and icecream and baklava, excellent meal and great service. Really enjoyed.
