Disappointed that what they class as 'starters' on their menu came out long after the mains and some looked as if they'd been sitting waiting somewhere forgotten. I'd say order your starters first, then order mains after you've received them. We did state we wanted the starters as starters but was never advised they'd come out whenever. We queried when we received mains first and were just brushed off as if it was normal. Disappointing. Glasses for drinks felt very basic. Circa £10 for cocktail came out in an ikea type beaker. Also vegan ice cream and vegan mayonnaise with non vegan food ruins dishes. Please provide standard ice cream and mayonnaise. I didn't order a starter for myself or desert because of this and others in our party complained about the taste.

Started the new year with great food and service. Ken was especially fantastic, being the first customers of 2025 he even offered us a free drink!

We were the first customers of 2025 and were warmly welcomed by Ken, who also offered us a free drink for being the first there. He was so lovely and made our experience very special even if we felt very hungover. What a genuinely lovely guy! We had the pork belly ramen!

Just came back from a family meal to Wagamama and would like to say how much we enjoyed it. I will start by saying that I think the food portions seem to have shrunk somewhat while the prices do seem to have crept up However the food was good and as usual arrived quickly. I’d like to say our visit was definitely improved by the attentiveness of our server AJ who was pleasant and helpful

Wagamana always does what it says on the tin

Despite it being super packed, we experienced probably the best and fastest service ever in wagamama! We spend so much time in wagamama across England that our banks ring us concerned about our spending, but this experience was by far the best. Many thanks to Ken and his team for his uplifting spirit and joyful service, as well as his team, who were all hard at work to create a pleasant experience for all diners. We will absolutely return!

The food was what you would expect from a wagamamas, very down to earth with a special twist. The overall aesthetic of this place is phenomenal, we all really fawned over the bar at the entrance! The service was honestly below average, robotic and nothing to write home about. I would have preferred some enthusiasm from any member of staff, but it was quite consistent, except from a young lady at the bar. The servers do not make eye contact with you, they simply write a number on your card and walk off. This has the potential to be a 5 star review, if they hire staff that can smile or at least fake it til they make it.

Usually love coming to this wagamamas but they don't seem capable of handling a busy Saturday night. You shouldn't be serving drinks to queueing people when you have people sat down, with empty plates, still waiting for their drinks. We had to chase you up multiple times, even going to the bar mid meal to receive our drinks.

First time here. Was informed of the app that you can get as I knew nothing about it. Food was great as other Wagamamas and it's inside an old building which was interesting. Will come again as its the closest Wagamamas to me.

we were a group if 8 didnt book beforehand but the place wasn’t busy at 6pm. Service was excellent we were given a table quite near the door but that was ok. Started off with drinks, and followed the main course, Food was delicious and served within reasonable time, everyone finished their meal(empty plates). My colleague got given his main before starter which was a shame. Nonetheless we paid via the app and left, we wanted to thank staff but they were nowhere to be seen. Nice veggie/vegan menu

Lovely food here. Tasted amazing and had a cocktail which was delectable. Would say service was incredibly fast however I did feel somewhat rushed because of this. Soon as you had finished your dish the next one was out. The atmospehere was very busy all the time which can be overwhelming at times however I was seated some distance away from the chaos. I would say if you don’t like noisy environments then to consider a cafe might be an option.

Typical chain experience. The staff made up for a few of the typical problems found with large restaurants. I don't go to wagamama very often so every time I go the menu is different. A majority of the changes appear to be on the dietary side. Vegan options seem to be more limited than when they did their big drive to improve plant based options. They had run out of a type of tofu but the staff accommodated us by providing a custom order. One of our meals came with a lack of prawns and chicken, they explained that the dish is made in large batches and the ingredients can't be guaranteed They provided an extra portion of the chicken and prawns.

My partner and I have been here several times with our respective families and we haven’t had a negative experience once. Every occasion we have visited we have always been greeted by, served by and hosted by friendly staff who engage in good conversation above and beyond what some establishments offer. Food is always quick and tasty with no issues or problems. I have been to other Wagamamas that have had reduced menus or not been able to fulfil a full menu but this has never been the case at the Leamington one. In addition to friendly service and great food, there is also one hidden gem of a staff member who (since having small children in our family) has always gone the extra mile to entertain them on his way past and brings small props like the take away spoons to amuse them. I’d highly recommend a visit if Wagamama is your style of cuisine, we love the beef brisket ramen and the yakisoba.

Good staff but waga are clearly cutting back on ingredients. Go to Hyashi instead. Much better.

Probably the best place to eat as a vegan in leam and super careful with allergies.

We looked forward to another great meal at Wagamama's, only to be told the electrics had tripped several times and the kitchen extractors were not working 😦! Not Wagamama's fault, and the gentleman who gave us the news was very polite. Not sure how long it took to fix, as we tried several other restaurants (all full), so had a take away from Castle Balti instead. Hopefully next time we have more luck.

One of the nicest Wagamamas I have visited.

On entering, we were asked by the barman to wait for a 'host' to show us to a table. 10 minutes later, the 'host' appeared. It transpired on entering the restaurant that it was 1/3 full at the most and we had been standing in a deserted bar area being ignored, all while a member of staff walked around on their mobile. Food and drinks arrived fairly quickly. After we'd eaten the first courses, the dishes were removed but there was no attempt to offer us dessert or drinks (at which point 13 people remained in the restaurant) so, after 10 minutes, we paid via the QR code and left. The restaurant itself has temporary hoarding meaning you can no longer look out onto the Parade and at the far end of the space was an untidy area of boxes and blue plastic. The space has clearly deteriorated and now lacks the atmosphere it once had.

Very disappointing. We ordered Thai pad and steak noodles. Both over cooked. We had the impression it was not fresh and heated many times. The steak noodle very oily and tasteless. Wagamama had better quality food.

Everytime I've been here I've had to wonder if it is open. they have no host and today although Google said it was open at 11 they didn't plan to open till 1-2

Our first visit to Wagamamas. We enjoyed the food and the venue. Firecracker curry is delicious but is def only suitable for those who like food that is spicy!

It’s my birthday today and wanted to eat dinner here. So my husband went in to secure a table whilst I waited in the car. The waiter told him that’s fine. My husband said he was coming back as he was coming to help me out the car as I’m pregnant with our toddlers. Came back inside in under 2 minutes, the waiter had given our table to someone else! Now there was no other tables available. Kids were kicking off as they were hungry. Rubbish service seeing as the waiter was very nonchalant about it! First and last time there.

Set in a unique location. Staff were very friendly and Rosie was particularly nice to chat to and had a very helpful suggestion when trying to order Cha Han which wasn't on the menu.

We visit Wagamama in other towns, Leamington building seems a bit odd, like a temporary wall built across the old hotel ballroom. Quite soulless, really. There were three of us, and two had finished eating by the time the third meal came out. No one asked if we wanted more to drink or desserts. No wonder the restaurant group is losing money.

Premium beef was tasty but the overall price for rice and noodle dishes is not justified! Glad I tried it but would not eat there again!

In a word, disappointed. We're fans of Wagamamas & haven't been to this lovely building for a while. We came here today & everything was off. From the person who greeted us & gave us the table right next to the breezy door, to the service staff eating on the floor, to watching the chefs eat in the kitchen & having to ask for the usual crate which contains the cutlery, seasoning & soy sauce. We both had to add an unholy amount of seasoning to our lukewarm meals to make it palatable. Really, really bad. Also my Yaki Udon was only full of red peppers & leeks, not 1 piece of chicken or prawn in sight. Won't be coming here again.

A good place for some south Asian food. Staff are friendly and located at the City Centre. Definitely try the Ramen. Good choice of veggie options now available in the menu.

Although the service was prompt but the food was ....ordinary. I have eaten before traditional Japanese cuisine, and the one I had wasn't...Close to traditional. The ramen lacks in texture and umami.

Always loved this restaurant, but just recently not great service plus they have built a weird partition which cuts across the beautiful original cornicing which, is pretty shameful. Whoever signed that off should be shot! The great thing was that they had always been sympathetic to the original design of the building, which is a magnificent regency interior with beautiful original features. Also we went in last night and although fully understand they were busy, the lack of communication and when they finally did speak to us it was verging on rude. VERY disappointing. We left.

It is Wagamama so you know what you're going to get, however I would like to give a special shout out as we visited with a teenager with specific food allergies. The team handled us politely, with sensitivity and professionalism. I know this stuff is important and required by law but they did a good job from a customer experience point of view.

Thank you for delis food and service today. My son said you went out of the way to cater for his dietary requirements and this was the first time he and my husband had been. We Will be back again.

Great food and the staff is kind and always smiling

Food, for people who need feeding vaguely "Japanese" food in record time. Its consistent, efficient, its fine. The green tea, whilst free, is not a good ambassador for what green tea should taste like. The atmosphere is similar to a school dinner hall, loud and clattering.

Food was incredible and super tasty, quick service and waiting time for food was minimal.

We really enjoyed the meals: teriyaki steak soba, grilled duck donburi, raisukaree prawn curry, firecracker prawn curry, and chicken katsu curry. the starters were great as well, though the lettuce wraps were greatly missed. our server, Amy, was also lovely checking in on us intermittently and all around managing the busy restaurant calmly and professionally. I'm definitely happy to come back again.

Foods mid, why do they not have chips on the menu

They are always accomodating here and helpful. We turned up as a large group and they were able to seat us straight away and made notes of the allergies. The food is always hot and quick and the staff were really good. I know it's a chain but you can get very different levels of service but this is one of the better ones. I would recommend

It was my first time visiting Leamington wagamamas and I must say the experience was amazing. I was served by Harley who was extremely helpful and polite which made my day. It was my first trip but it won’t be my last!

Lovely staff, fantastic service & food. A young lady Tommy was absolutely phenomenal in her attention to eyes looking over for help, and her colleagues for missing plates. Also complements the chef for perfectly prepped food & explaining that vegetarian dishes are cooked completely separately on separate hobs, in separate dishes and utensils. Will bring more of the vegan family in future. 1️⃣❤️

Absolutely ridiculous service waiter spilt water over my phone as well as bringing me tap water when I clearly asked for sprite I don’t know what’s wrong with these people but they clearly don’t know what they are doing with their lives. Ridiculous and disgraceful I will never be returning and I will tell all my friends and family.

Food was quite good, I had the pad Thai. The service was decent. I wish our food had come out all at once. My husband had finished his main course by the time he got his appetiser. It was a Friday night so they were quite busy, and we waited about 15 minutes for a table, which wasn’t bad for how busy they were, but they have this nice big waiting area by the bar and no where to sit down. I think it make it a bit nicer if they just added a bench or something in the bar area.

The food was excellent. We went a little late for lunch and the service was very quick.

What does it take to serve rice hot? Clearly this was beyond the capability of this kitchen and how dare I complain (twice). Arrogance, ineffectual and clearly unhappy management at this branch.

What another wonderful Wagamama's vegan fiesta! Lovely service, great food and a brilliant location. This branch is located in an old hotel and the high ceilings make for an airy and comfortable atmosphere. The food was lovely again and we very much enjoyed it! We've ordered from/been to here a few times now. The food is always great and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

This chain restaurant is in a beautiful building on a lovely high street in a city with much to offer. They did eventually bring us some food. Those are the only good things I can say. The food was cold, the staff were sullen and unwelcoming. We arrived at 2140 on a Friday when the place closed at 2300. Yes - I get it that working in a chain restaurant probably isn’t the job of your dreams and you might be hoping to get away on a Friday, but that’s not a vibe that a service or hospitality worker should be giving to the customers or potential customers. We were met by a scowling staff member at reception who was visibly angry when we said we were looking to eat in. We were ignored and unseated for some time until I pushed the issue by walking into the dining area and stood there until someone had to acknowledge our group. Once seated, service was slow and the staff attitude was as cold as the food when it eventually arrived. At the time of writing, there is a lot of media coverage about businesses struggling to get staff in the correct economy, so maybe employees feel that they can just act like this in jobs they don’t even pretend to care about. Very disappointing and we will not return.

First time at Wagamama. Seating is utilitarian, staff were attentive but got some of our order wrong, this meant that everyone had finished by the time the correct meal appeared, at least it was deducted from the bill. My food was good, everyone enjoyed their meals.

Initially disappointed the Cod Mukutan Soba is no longer on the menu but chose Shu's Shick chicken which was delicious. Staff you excellent, we were first seated at a table with a bench I wasn't that comfortable on (I'm exceptionally tall and the bench was fixed to the floor) I promptly told the chap who seated us that this wasn't working for me. He instantly found a suitable table with regular chairs, never making me feel I was being a problem. Our server was Kata who was a perfect mix of friendly and professional, I go to several Wagamamas, the staff here make this one my favourite....

Staff are friendly, they gave us a table where we could keep our pram close to the table but my favourite dish wasn't served as well as I have had in other Wagamamas

Eaten here a few times and the food has always been fresh and spot on. The only thing that let it down slightly is how hot my Raman was. Usually it has a kick but still delicious. However, it felt like the chilli broth had three times more chilli than usual.

Bit loud service 2as slow but food was delicious

We've come here twice. Once, the service was great and efficient before rush hour. The other time was during the rush hour (after 530pm), the service was poor, as the waiter wasn't as attentive once food was served. Great food and drinks!

Went with a friend this time. Plates were cold so food wasn't very warm. Had our plates taken and the waitress said she'll come back with the dessert menu. She didn't come back with them so had to ask for the menu. No one came over to us to ask what we'd like for dessert. They just stood around not doing anything. Then when I ask for what I wanted which was 3 different flavours of one dessert they gave me just the one flavour. The menu is overpriced for what you get. Either they should cut down the prices or give bigger portions.
