I ordered a delivery and My curry turned up cold, I called the restaurant to inform them and they were extremely rude and said it can’t be cold and refused to exchange. When I repeated that it was stone cold not even warm I was told I’m lying because it can’t be cold. Will never order from here again

Terrible good and even worse customer service. I had ordered several items for a takeaway. When they arrived the curry was cold, not even warm, I called up and was told if can’t be, I repeated it was cold, I was then told can’t be and I’m lying.

Good food, good value for money.

I was disappointed with the food, sadly, there was little meat on the ribs, I ordered egg fried rice and received boiled white rice, chicken balls batter was very greasy. I was quite shocked as when I go in person to get food it is always good!

Just about within the quoted time but took an hour and 15 mins to arrive.

Food was excellent. Delivery was excellent . Ordering our meal was easy. Fantastic from start to finish.

Staying with my parents who have not had a Chinese in years. Ordered the food before they had opened. Arrived earlier then estimated and the food was hot and absolutely delicious! I have no doubt my parents will order again.

Brilliant service this is an absolute lovely Chinese

Our usual take away is closed so I thought we would try here for a change, food arrived much quicker than expected and unfortunately that's where the positive experience ended. Quality was poor (my wifes chicken was inedible) and overall not great.

Collected as wait time was up to 90 minutes, food was 15 minutes later than the app told us. Food was then not great. Beef was very fishy tasting compared to the exact same dish we always get from other places, so we didn’t eat it. The duck spring roll was a battered duck pancake which was weird and not what we had expected. Local to me so had hoped it was good but won’t be ordering again.

We waited an hour and a half for the food & when it arrived it was cold. Beef was grisly and chewy and the chicken was the poorest quality chicken I've ever eaten..most was inedible. We thought we'd try somewhere different & this is the first and last time we will ever order from here. Shocking!

The driver turned up to our door and then drove away, I called the restaurant and they said the driver messed up the order and had to bring it all back for them to re cook it, they said it would be another 30 mins which we were happy to wait but they were not willing to give us any discount considering it was there driver that messed up the order. Then to top it off the driver has crashed into our neighbours fence. Shame as urban jade are usually fantastic.

Best Chinese we’ve found in Eastbourne. Good vegetarian options, although wish they had salt and pepper tofu. Also love the noodles, they always have a smokey taste! Would highly recommend

Excellent food my favourite Chinese in Eastbourne.

We order from here regularly, and the food quality is normally quite good. But on this occasion (New Year's Day evening) the food was not up to it's usual quality! There was far too much garlic in the vegetable spring rolls and the special fried rice lacked flavour.

Great Chinese, best in Eastbourne! won’t go anywhere else. Such lovely people and amazing food. Never had a single bad word to say, when we order with guests they also give lots of compliments!

Visited this takeaway for the first time, and although the quality of the food seemed to be okay, the taste was oh, so so salty made the food virtually inedible ,ate about a third and threw the rest away. Will never go back again

Fantastic Food with perfect service every month. Fast, efficient delivery, never late, most times early & with a smile. Food is always hot, taste great everytime & our family of 5 prefer this one with affordable prices, even with free prawn crackers to-boot which show they care. Absolutely recommended.

I have never eaten from this takeaway before as it's a little too far away and I would have to drive. Now I will eat from nowhere else, the food is of much better quality than the local Seaside takeaways. The delivery was early and the food hot. Excellent experience. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, hot and delivered early

Absolutely beautiful food, delivered on time piping hot, this was our first order and it won't be our last!! We had king prawn balls, special curry, crispy chilli beef, special rice, all was excellent. Highly recommend Urban jade would of given 10*👍👍

It arrived 15 minutes after we ordered, we actually couldn't believe the order could be correct but it was and delicious as always!

Food was good and delivery time was excellent considering it was 7pm on a Friday night. But the mixed starters were massively overpriced for what you got so dont bother ordering them. Everything else was good though and I would order from here again.

What an excellent takeaway. Everything cooked to perfection. I first rate my Chinese by the greasiness of the prawn crackers, these were perfect, good flavour without the grease. Our meal was for five so we had a mixture of chicken, prawns, beef and mixed veg plus rice and noodles. We often have a Chinese takeaway and from all the places in Eastbourne that we use this has been the best.

The stupidest delivery driver ever. Drove past my house 3 times in the space of ten minutes with me stood outside. Consequently I got warm food not hot. Food was lovely though. Thank you. Delivery driver obnoxious and frankly rude when he did finally work out the number of the house and not a happy man at all. The imbecile ruined a perfectly good meal.

This used to be my go-to Chinese takeaway, around 2 years ago there was a change of chef so decided to not go back, upon hearing good things recently I tried it again and honestly can say I was happily surprised! Everything was cooked to perfection, had such great flavours and quality ingredients, definitely would recommend and look forward to using again! Update: Have had again since and wasn’t as good, must be dependent on the who’s the chef on the day.

Chicken was tasteless, couldn’t find the duck in the rice, chicken curry was poor, wouldn’t order again.

Lovely meal- very tasty. Only slight negative was the chef didn’t read the request not to have chunks of garlic in the sauces. Chicken in yellow bean had so much! Squid was perfectly cooked

I’m afraid that the chicken was a bit bland in the curry and so so so spicy couldn’t finish it! I order from here often and has never been that spicy… The soup was delicious !
