Extremely loud music. It borders on the point of a nightclub. They don't even have the daily dishes, they are disabled in the app. Do the dishes change from one Vapiano to another? I ordered the same thing as the one on the street below and everything in smaller portions and different presentation.

Let's start with the advantages of the restaurant. Spaces are open, warm, the decoration is modern with a twist of lounge cafe. The staff was helpful and seemed organized. Now let's go to what it should be improved in my opinion. Food was a disaster. I gave 2 stars since It arrived in clean plates and it had something that reminded of the original recipes in it. Let's start one step at a Time. We ordered three courses of pasta on grande size. A pesto, an arabiata, a Bolognese. All three came with pasta over boiled. The sauce in all three was of no flavor. You couldn't tell what you were tasting. Pesto had too much oil (not good quality) something that resembles in basil and that's it. Nothing to do with the authentic recipe. Arabiata was red sauce !? Premade!?!? with no taste of tomato whatsoever. Bolognese had a pinch of mince, was again with no flavor and sadly we couldn't finish either of those dishes. It was close to impossible. Spending 50 pounds for 3 portion of pasta, in which the real cost is below 7 pounds, needs to be served in perfection. I can understand the cost of maintenance, rent etc, but that needs to make food taste at least mediocre. You can't destroy the foundation of your restaurant to any reason. You shouldn't serve people that kind of food. How on earth did it even pass the quality check from kitchen, I ll never ever understand. What you tell me is that a trained cook/chef/ whoever, tasted those sauces and said "give it a go!" Was not wasted. With respect.. no way. Sloppy as f. I am truly sorry for that but even though I usually tent to let those things pass, this time I felt that I had to comment. It's sad because the whole restaurant could rise way above competition. You can tell that people invested a lot of money to decoration, kitchen etc. And it produces that food.. no way.

The pasta was very delicious, the pizzas were spectacular, very clean, very friendly and attentive to the customer. I really liked it. 5 people ate for 105.9 pounds.

I’ve visited these restaurants in various locations around the world—Budapest for years, Vienna, and several other cities—and I have to say, the one here in London is just as great. The experience is seamless and hassle-free. You can sit at your own table, place your order directly from the table without needing to deal with any waiters, and the food is brought straight to you. It’s such a convenient and well-thought-out system. The food is fantastic—amazingly fresh, incredibly tasty, and exactly what you’d want. The pasta, in particular, is outstanding. It’s so fresh and flavorful that I honestly find it difficult to enjoy pasta anywhere else now. The menus differ slightly in each country, but the quality is consistently high. Overall, the food, the system, and the experience are all excellent. Well done to the team for maintaining such high standards worldwide. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Momo was so easy to speak to , very helpful and enthusiastic, thanks Momo. I would prefer more chilli in my food. But I finished my plate clean so still great food. During this season it would be nice to have a warm environment to eat in, it’s chilling inside the restaurant.

I used to come to Vapiano every holidays with my family. Vapiano has changed their system on the orders, what used to be a quick meal, is taking so long, at least 40 minutes wait for the food. I asked for a ceasar salad and it wasn’t nice as I remember it to be. Another point… it was very cold inside even on a cold day outside. Sad to see that it cannot be one of my favourite spots anymore.

Momo was very nice - good hospitality

Momo was fantastic! From the very beginning when I walked in. She showed her glowing personality and when I asked to move tables; there is no service at all in the back of the restaurant, she didn’t blink twice on helping me out. Best service in any restaurant I’ve gone to since my holiday in the UK.

I really enjoyed my last visit to Vapianos!! The food was tasty and the portion sizes are good. (can never finish though) Food came quickly and staff were friendly.

A delightful experience! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or special occasion. The menu offers a variety of dishes with fresh ingredients and rich flavors. Service is attentive without being intrusive,and Mobaseer did a very good job.

The food was okay and arrived relatively quickly even at a busy time. The toilets are by far some of the disgusting ones I've ever seen in a restaurant. Of course, the guests are primarily responsible for their behavior, but cleaning should still be done urgently. Really disgusting.

Came here for lunch and it did not disappoint. Ordered pepperoni pizza and mac and cheese which both were 10/10. Decently priced too.

When I lived in London I went very often, I loved it and every time I come back I love going! the location, the spacious and comfortable place and the pasta is delicious!

My friends and I were served by Anisul and honestly we had the greatest and most wonderful experience here at Vapiano’s. The atmosphere and service was so friendly and warm making me sure that I will definitely come here again. Huge thanks to Anisul for making our experience 10/10 here.

The influx of South Asians and Middle Eastern into this country has kill the overall experience, this place is not exceptional. Server speaks with a very strong South Asian accent which is very difficult to understand. The “don’t care” attitude is killing this establishment. Food preparation can be still improve. Instead of pasta, it seems like my order looks like stir fried Asian noodles.

Big margherita pizza £9, small garlic-cheese bread £6 :))) Don't increase the price of the pizza please, because I think the price of the garlic-cheese bread is more expensive than the pizza. :))

To be honest I've always been a great fan of vapiano but this visit today, the service was so very poor. I was unfortunately dissatisfied with this visit and will think twice before attending again. We waited nearly 50mins for the staff to not know where the order was and for one of the staff to tell me the order was not even made or received. We were just left sitting there and I enquired twice before actually receiving my order. Very unhappy about that. I ordered pasta with chili, garlic oil and parmesan. I got just pasta unfortunately. It's really sad because Vapiano used to be a family favourite. It has really gone down hill. Think twice before attending, maybe the eating in service is better.

I ordered the four cheese arancini. They were far from the original arancini, even in size. 3 small balls paid £ 9 . And believe me they were not even good. Hard on the outside and the rice wasted on the inside. If you have to order, take something else but the arancini. Wasted money.

This is a different Italian restaurant, this is the 8th time I have been here.

Portions are tiny compared to how they used to be! I’m paying £9 for practically a children’s meal. Service slow had to ask for Parmesan three times and on top of that they charge you for bread now. I used to come here all the time and get bread and no one charged me because I had a meal and now they charge you for bread??? Vapianos is STINGY!!!

When in London, place of choice

Mac and cheese not good - small portion. Service was very bad - garlic bread didn’t arrive until the very end even though it’s a “starter”. Tap water was not given until end and I had to get up and ask the workers multiple times for updates on my order. Woman would not exchange mac and cheese and said that we would be charged 50% of the new order with no refund

Good experience overall. The location is quite good since it is located on a street adjacent to the famous Oxford Street. The restaurant is very cozy despite being quite large (two floors) and being a fairly busy place. The first courses, honestly, are not worth their price. We ordered some arrancini which were super small and were quite tasteless. We also ordered a Caesar salad which they only make with croutons and florets. It didn't have chicken and the sauce wasn't much. Now, the second courses are quite good, especially the quality and quantity of the pasta, which seems to be homemade. And the pizzas are very good. The truth is that if you like pasta, this place does not disappoint. Then the price-quality ratio is very good. We ate some linguine with salmon and cream and some tagliatelli chicken al afredo and tagliatelli carbonara. All very good. The pasta dishes are the crown jewel here. And the staff is very nice (like almost all of London) and very helpful. And finally, perhaps also a negative point is that you cannot pay in cash. Card only, but that too in most places in London.

Use to love this place but covid has changed the atmosphere and price and quality to worse... 2nd time I visit since it reopened after lockdown and I think it's the last, bread is ridiculously charged, even butter you have to pay for, food over cooked by non passionate Indian cooks, all staff are Indian talking in there language amongst each other. It doesn't feel like an Italian joint anymore, just another restaurant using the Italian menu and name to sell. R.I.P Vapiano...

Good food, Mobassir was a great host!

Overall, we were dissatisfied with our first visit to Vapiano’s. Not the worse experience I’ve had, but by far not the best. Service was poor and impersonal - I despise ordering through a QR code but that’s personal taste. There was always a queue by the door despite having lots of seating available upstairs. Seating was uncomfortable and definitely not disabled friendly. Very low seats in the booth areas, which were down stairs, or high seating in the wheelchair accessible areas. Our tables weren’t cleaned after the previous people left, so we ate with old parmesan and spilled drink on the table. Food was okay, nothing special - starters were probably the best part. The food was definitely fresh and the pasta was nice, however, mine came luke-warm. There was no lock on the disabled door and since my mother has poor mobility she wasn’t able to climb the flight of stairs in order to access the other toilet's. The disabled toilet was also down a couple of stairs, not lift accessible as far as I could see.Toilet’s were dirty to add to the frustration. I wouldn’t dine here again in a hurry.

Never had such bad pasta. Simply terrible!! No service, the only thing that tasted good was the starter for £5 which was simply amazing. Very impersonal!

I ate at VaPiano on Oxford Street last week and it was fantastic! The starters were great and the pasta was delicious! I had a carbonara...what can I say, phenomenal!!! The staff was well organised and friendly throughout, certainly thanks to the great management and professionalism of Sidali, who was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it!

Not to mention the outstanding service given by One of the workers who are unfortunately forgot their name but we nicknamed him “cheesebae” A derivative of salt Bae considering His generosity In the amount of cheese grated on my and my friends dishes. overall it was an exceptional visit to the restaurant And would recommend for anyone who fancies a good dinner night.

No one comes over to see if customers need service, freezing cold first floor, and terrible service to order food. Paid full price as well..a further update.they email me to say how sorry they are and thank me for my email. They also stated that they would like to bear in mind my experience and would like to improve next time..in other words they have taken my money, not offered the service nor any compensation to try and win me back and instead would like me to come back on my account and eat there again. The level of stupidity is on next level

Disgusting service, vile chicken salad “with no chicken”

We ordered garlic dough balls to share and it took 15mins for plates ta arrive despite asking numerous times. By this time the main course arrived and it was cold and tasteless. The menu has changed and service / quality of food has deteriorated. I ordered q pesto pasta - there was hardly any sauce and DID NOT resemble the photo in the menu. I certainly won't be coming back in a hurry.

Llegamos al restaurante todo bien, conseguimos nuestra mesa y empezamos a hacer el pedido pero la app no funcionaba el tiempo de espera era de 45 minutos y la persona que toma nuestro pedido se toma su tiempo para venir esperamos 25 solo para pedir, pedimos las bebidas que falsifican para llevar a la mesa vemos el asiento de bebidas en la barra durante unos 20 minutos más preguntamos a un miembro del personal sobre nuestras bebidas el bergantín arriba pero traen mitad y otra mitad de asiento allí en otros 10 minutos , botellas de Prosecco entregadas a la mesa pero sin vasos, algunos de nosotros recibimos las bebidas algunos de nosotros no. Nuestra comida ha sido entregada a la mesa después de 1 hora y 10 minutos , la comida es increíble y sabrosa, pero de nuevo la comida se nos entregó paso a paso la primera persona revivir la comida y la última persona que recibe la diferencia de comida de 35 minutos entre el almuerzo ha sido individualmente comer no todos juntos. Muy mal servicio y atención al cliente. No lo siento o cualquier disculpa por cualquiera de los problemas.

45 minute wait for a dish thant takes 90 seconds to cook? Because my order was forgotten i didnt get the extras i paid for either. Has gone downhill since the days where you used to queue. They also seat people in order instead of by party size so had to wait behind a group of 8 people despite there being many tables for two available

Mesbah, was a very attentive server, he made the experience at the restaurant way better, the food was amazing with some regards, the garlic bread didn't taste like any garlic and the pistachio tiramisu should have better presentation (it tasted fine but the look was a it off putting) the mains were amazing as always and the new marry me pasta was to die for
