Urbano 32 in Cheshire West and Chester

Fancied some lunch out and a bit of me time this afternoon. Well, what a find this was. Greeted at the door, warm and friendly. Ordering process was swift and uncomplicated. Then food arrives. Prawn starter, carbonara and side of garlic potatoes. Wanted everything to come together. Food was delicious, hot and tasty. Alongside a pint and a coffee. Unfortunately I didn't get the young lady and gentleman's names. But a fantastic lunch as a solo diner. Enjoy the tip! Joe 😁

Great for a casual night out. Ideally located in the centre of Chester. Very busy and a good atmosphere. I really enjoyed my pizza and they do unusual flavours which is great. I had one with sliced pears, walnuts, prosciutto and blue cheese - v tasty. Great service. All staff were v friendly. The only thing that put me off is the inclusion of 15% service charge on the bill. I hate when restaurants do that personally. Hence dropping 1 star.

I don't often write reviews but felt these guys deserved it, we had a fantastic evening meal here as a family and couldn't fault it. The server in particular was excellent and very helpful.

Great little find along the busy eateries along Chester's Bridge Street. An extensive pizza menu with a good option of sides as well. There were some vegetarian options also as well as a range of pasta dishes. Went for a light lunch buy ended up choosing starters and sides. We had the chicken wings , both the hot and balsamic options and they were lovely and well marinaded. We each chose a pizza - The New Porker, The Rustique and The Urban Marg - all were served quickly, had a lovely base/ crust and plenty of topping. As sides we had the roast potatoes and Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. The service was very good, some staff nicer than others but that is true of any where you go these days. The brought water to the table on arrival, checked if we wanted more drinks and brought the bill promptly. Passed the kitchen as I walked to the toilet, very clean and organised. We were sat in a booth as it was quiet when we arrived - and it was great for privacy and being able to have a conversation. Some of the other tables - seemed a bit too close to each other and when it got bust later on some customers seemed to be a bit too close to each other . I would definitely visit again as we really enjoyed the food and the relaxed atmosphere.

Walked in without booking and were promptly seated and served. Lovely pizza- friendly service would recommend. Blue cheese pizza with pear, walnuts and balsamic was very good.

Unreal..... That's all. Food, service and drinks all spot on 💪 will be back.

The top class service matched the wonderful food. It was great value, highly recommend a visit. Special mention for the burrata dip starter - absolutely delicious.

Best Pizza in chester, very reasonably priced and the staff are wonderful. Will always revisit here, the pasta is also amazing

The food, service, atmosphere is always the same at Ubano, never been disappointed, it's one of our favourite places to eat. What an enjoyable evening at Urbano 32, everything was just ‘right’. The Pizzas were hot, a good size with a fair level of toppings. The drinks were reasonably priced whether alcoholic or not. The service was spot on from both the colleagues who served us creating an ambiance that was spot on! Would happily come back here again times over.

Exceptional treatment from every member of staff.Will definitely return. Chester is overflowing with places to eat but Urbano32 has a lovely atmosphere and a superb team of staff.

Delightful food and location, - recommended

The pizza,drinks and hard working staff were the only good things about this place. The Pasta Arabiata was truly awful ! It tasted like it had been cooked some time ago and reheated in the microwave. Same goes for the Focaccia bread, cold and doughy, possibly defrosted. Not what you’d expect at all. Very expensive for what we received really.

Very nice staff and food. We had the chicken croquettes starter and two pizzas. All were delicious. I would definitely come back again. We had a dog and sat outside.

Dropped in for lunchtime pizza and very happy with choice. Friendly welcome, very fast service and tasty fresh pizza. Lots of choice on this street but would recommend.

We had three pizzas there tomighy which were all gorgeous! The toppings were not your standard fare and the sourdough bases were fab. The staff was so warm and welcoming particularly with our overtired hugry two year old on the verge of a breakdown. We were given a great seat and crayons/colouring which saved our night. The gelato was fabulous too!

Absolutely unreal food. The truffle and parmesan fries are to die for!!!!! We got an unreal deal with the 2 for 1 pizzas on Thursdays - would definitely recommend.

Wow so refreshing to have sraff that are approachable, friendly, full of life and polite. ( rare these days). Do we spent the evening in this basis, had amazing food and a wonderful day. Thank you URBANI 32.

We came for a family meal around a week ago and we loved it. The food was fresh and tasty and reasonably priced for the quality. The lady who served us was lovely and took a picture of us. I will definitely return again

I had The Goat. It said on the description it had mushroom. Barely. That was the only topping and they really skimped on it. Maybe it was because we had a late booking - 8:30 pm. Maybe that’s why we felt rushed too. Ice cream was tasty.

Really enjoyed my time at Urbano. I will say that I think the prices need a revision. £7 for very small wings was a shock indeed. The pizza was lovely however, made for great cold leftovers. All the staff were lovely. My one major criticism is that we were sat next to a couple enjoying a date night. The restaurant was basically empty barring a few tables. Looking back I should have requested to move but going forward if it can be helped I would never sit 2 separate parties next to one another if there is space elsewhere as it is was awkward for the first 20 minutes of our visit.

Great location for a few drinks and people watching on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Good cocktails and nice friendly service. Our party did not eat but from what we saw/smelt from the neighbouring tables, it seemed good. We did go back for a drink the same evening before our restaurant reservation, unfortunately the service level had dipped, despite them being quieter. Our drinks order was not correct and there seemed to be a longer than necessary discussion at the bar to decide whether two of our cocktails/mocktails where alcohol free or not. They did drop the service charge from the bill when we left to make up for this.

Fantastic spot to sit in the sun. Pizza was great ( Rustique) service was spot on. Nice location to have a beer and watch the afternoon pass by.

I had the goats cheese pizza with mushroom. But there was very little mushroom.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I havent been to Urbanos 32 before, will definitely be returning to try some more of their menu. I went with a friend, we are both vegetarian and each had a different pizza from the menu which we both really enjoyed. We went on a Thursday when they have a buy one get one free promotion on their pizzas, so definitely value for money. I booked a table for 5.30, the restaurant was moderately busy when we arrived, then soon filled up after 6pm. So definitely book a table if you are arriving around this time to avoid missing out!

Hadn’t booked a table but called in hoping they could fit us in. They could. First time visiting for myself and my daughter. Friendly efficient service and the pizzas were excellent. It was 2 for 1 Thursday so that was a lovely surprise 🙂. The mocktails were also delicious. I’m sure my daughter will be back soon now she has discovered it, as she’s a uni student in the city.

Lovely experience from start to finish. We sat outside in the sun and ordered a couple of beers, then some garlic bread and Parmesan fries. Without even asking the garlic bread was split into 2 on separate plates. Team very polite and efficient. Looking forward to combining back.

Lovely food, wonderful service. All the staff were excellent especially as it was busy following the Race Day earlier on but our server, Claudia was exceptional. Not just in our service which was exemplary, but also in the way she interacted with the other customers we observed. An absolute gem.

As always great food, thin based pizza with plenty of our favourite toppings, The King pizza was especially delicious. Staff very polite. £24 odd for 2 pizzas 2 drinks and a dip (siracha mayo) lovely!! See you again soon.

My wife & I had a pizza and salad on Saturday night 24th August, this is our 2nd time here we sat downstairs last time as we had our gog with us, but this time didn't have our dog so we sat upstairs (as it was cooler with air conditioning) fantastic food, music & the price very reasonable, the staff very friendly & the young lady who served us was very polite & was a pleasure to be served by. (The lady was from Argentina) We will certainly return. A1 well worth a visit if your in chester. Mark & Lynne Shaw

Absolutely phenomenal pizza. We took our 8 month old and he was welcomed by the staff. A special "casual" restaurant with great pizza! We had the margarita and the Feeling Blue. Both exceptional - not too much crust. We'll be back for sure .

First time to Chester and found this little gem. Fantastic pizza and a nice atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again.

We dined Friday night early: there was a great buzz, service very attentive, lots of innovative spin on traditional Italian dishes, and the pizza bases are amazing - light and crispy - like being in Italy. Can’t wait to go there again when we’re next in Chester.

Pizza was nice service was a tad slow but overall a nice visit

the glass my drink was served in. 1st glass was dirty so asked for it to be changed. 2nd glass came out dirty? again asked for it to be changed. 3rd time.e lucky I eventually got to drink my first drink. then 2nd drink the glass was the first glass I had and was still dirty

Went on a date here for the 2x1 Pizza Thursday Amazing food, we both really enjoyed it. The staff were lovely and very attentive Definitely will be visiting again, would recommend especially if you're after authentic and delicious food!

It was our first visit as a family, and we all had a great time. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was good — especially the pizzas on the Thursday 2-for-1 deal — and the service was solid. The staff were nice, with Ella being especially friendly and attentive. She's a real asset to the place.

Such a lovely place. A really friendly greeting as I stepped through the door. An extensive selection of wine and the best pizza ever. I had ‘The Capri’ and some Parmesan and Truffle Fries with a large glass of table wine.

Looking for a place to eat. It looked busy but we got seats. Great food, reasonable price. Loved it.

This is a must for me and my family when we come to Chester. The pizza is incredibly good. The best we've had, in fact, anywhere! Also, the staff are so friendly and attentive. We have one small child and one baby, and it's perfect for us, but it would also be great for a group of friends or a date.

Very nice place located on the Chester pedestrian area. We loved stopping by and buying something here. The decoration inside, the preserved architecture, even the bathrooms are fascinating. The service treated us very friendly. We would return without a doubt. It is a little expensive, but normal for such a touristy place.

The drinks we had were great but that’s about it. Service was poor and were made to feel like they didn’t want our business due to the waitresses comments, so left after one drink. Good seating especially when the sun is out is supposed to is a redeeming quality

Very nice pizza, reasonably priced and the ingredients were fresh. Home made lemonade was also very nice.

First place I've been in a long time that does the simple selection of pizza, chips and wings and does them very well. Rum cocktails were class as well.

When on Saturday after races Service was awful and it wasn't even busy . Manager said she would get someone to serve us , but didn't so had to go to counter to request service !! After requested chat with manager but she came and gave me some issues with a person outside !! But we were in ages before that and still she sent no-one But it's doesn't matter as the manager always right!! Food was OK my wife said But service and manager too busy well what can I say .

Had some wonderful mocktails. Heartily recommend the Dragon Twist! The menu is limited but everything is customisable and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. A warm and welcoming atmosphere on a damp Sunday evening! Definitely recommend the Affogato. Discovered by a pleasant accident. Will be back deliberately next time

Lovely place for a Pizza and beer my only real complaint was a loud Scottish guy sitting on the table opposite , I don’t think he will be there every day 😁

This place has a really good feel to it. We managed to get a table, without a reservation, whilst meeting up with friends in Chester. The service was brilliant. Really helpful staff. The food was amazing. Really tasty, served nicely and good portions.

I had my second visit here about two weeks ago (first time was the first date with the other half) and we got the same table, same service, same atmosphere and same quality of food and we are definitely coming back because on the second visit I tried the honey chilli dip and in all honest I'm hooked... the holy grail of crust dip 🤤 Thanks, Urbano we'll be back soon.

Friendly staff. One girl was lovely with my son who's birthday it was but he didn't want a fuss & she was discreet when bringing his birthday brownie. Menu excellent. Will definitely be returning.

Visited for lunch. We did not have a booking but we're accommodated. Staff were all all really nice and friendly. Pizza were very good, not quite Neapolitan but sour dough based which is a bit chewier but more flavoursome. Overall it was a great mean and would definatelly go again.

Visited Chester and so many choices of restaurants. We were impressed with Urbana’s menu and gave it a try. Have to say we had an excellent meal. We chose the king prawns with chorizo and spinach, this was so delicious. Followed by the pepperoni pizza. A very generous sized pizza, fresh and being baked in the wood fired oven just made it all the more tasty. Lovely staff, service was excellent so were the cocktails. Super restaurant

Fabulous service… the young girl from Donegal was great (didn’t get her name). The pizzas were lush, and such a fabulous deal 2-1. The Parmesan fries were amazing too.

A Fantastic little resturant! Lovely staff, happy vibes, cool interior, and awesome food! We had the Parmesan fries and a margarita. I definitely would consider myself a connoisseur in the realms of margarita pizzas, i love them! And I’m not easily impressed… however this place really, really does a good one!!! Super awesome flavour, that is everything you want and more, the fries were very tasty too… A Great place, we will defo go again.

Excellent pizzas, £15.50 each but affordable on 2 for 1 Thursdays. Great music playing & servers dancing their way around, made us smile. Diverse mix of customers added to the atmosphere. Bill was incorrect but quickly fixed. Will definitely visit again.

My friend and I enjoyed our lunch here today. We both agreed that the food was excellent and the 2 for 1 Pizza on a Thursday is great value. Nice atmosphere with a rustic feel. Special mention goes to the Stefania and the team for their excellent service and hospitality.
