If you’re ever in Dewsbury and craving a delicious pizza, Vento Pizza is an absolute must-visit! I stumbled upon this local treasure while in the area, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Upon walking in, I was warmly greeted by Hassan, the owner of the place. His warm and friendly demeanor immediately made me feel welcome. Hassan hails from Lebanon, and you can truly feel the Middle Eastern hospitality in every interaction (I believe Lebanon is considered part of the Middle East, but regardless, the warmth transcends borders!). Hassan took the time to share his story with me, and it’s clear he’s poured his heart into this business. You can see it in every detail—from the spotlessly clean environment (seriously, the place sparkles) to the way he carefully prepares each order. It’s no wonder they have a 5-star hygiene rating proudly displayed in the shop! I was particularly impressed by Hassan’s commitment to hygiene. He changed his gloves before making my pizza, which might seem like a small thing, but it speaks volumes about his dedication to maintaining the highest standards. It’s the kind of attention to detail you rarely see in local takeout spots, and it made me appreciate the care he puts into his craft. Now, let’s talk food! I ordered a Meat Feast Pizza with a side of chips, and wow, it did not disappoint. The pizza was served up quickly, with fresh, flavorful ingredients and a perfect crust. Every bite was a delight. While they don’t accept card payments, Hassan was incredibly accommodating. He pointed me to a nearby newsagent with a free cash withdrawal ATM. And to top it off, he even started preparing my pizza while I was gone to save time—talk about trust and customer service! That level of authenticity and care is rare, and it made the experience even more memorable. The convenience doesn’t stop there—there’s free on-street parking right outside the shop, and a small bench inside if you need to wait for your order. The menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of options, so there’s something for everyone. In summary, Vento Pizza is a shining example of what makes local businesses so special. Excellent customer service, top-notch hygiene, and, of course, delicious food. Hassan has created something truly special here, and I can’t recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back!

At first got our order wrong for the first time ever which is understandable due the fact they are busy, after letting them know they did everything in their power to rectify the situation. They made our whole order again and even threw in some cans of pop, thank you for this , brilliant customer service and good quality food! 👍🏻

Asked the owner for his recommendations and he suggested Asian style pizza and a mix grill calzone, both absolutely spot on, fresh and not greasy like other pizza places. Will defo be back!

Cheesy stuffed edge applied to the wrong pizza. Therefore, both pizzas incorrect. Unacceptable when paying over £30 wouldn’t put up with it in a restaurant so not putting up with it via this platform. Refund request with evidence submitted. Won’t be coming back.

The food was clap cold, and the chips were rock hard. Never before have I had an issue with ventos but I was extremely disappointed

Well what can I say? The delivery guy was awesome! I inhaled the delightful smell from my bed. When sat in front of me I noticed the perfectly sliced donner meat. Overall it was absolutely outstanding, thank you for your beautiful service :)

Food arrived over 2 hours later. Food was disgusting and Luke warm wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. Cheese actually looked and tasted like plastic. Both me and my daughter went to bed hungry. Really disappointed.

1 hour 25 minutes for delivery. Chips soggy and warm at best. Onion rings cold and soggy. Pizza tasty but just warm. Cost of living crisis so this was a treat. Excuse from takeaway driver: we have been busy. Here is an idea: stop been greedy, turn off your machine and look after your customers before you loose them. Not impressed

Each ingredient within the order was very good quality. But i ordered a garlic chicken product but recieved a spicy product. I think it was in the tomato sauce, so im not sure if this is standard for all their products containing tomato sauce. I wasnt expecting this which is why i didnt let them know of my allergies when i ordered. If spicy things dont bother you i would reccommend because the quality was still very good.

Placed the order and delivery was one to one and a half hours which is a very long time. The food was lukewarm when it came and it tasted so bland, we didn’t enjoy any of it not even the chips, they were soo soggy and oily! The burger was processed and tasted so bland. It was a waste of money, never ordering from ventos ever again.

The calzone are epic! Sometimes you get one and they’re full of veg water and gloopy. I ordered the Asian calzone and it was packed full of meat and cheese and chillis. No gloop. Really enjoyed it. My only recommendation would be that you get a pot of tomato and basil sauce to dip it in, but delicious.

Chilli con carne pizza was perfect! So tasty.. garlic sauce was also some of the best we have had. Don't eat many takeaways but when I do again, I won't think twice about ordering from ventos! Spot on!

Same as every other take away in the Dewsbury area: Disappointing and a complete waste of money. Absolutely no care for the customer: Cheesy Chips (solid block of potato) Garlic dip watered down to save money. 20 minutes late. Do yourself and the community a favour, stop supporting these takeaways and go out to a restaurant who will care and provide a quality product.

The food was beautiful as always but the delivery driver was rude no hello, no thank you. He hardly gave me chance to get to the door before knocking again and when the door was opened he handed the food and just turned round and went
