I absolutely love having food at Turkish bistro the service is amazing and all the staff are lovely❤️ would definitely recommend to everyone!

We visited this place for breakfast today, and unfortunately, the waitress was very rude and unprofessional. Her attitude and facial expressions made us feel extremely uncomfortable throughout our visit. We were a group of five and ordered two Turkish breakfasts (£13 each) and one panini sandwich. Usually, Turkish breakfast is served with Turkish bread like simit, but this wasn’t the case here, so we had to order bread separately. Surprisingly, for the two Turkish breakfasts, we were served just one small baguette, cut in half, with one half given for each breakfast. This was shocking, so I raised a complaint. The waitress rudely responded, saying, “We’ve been here for 8 years, and it’s always served this way.” I pointed out that this location previously housed a different restaurant (Turkoz), and it hasn’t been 8 years for them here. Her attitude was dismissive and disrespectful. I asked to see the manager, but instead of addressing the issue professionally, she went to the kitchen and returned, saying, “Fine, we’ll bring you one more bread.” This was unacceptable behavior and very disappointing. We paid £60 for breakfast, but the poor service and rude behavior completely ruined the experience. We will not return to this place again. Feel free to adjust if needed!

We had our family Christmas Dinner here and it was brilliant. The service was fantastic and the food and wine were excellent. We chose from a set menu and all were really impressed with our meals. I will definitely visit again to enjoy some of the dishes on their regular menu. I hope they have some of the same desserts on offer. That Strawberry Cheesecake was phenomenal 🍓 🍰.

This place is quickly becoming our go-to restaurant when out and about in Cheadle. Love the mixed grill. Had the Turkish breakfast this morning, rather than the usual fry up. Nice choice...

Hired the upstairs space for a 50th birthday party. Food and service was spot on the whole night. Many guests have come back since trying Turkish Bistro for the first time at the party 🥳

Great food and excellent service.

Excellent mixed grill options. We ordered mixed grill for two people and portions were generous plus most tasty. Its our second faultless visit. Aly, Ellie and Silvia are amazing at customer service and nothing is too much trouble with them. They even remembered our first a few months ag9 and let us have the same table for memories galore.

A super delicious soup, just like homemade, along with a traditional Turkish breakfast featuring fresh Simit and a tasty omelette, made for a perfect morning for me and my friend.

Lovely meal. Had the Sunday two course deal which was great value. Staff all very friendly and service was top notch. Would definitely return. The meze was lovely, Donner and rice was very tasty and the chocolate truffle desert was delicious.

This is a great place for lunch and dinner. Their quality of food and variety is top of this world. I love going to this place with my Friends and Family. My recommendation will be to try their pastas, garlic bread, peri peri chicken and chicken sizzler if you go there.

Been here a few times, food has always been great. Service on point. We ordered: Starters..... soup, chicken wings, lamb & humas and Feta Salad. Mains: 3x steaks 3x mixed sizzlers. Deserts: 3 x Chocolate pistachio cake. 1 x fudge

ordered the charcoal grill, very small lamb chop small piece of chicken and some beef stroganoff. i know we are in a cost of living crisis but come on guys

Turkish Bistro a wonderful early evening dinner for my Husbands 70th birthday today. All the staff are very welcoming and attentive to detail. Chef came over to our table to ask how our main course was, absolutely delicious was our reply. Attention to detail superb my wine glass was topped up without prompting. A lovely relaxing and enjoyable evening thank you 😊 ❤😘

Food: 👍good variety on the menu but not too much so not too thinly spread, top quality cooking 👎more salad could be served with main dishes, rice OR chips could be more of an option stated on the menu Service: 👍helpful, punctual, polite 👎could be more chatty to relax customers a little Ambiance: 👍calm, clean, good noise levels 👎some low level music could liven the place up a bit (I don’t remember there being any - apologies if I missed it), maybe even Turkish pop or traditional listener friendly music I recommend this restaurant ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent service by all. Pleasant and friendly waiting staff. Delicious food and very good value for money. So many cakes to choose from, you'll be spoilt for choice. Also you can still order breakfast at lunchtime to if you wish. Licenced restaurant.

Extortionate prices. My Apple Juice costed £3.50 with a small desert costing £6 took from the fridge. Sandwiches were unedible they didnt charge me for them.

My second time here and the food was fabulous yet again, definitely worth a try nice cosy atmosphere and the desserts and coffee were a lovely finish to our meal will return and try lunch next time

Better Turkish restaurants in the same area

Went on a Monday lunchtime, and it was busy. Staff, food, and service were great. Highly recommend.

It tasted more or less okay, but was barely lukewarm. The barms and poached eggs were very small, the majority of the meal being made up of limp salad. Avocado is listed as an ingredient, but if it existed at all, was only two small slices easily mistook for something else

We stopped as we were passing and needed to eat. I’m so glad we did. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We will be back.

Getting such a good “Full English Breakfast” in a Turkish bistro is quite impressive. We were served by the very nice boss, who also spoke German.

Tried the Turkish Bistro for the midweek deal of two courses for £19.95. The restaurant was clean and staff were attentive however the food was awful. I had the chicken wings to start, which tasted and smelt as if they’d been sat there cooked all day and warmed up for my starter. I also had the lamb doner for main, the salad and rice was ok however the lamb was nearly inedible. It tasted and smelt so fatty and was really tough. My partner had the cold mezze for starter which was a lot nicer, but you can’t really go wrong with dips and bread, and lamb moussaka for mains. The lamb moussaka was a big portion however again was average, and we both left feeling sick. I would probably go back to try the breakfast menu however I will definitely not be going again for dinner. Really disappointed.

Best Full English breakfast I have had. Everything on my plate was of a very good quality. Coffee, baklava and cake were very nice too. Would definitely go back when in Manchester. Excellent service and staff too.

Just been to Turkish Bistro in Cheadle with a friend, I had the mixed sizzler dish and it was amazing. My friend had the Chicken SIS and it was very tasty and succulent. We both finished off with Coffees and one of Lisa’s sublime beautifully had made cakes which are to die for. A big thank you to all the staff and of course the Chef. Will definitely be coming back. Went for an evening meal, couldn't believe the food we had for the price. Would definitely recommend the chicken shish and pavlova for dessert. The portions are really generous as well. The restaurant was busy but we didn't have to wait long and the staff were really attentive. The Mrs really rates the cocktails too!

It was a pleasant lunch visit. The food was nice enough but lacked some attention to detail. For example the hummus and flat bread. The flatbread was just store bought, not even warmed up or grilled. Can't even recall what I ordered for the main, so can't have been too impressed. Cakes sold looked great but were basically pretty piles of sugar and cream. Even the cheesecake appeared to lack cheese. My Aperol spritz was a bit insipid tasting. Not enough Aperol. Everything else was good, the place was clean and service was fine.

I am not fond of writing negative feedbacks, but our unpleasant experience can hopefully prevent this from recurring. Upon entering, we were met with a unwelcoming atmosphere, the staff felt disinterested and appeared to be on autopilot. We were offered a table for two, which I expressed would be too small for us since I had a laptop that I was working on. The restaurant was empty with only one table occupied. The staff refused to give us a bigger table informing us that all the tables were fully booked for the next half hour. Inconveniently we sat down on the smaller table, ordering multiple dishes caused our food not to fit on the given table. The staff started placing our dishes on the table next to us without offering us to move on the bigger table, so we had to reach out to a different table to access our food, while’s visibly our table had no room for all food that we had ordered. The staff were not concerned and payed no interest although we were clearly upset with this situation. We even expressed our discomfort multiple times, requesting to move but this was refused by the staffs available. The rest of the tables of the restaurant remained empty during the duration we were dining which was a clear indication that the staff were being untruthful about the fact that they were fully booked. Upon leaving they expressed no apology, and did not acknowledge us, Overall the service felt like a huge letdown.

I have walked past the beautiful array of cakes for so long that I finally went in and bought some! At £6 each my expectations were high and foe appearance alone I was willing to give 5 stars! However from first bite onwards complete disappointment. Each cake was very dry, tasteless and ended up in the bin. Looks can be so deceiving. The 2 stars is for appearance and customer service. If you find yourself too full for dessert, count your blessings. How hard can it be to make the cakes taste as good as they look??Complete waste of money-I would have been better off (literally) buying Kipling cakes-you have been warned!!

Very busy place but we were served quickly and food was delicious. We didn't try any of the lovely cakes on display as we were too full after 2 courses but said we'll definitely go back for coffee and cake sometime.

Lovely place and food was nice too. Not all food halal so please do ask. The dessert section though was amazing. If you like chocolate, try the chocolate truffle it was not heavy at all.

The food was amazing! Everything was perfectly balanced and the doner was excellent. We had a slice of the chocolate fudge cake and my god it was heavenly. The cake was moist soft and surprisingly light. The whole meal was amazing. The staff were fantastic and always came with a smile. Couldn't be happier with the food or the service. I am hoping to see them get another star but this time from Michelin, I do believe it was that good.

Hey there! So, I just had the most incredible Turkish breakfast at this charming little Turkish bistro. Let me tell you, it was absolutely mind-blowing! I mean, seriously, one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a bistro. And the tea? Oh, it was just perfect. The whole place had this amazing vibe and ambiance that made the experience even better. You know what else was cool? They had a picture gallery on the wall where you could actually buy the artwork. How awesome is that? And I have to give a shoutout to the incredible service. They really went above and beyond. Well done, guys!

It was our first time in this cafe. Service was great, however I noticed some members of stuff sounded like we bothered them by asking the question. Nevertheless stuff was polite and friendly. We were asked if our food was all right throughout our stay and if we needed anything else. I ordered chicken wraps and egg Florentine. My egg Florentine was a bit blunt. Also I found some crunchy bits inside, which therefore put me from finishing the rest. Chicken wraps were absolutely beautiful. I will be back, as the rest of the food and overall service was good. 4*

Fantastic food, great singer in the evening......but the service was absolutely awful, slow isn't the word. Waited ages to order drinks, waiting even longer to get them.

I went here with my wife and children and aesthetically the cakes looked delicious. For 2 slices of cake and a glass of milk it was £14 which is extortionate. My daughter's cake was dry and did not seem fresh. The gentleman was friendly and shared his knowledge of the dishes served with another customer.

Popped in for a vegetarian breakfast, smoothie and cake. The food was excellent, fast service, great atmosphere. Will be back for sure.
