A few customers complained about their lack of professionalism which the staff ignored. People were queuing up and walked out due to the unprofessional and lack of service. I won't be taking anyone to this restaurant. Very disappointed.

I recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, it left a lot to be desired. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait as there were people ahead of us, which was understandable. After about five minutes, the host seated us, and we noticed that the menus were already on the table. We were ready to order, but it took another 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, which was frustrating. When our waiter finally came, she was kind and apologetic, acknowledging the delay. After placing our order, we were told that the food would arrive as it was prepared—starters and mains would come out at different times. We were okay with this, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. The first dish to arrive was a wok-fried greens dish, but to our surprise, there was no cutlery on the table. We had to request utensils, which, frankly, should be standard practice upon seating. Once the cutlery arrived, we noticed that the greens were stone cold, which was disappointing. We sent the dish back, hoping for a better experience. Then, the chilli squid came out, but once again, it was served cold—this is inexcusable for a dish that should be piping hot. While the mains and drinks were fine, the real letdown came when we ordered a white chocolate and ginger cheesecake. We placed the order with the waiter, but after about 10–15 minutes, we had to ask what was taking so long. To our disbelief, the waiter informed us that the cheesecake wasn’t available. Why wasn’t this communicated to us earlier? The lack of communication between staff was evident, and we ended up wasting both time and money. Despite the fact that there appeared to be plenty of kitchen and front-of-house staff, the experience was poor. In the end, the service was lacking, the food temperature was unacceptable, and there were significant communication issues. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I won’t be returning.

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly rude and unprofessional. When we tried to address our concerns, even the manager failed to handle the situation properly, showing the same dismissive and condescending attitude as the rest of the team. It’s such a shame because we love Wagamama, but this branch is a total disappointment. The poor customer service and lack of professionalism have completely put us off. We will definitely not be returning to this location.

Ordered online ahead of time and given a pick time. Arrived and had to wait 10mins before my presence was acknowledged, then the server said she'd check if ready and went off to serve someone else without checking first. 20mins after arriving she said it wasn't ready. 10mins later she asked for my order number, and came back with my order a minute later, everything was cold and obviously sitting there whilst I was waiting rather than freshly cooked.

The service in this place has hit rock bottom. I’m a real fan of the food but the quality of the non-existent service is just inexcusable. Been here twice in 3 months and on both occasions we had the same issue. You literally have to hail-down a waiter, who then reluctantly takes your order. Absolutely no pleasantries, may as well have been taken by a robot. The staff are clearly not trained and there doesn’t appear to be anyone in charge. This is the worst experience I have had at any of the Wagamama restaurants. This needs urgent attention.

I went over to have a warm meal with my friend, I enjoyed the food it was prepared beautifully and the general atmosphere was clean and tidy but there was a specific waiter that stood out to me. Chariff was so kind and helpful, he served us with a smile, every time we asked for help he was there for us, he double checked on our food to make sure nothing was wrong with it. We wanted to leave a review for him but we didn’t pay online so I had to leave the review here, I hope it reaches the right audience and manager!!!

Branch; Wagamama enfield southbury leisure park Date; 5th Jan 2025 My experience was far below the standard I expected from Wagamama, and I feel compelled to bring these matters to your attention. Upon arrival, I noticed several other customers complaining about having waited over an hour for their takeaway orders. This immediately raised concerns about the efficiency of the service. We had ordered the chilli squid which was delivered by what i assume is a manager who, while walking to our table, dropped a few pieces of squid on the floor. Shockingly, he laughed, handed us the incomplete plate without any apology, and proceeded to pick up the fallen food as if we had not seen and walked away. This was both unprofessional and highly unhygienic. When our mains arrived, the ramen was cold and tasted as though it had gone off, after speaking to a member of staff and asking to speak to a manger, we once again were ignored. I then ordered a drink from the menu, but the staff seemed completely unaware of its existence. I had to retrieve the menu myself and point out the item I wanted. The same manager who mishandled the chilli squid later brought me said drink and proceeded to roll his eyes and stare at me. He then walked away, and began laughing with his colleagues. This behavior was unacceptable, and to make matters worse, other staff members then turned to smirk, laugh and stare at our table one by one. When I stood up to leave, intending to speak with a different manager about this appalling service, every member of staff avoided eye contact and walked away, seemingly unwilling to address the situation. This experience was far from what I would expect at Wagamama. The complete lack of professionalism, courtesy, and hospitality demonstrated by your staff is deeply disappointing. As a couple going out for dinner the last thing we had expected was disrespect from staff members, which we assume they deemed as acceptable because we are a “young” couple. No one should be treated differently, everyone should be treated with the same amount of respect. I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and ensure that all your employees are trained in providing proper customer service.

This is the second time I have visited this particular wagamamas. Firstly, I seated myself after waiting patiently. Secondly, I grabbed a menu myself and it was only after the rest of our party arrived that we were acknowledged. Food is not to my liking that's not to say the food is bad just not my cup of tea. However I will give credit where it's due-the bao buns are very good but tiny morsels order 2. The facilities are very good and the general atmosphere is nice. I cannot compliment the service although my party did tip one person in particular but I made them aware that gratuities are shared? It is pricey mind you..

Mateo was outstanding. He was friendly and willing to support our choices. He answered so many of our questions. He is a top man. The food was good and I really liked the mini dishes for variety. It was family-friend and our child liked the rice and udon noodles. The crayons allowed for drawings. The firecracker was quite pricey for £16 and so few, small prawns. But the food was good. The toilets were generally clean, but did notice that they were small and noticed paper on the ceiling. I would recommend this branch because of the food and Mateo.

I ordered a chicken Ramen with extra chicken and three tea stained eggs upon my food being delivered to my table. I came to the realisation that I was missing part of my meal. Fed Federica happily assisted me with helping me acquire the missing part of my Mil after previously trying with another member of staff she assured me if I needed anything else to waive her down as she is happy to take time out of her working schedule to assist me with any of my personal necessities, I couldn’t be happier with this service thank you very much for your time Definitely would recommend to come down and dine if Frederica is holding down the fort

Absolutely diabolical service yesterday. Staff seem to be badly trained. Appreciate Saturday night is busy, we had 3 different members of staff get our orders wrong, a total mess. Please train your staff members, to at least pretend they like to be there, serve with a smile it doesn't cost much. There was zero attention to detail, wrong food and drinks ordered, even the bill had extra wrong items on there. This was by far the worst waggamamas experience. 0 service charge was paid and rightly so.

GREAT! I don't know how but they turned around 180'. We had a NICE experience the last 2 times we went there. A few months ago wasn't so great [and on a few occasions we decided to travel further to Canary Wharf instead. ] The Enfield atmosphere wasn't that customer-focused, but now, they changed and it is really lovely to see a good difference. Well done to the new team. 👏🏻 The food was great so compliments to the kitchen staff too. They all deserve a bonus!

Guy called Alex stated that if you make an order on Deliveroo and you call the restaurant to inform them that you want your steak well done that apparently that’s not possible only when you order in person which is conplete non sense I’ve ordered from Wagamama for years and never heard such thing the other supposed manager in there today 14/10/2024 did not want to identify himself which in my opinion is completely unacceptable for a manager to not identify themselves id like this to be looked at very seriously and for the appropriate action to be taken.

Having been a loyal customer for years, I am accustomed to a certain standard from Wagamama that I feel was not met during this visit, leading me to question the consistency and professionalism at this location. On 14/10/2024, I placed an order through Deliveroo, including a steak dish. As is common in other restaurants, including other Wagamama branches, I expected that I would be able to request my steak to be cooked to my preference. However, upon calling the restaurant to confirm that I wanted my steak well-done, I was told by a staff member named Alex that it was “impossible” to accommodate this request unless ordered in person. This response was both surprising and frustrating, as I have frequently ordered from Wagamama and have never encountered such a restriction. The explanation given—that the steak “cooks inside the takeaway box”—seems illogical and unlike any policy I have encountered. Additionally, Alex informed me that it is not Wagamama’s practice to provide extra sauces for takeaway orders, despite the fact that most other restaurants and all Wagamama branches I have ordered from have always accommodated this simple request without question. This inconsistency not only creates confusion for customers but also significantly detracts from the overall dining experience. Furthermore, when I requested to speak with a manager to seek clarity on these issues, another individual, who claimed to be the manager, refused to identify himself. In my opinion, it is unacceptable for a manager to withhold their identity from a customer, especially in response to a complaint. This lack of transparency only serves to exacerbate the frustration and leaves a poor impression of your team’s dedication to customer service. Given the above, I urge Wagamama to look into this incident thoroughly. I believe that both the staff’s behavior and the confusing policy explanations need immediate attention to ensure that your longstanding customers receive the high standards we have come to expect. I trust that appropriate action will be taken, and I look forward to your response. Thank you for addressing this matter seriously.

Places Food & Drink Order 25minutes later… here is your main 15minutes later… here is your drink 20minutes later… here is your starter 10minutes later… here is your other persons drink 15min later… here is your other main 10mins later… here is your other starter… This Place is INCREDIBLY DISORGANISED. Do not waste your time or money. They will come to your table 3/4 times during your sitting trying to serve you somebody else’s starters or mains as they don’t even know what food is going where. You will have a much better experience sitting in McDonald’s spending a quarter of the price. Who ever the manager is of this store, probably needs to hand there resignation in and go and find himself a job he can actually handle.

Thank Heavens for Wagamamas in Enfield, especially when you are new to the area. In this unlikely location - immediately off the A10; it is near a cinema and a gym - it is superbly satisfying and convenient for a drop in. The food out of the kitchen is fresh and wholesome and even though the staff are run ragged, they hold it all together with welcoming politeness. Perfect take home after a long day and brilliant after a matinee movie. Be warned, it is a hot family favourite at the weekend, and so it should be.

We visited on a Saturday afternoon (2 adults and a toddler). The food was very good when it eventually arrived, but the service was very poor. When we arrived, it took the staff ages to even acknowledge us. We were eventually seated at a table and we were ready to order quickly, but nobody came over to take our order. After a long wait, we finally managed to ask someone to take our order. The food then came out before our drinks order and we had to chase for this as it had been forgotten. Overall, an underwhelming experience. We wouldn't visit this branch again.

Mr. Kazi personally checked in multiple times, making us feel valued and well cared for. Man who took our order was very slow, we have allergies so accepted this as we didn't want to be sick. Food took ages. Asked for cutlery, 10 minutes later still none. Waiter brought food and pointed out I had asked for cutlery 10+ minutes ago. He went to get some, walked back towards us then turned back and went off to do something. I went and got some from another table, he eventually came back, I said don't bother I got my own. He then proceded to tell me I shouldn't speak to him like that. Our order was wrong, 2 things never arrived, one came eventually, asked for it to takeaway to be told they hadn't started it yet. One of the starters was supposed to be vegan was meat. Waiter said as we were leaving, I will look after you next time. Maybe you should have looked after us this time.

You’ll wait 15 minutes to be seated, then they’ll put you on some shared table with strangers, you’ll then wait 10 minutes to order and 30 minutes for your food, which will be nice but such a small portion only a child would be full. Then you’ll pay a hefty price for the experience. Also the manager is useless. He needs to spend less time polishing forks and talking to the female staff and make sure customers are happy.

Issue with food delivery times, the restaurant was not full at this time and did not appear to be busy, so not sure why we had to wait so long for the food to arrive. The staff were incredibly friendly but had us waiting for long periods of time, especially towards the second part of the meal, in addition to lengthy wait times, the deserts took ages to arrive. Food was nice enough but due to money for value and wait-time, not sure if we will come back to eat here as it does not feel worth it.

Okay so the food was soo good i forgot to take a photo… but just imagine it for me. Went for the curry chicken rice bow suggested by Carla, “it has a kick to it” but it was cool. Drizzled a little soy sauce sharif was really helpful Mateo made a tonic… it was a tonic. I dont really do tonics but i thought why not. It was okay but then he made me this sweet pink juice… ooft i preferred the sweet pink juice (anyone trying to order “ the sweet pink juice” clues in the name its sweet but nice too. Overall the service was really good!

This quiet and chilled place, a Saturday that wasn't busy with loud noises, just ba very relaxed atmosphere where staff tried not to impose the same corporate sales , but were trying to be friendly and polite , this helped but the time to interrupt with " hows your meal" just as you are eating a mouthful is a bit hard to explore. The food was good and. As with chains the menu is familiar and food tasted lovely however the cost of drinks are quite high . Thanks for a nice peaceful time 🌹

This was my previous review: "Great restaurant to have dinner." Unfortunately I have to downgrade it. - Service was subpart, we were waiting by the door for a while seeing our waitress just standing a few meters away, she then just gestured for us to follow her and sat down at a table while we saw her leave. We then spent 20 minutes waiting whilst she was just walking around until she decided to take our order. - Food was very bad, I mean actually tasteless, we were served 5 gyozas straight after asking for them, meaning that they had them ready to serve, they were really bad, hard and undercooked. Ramen was really really bad, I ordered the veggie, tofu not cooked, stock tasteless, cold and it was just noodles with a salad on top, there was much raw carrot! Puagh!

My friend and I visited Wagamama yesterday, and I was thoroughly disappointed with the service. Our food took an hour to arrive, and to add to the frustration, it was served cold, prompting us to send it back. Sadly, I ended up with food poisoning afterward, which raises concerns about the food's handling. Additionally, the drinks were subpar. Overall, my experience left much to be desired in terms of quality.

From the moment we walked into the door we encountered excellence. Seated promptly. Allowed to change table with grace. Alex helped with our order - confirming all the dishes are wonderful with clear descriptions. The dishes were fresh with delightful layed flavours. Tama and Chilli Squd, crispy then firm bites with perfect drizzles. Both our mains left us silent as we enjoyed every bite. We were warmly welcomed, the food well balanced in its sweetness, spicy, crisp and tender, frieldly attentive staff created a comfortable environment.

My 13 year old son choose here for his birthday dinner and also dictated the rating. The staff was on point with communication. We could see that the restaurant was full, but we didn't have to wait very long and while we waited we didn't feel forgotten or ignored. Our server explained that different parts of our order may come at different times because each dish takes a different prep time. We perfectly understood and because we knew what to expect we didn't have any unpleasant surprises. The dishes were delicious, flavourful and well presented. The atmosphere was energetic, but not overly stimulating.

Ordered on deliveroo and after waiting for 90 minutes, I tried to get in touch with the restaurant, they didn't pick up the phone and Deliveroo couldn't contact them either. On the app, I could see drivers kept going to the restaurant to pick up the food, they hung around for a bit then had to leave due to it not being ready. In the end, I had to ask deliveroo for a refund, this was after 2 hours of not recieving my order and Wagamamas not answering the phone. Avoid this site.

Service quality was poor. They first brought the wrong dish to our table, then they decided to bring the main dishes one by one, and to top that off, we had to wait for our starters to arrive one by one, after we finished our main courses. In addition, when the waiter decided to bring the first starter dish, he basically throw the starter on the table and walked off to the next table in a disrespectful manner. Our waiter changed 4 times during the period and the initial waiter failed to take the order properly. I'd recommend not going there on Saturdays, as they have the worst staff during that time it seems.

I like the way they take your details at the door so you can wait in your car. Then you get a message when its your turn along with a link showing you how long to wait. Staff are lovely and the food excellent.

Me and my son visited Wagamamas today for a spot of lunch! We was on our way elsewhere but he suggested Wagamamas as he loves the cauliflower bang bang! Plus me being a pescatarian I’m a fan of the tofu firecracker. We had the pleasure of having Mel meet all our needs! She always has a smile on her face! It’s always a pleasure to see her. The food was fantastic (Firecracker Tofu main, Ebi Katsu and cauliflower bang bang starters. I’m gutted the chocolate cherry ice cream is no longer on the menu it was the best desert ever!
