What a beautiful cafe sat outside lovely tables with parasols food was amazing toasties were beautiful and 3 pink lemonades on hot day will be visiting again soon staff freindly great parking

I would like to thank Stan a lovely friendly chap . I was in with my Son on Sunday when my card wouldnt work. Stan paid out of his own money so my son could have a ice cream. What a gentleman you are . Hope you get a pat on the back going above and beyond your duties. Thanks Stan 😊 Thanks Again.

Come to this place quite a lot as I walk in this park with friends.always a coffee and a toastie which are ok and not overly priced or anything. But never ever will spend money in here again the man with the beard who works there is so so rude bordering on nasty. Last 2 visits me and my friend ordered our food and drink we were pleasant with him but he just looked at us like we had 2 heads slammed our food down we paid and left we actually laughed and said "maybe hes having a bad day" as nobody could be that rude without a reason ......well no Visited again a few weeks later realised we didn't have a mask.... as its takeaway only and only 2 customers at a time we thought we would ask we would stand outside and order from there then just step in whilst the server stepped back to make a contact less payment.... oh no fair enough said nasty man didn't want to serve us without masks I totally would have accepted that but the manner he spoke to my friend was shocking!! I'd love to know what his problem is.

Called in the Vernon park cafe today whilst out walking with my Grandaughter. Pleasant experience and really pleased with an excellent service, good food and crafts for children. Reasonable prices and choice of food. Really couldn’t ask for more. Well done Vernon Park

Wow! Fancied something different- and we weren't disappointed. Lovely take out menu- halloumi taco bowl and sweet potato fries. Out of this world- fresh, tasty and generous portions. May have found a new favourite.

263 newbridge LaneWent in a group of 11 for Christmas trip on 6th December 24; the food was excellent we all received are hot meals together and although we didn't all have the same everyone said there meal was lovely and was also hot. The staff were friendly helpful and food was perfect also a very lovely atmosphere.

HatherlowThe interior of the pub is classic and traditional, and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. The pie was delicious, and there were good-sized portions. I can’t say enough about how good the mains were! The service was efficient, and our server was knowledgeable about the menu when we asked questions. The only downside was dessert. I ordered the Four Layer Fudge Cake, which was only two layers and quite small and tasteless. The ice cream was nice, but for £8.25, I felt hard done by.

Lower UnderBankBeen here a few times now. Good range of hot drinks- coffees, teas, speciallty drinks like Frappés. Decent cake and muffins also available. Sandwich options are a little limited, but good customer service, and didn't have to wait long. Reasonably priced but the seating can be a bit limited. Worth going.
