The food was a little late which was surprising for a pre order, however it was worth the wait, everything was delicious!

Ordered takeaway which too ages to arrive and have more than one issue with incorrect allergens. My other half ended up ill (something that was labelled vegan obviously had dairy in it) and they were very unhelpful on the phone and quoted 'our recipies change regularly' - bit of a joke really.

Tasty jhal muri , and dosa with sambal. The latter not so well filled as usual. A complimentary aloo gobi was a disaster - the potatoes were hard and undercooked!!

DONT TRUST ALLERGENS! Great idea to have great vegan and gluten free options. However the menu contradicts the Just Eat menu which also contradicts what we were told on the phone. A coeliac friend was sent a Meal with gluten in which was labelled gluten free on the website. Over the phone we were then told the recipes change regularly as if this was amusing. I also ordered dishes all labelled vegan as have a lactose allergy, however had a bad reaction to at least one of those dishes so please don’t trust that vegan actually means vegan! Where else have you ever seen a vegan peshwari naan…. ? 🧐

The flavours and colours of the curries and dishes here are so unique! Quite unlike other places I’ve been to. Plentiful vegan options, and really imaginative and innovative dishes. Feels like a magical menu exploration every time, still got many more to try… been coming here on and off for 3 years and has never disappointed us 🥰🧡🙏

Not ordered for a while but will order again soon. Exemplar of what a takeaway should be - delivered promptly, piping hot, delicious and plenty to satisfy a starving hermit. Food was restaurant quality and can still savour the pungent spices. Lovely.

2.99 plus 8% gratuity for a late order and for some tender tofu which just tasted like it was doused in sweet chilli sauce, really disappointed I've ordered here before and enjoyed it but this order was not worth the price

We had a takeaway, the food was very tasty but our experience of the in house delivery service was poor, we waited an hour and a half and the food was cold, it really spoiled the experience.

I ordered a sizzler platter for two, but it came in one box with a portion for one even it's advertised for 2. The food smelled bad, tasted awful, and wasn’t fresh. My sister vomited after trying it. Never ordering from here again. Waste of money.

I would have given full marks but because I specifically asked for one of the meals to be chilli free to still came with heat. The food is delicious I only wish I could eat spicy food. My family loved it and when they come over for a weekend we always book a table there.

What a lovely restaurant! The food was amazing! I was recommended by a few people that this was a must-do in Hyde. I kept putting if off for no good reason. I went last evening and was impressed. The food is unlike anything I've tried before. The presentation of the food was wowsers! The atmosphere is quite nice. The owners/servers were kind and friendly. I left feeling full. I will most certainly be back. This may easily become my favourite new place. :-)

I had my friend visiting from Hereford and she is vegan and has to eat gluten free too, and Vidic met our every need. We were surprised to see the restaurant empty on arrival, but it was a mid week Wednesday evening. The food was just so tasty and delicious. I can highly recommend the Veg Manchurian Mixed Vegetable Dumplings as they are just an absolute taste sensation. My friend had a tofu curry and said it was delicious too. There is a car park behind the restaurant building that is just £1 in the evenings too. Delicious food. Give it a try.

Coconut chutney is amazing, dosa batter needs a lot of improvement and it is not well fermented or it over fermented, momos chutney is the best part and I never saw uttapam with potato mash on top all my life in south India, garlic non is not fresh, paneer butter masala is also not fresh over all the food is okaish

Price is too high and portion were small. Kachoris and papri was not fresh. not as good as expected.

I highly recommend this place for vegetarians. Variety of food options and great food. I loved the food I ordered. Aubergine curry and Tandoori Mushrooms was great.

This place is amazing ! Authentic, tasty, lovely staff, great vibe. Our first visit today but we will definitely return. Not overpriced and good portion sizes. Huge menu which is normally not a great thing, but all the food we had was fresh and packed with flavour. Very surprised the place was empty on a Friday night, go support this place its very worthy of it.

Went for a thali with my husband for our anniversary. I was a bit concerned to note that the food hygiene rating on the door was a three. Only people in there and no atmosphere. Place wasn’t clean. Napkins dirty, floor and skirting boards very dirty, spiders in the corner, grease and pen marks on the wall. Food was okay, had better, had worse but definitely wouldn’t return due to the lack of cleanliness and atmosphere.

My favourite vegan food ever! You won’t find better vegan food anywhere - I could eat here every day for the rest of my life and never get bored. I strongly recommend the Mowglihar Tofu.

Had a thali for 2 people. Absolutely delicious. Had poppadoms beforehand with 4 lovely dips. The thali was huge with a great selection of different dishes, rice and two different breads. Couldn’t eat it all so took home the rest. Would highly recommend.

It's super hard to find a proper Indian vegetarian restaurant! Found this Gem in Hyde. Great service all veggie dishes. Fresh.. affordable too. Try the Dosas and veggie kebabs. Went back twice in the same week 🙈

I rang up on 28th of March and booked a table for bank holdiay Monday for 4 adults and 2 babies. The gentleman I spoke to confirmed the booking and took my name. We rang up on the day as we were running late to change the booking by 30 mins. As no one answered we left messages. When we arrived the shutters were down and it appeared to be closed. Absolutely shocking, Why take a booking if you are not going to be open. I understand some thing could have happened on the day however there was no notice on the shutters or phone call Despite calling them and leaving messages they have not responded

I always drive past this place so many times and wanted to try it, I ordered it the other day. I ordered three curries and it took 2 hours to deliver three streets away (I could have gone and got it myself). I had to ring twice to see where the order was. I was told waiting for the driver and the 2nd call, I was told the driver just got back and would give me 30% off the next order, I told them I would never order again. Food finally came and the curries were all not to my liking all tasted weird so waste of time and money. Also the 30% off came on top lid saying 30% off Hyde not being funny anybody could write that and claim it.

Quantity was very less than actual. it was almost 50% less. very disappointed

My friend and I visited on a Friday evening and had a brilliant eating experience. We booked by phone and we picked a seat on arrival as the restaurant was fairly quiet. We sat in a booth that was comfortable and peaceful. We chose roasted popadom with chutneys followed by onion bhaji to follow. For my main I ordered a dim sum which had a spicy sauce and was very tasty. My friend had a tofu curry and garlic naan. Everything was delicious and some flavours we had not experienced before. Be aware that you have to pay by cash, which took us by surprise a little. Definitely worth a visit whether you are vegan, vegetarian or not.

I have been going to Veggie Vedic for many years, our beloved restaurant that I would travel many miles to every few months. I brought my parents and friends on many occasions because as I couldn't wait to share the beautiful welcome of the owners and have them taste their amazing cooking skills. I got to know the owners and I valued their efforts and warm welcome we would always receive. So why not go for Christmas day I thought? I'll bring my family and introduce another friend to Vedic, share a beautiful home cooked meal supporting our favourite independent restaurant. Little did I know this decision turned out be a mistake. I booked the reservation a month in advance receiving confirmation. 2 days before Christmas I received a call from vedic explaining a large party had recently booked so could I arrive earlier? I explained I couldn't arrive earlier is that ok? they said "no problem come down." Christmas day, we arrive on time for our reservation. We were greeted by a waitress with a very sturn and stressed face who took our starter orders and pushed for our mains. I explained I would like to order the starters first without being rushed as I had travelled some distance and don't want to rush our Christmas day meal. Shortly after the starters arrives a familiar waitress approaches (apologies I have forgotten her name, she is the wife of owner Rahul) explaining that a large party will be arriving shortly so could we please hurry, I kindly explained that we will not be rushing, it's Christmas day, we booked in advance and their lack of organisation skills are not my problem. She replies "ok" then leaves. After finishing our mains Rahul's wife approaches again but this time informs us we cannot eat any mains in the restaurant, but if we place an order and take out they will give us free of charge. Can you imagine the frustration and shock of myself and family, on Christmas day being chucked out having been given this unfair ultimatum. In essence, Vedic received a large booking after other customers had placed their booking (well in advance) and threw our their 'valued' customers (as they say on Facebook) because profit clearly matters more than any values they evidently don't have. We were penalised due to a lack of their organisational structure. I explained they had ruined our Christmas day and would not be returning to a place who values profit and lacks integrity. Sorry Vedic, very disappointed after seeing how you treat valued customers. Won't be returning.

Lovely food and a good service

A rare find on just eat. Indian food with loads of (clearly marked) vegan options, good portions, not too oily and very reasonable prices. Delivery service was spot on too. Our new favourite for Indian take away Update Jan2024: delivery has been very slow lately (last 3 orders), today was over 2 hours, and there are no delivery updates (on Deliveroo) because they handle their own deliveries. Bear that in mind and order early!

This place is awesome. Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Definitely get the Chaat Platter as a starter. We had a few dishes (group of 4) and we loved them all. Super reasonable prices too.

Really lovely fresh food. Portion sizes are generous too and the food was still boiling hot on arrival. The last 2 times we have ordered however it has taken close to 2 hours to deliver.

Delivery was over 1hr 30mins late. Considering I ordered pre in advance at 3.19pm for delivery at 6pm when I got home from work on a Tuesday as well for it to then turn up an hour and a half late is a joke! Roti so solid and cold. Food was cold, haven't a clue where the driver went as he went to the wrong address AGAIN! pilau rice was overcooked and clumpy, sauce tasted sour and cold, mushrooms had a stodgy texture to them, its like it all went from bad to worse? Only thing that was okay was the poppadoms. No apology from the restaurant when i called and made up every excuse under the Sun. Okay, everyone deserves a second chance, this was their second chance. Won't be back and will never order from here ever again! Food wasted and binned. If you can't deal with online deliveries then don't do them, have a bit more organisation and also compassion for your customers when a problem arises!

Food was cold and delivery over an hour from this previous order. Decided to give them one last chance as their food is usually good. Won't be ordering again from them or visiting the restaurant. Placed the order Mid afternoon for delivery at 6pm. Now 7.15pm and no food. Shouldn't be on the platform if you can't deliver orders on time or at all!

Starters were better, main curries very not good at all, I wish I could teach the chef how to use masala for curries. (Sorry to say) I had to look for alternatives to feed myself in home and two carries gone waste But not worth for the price at all These high google reviews not doing justice for the very average curries

Order was late and had to speak to two people to try and sort it out. Neither knew what to do or what had happened. Food arrived luke warm.

Fantastic fresh food. The dishes with sauces are on the spicy side so be aware if you only like mild dishes. Chat puri and so on are amazing. From experience, it often takes longer than it says for the food to be prepared (we normally add 10-15 mins so we’re not waiting around).
