This would have been a lower rating as unfortunately my rice was undercooked (Katsu Curry) and my girlfriend’s noodles were not so great either compared to other venues. However, the manager Marek immediately sensed something was off, and was so kind - he gave us a free round of drinks by way of apology and made everything ok! Top marks for him and for the service (if I could give 7 stars I would) which was amazing - we will be back!

Fantastic experience at Wagamama Wigmore Street! The pulled duck bun was tender and flavorful, the beef gyoza perfectly crispy, and the chicken gochujang packed a spicy kick. The tropical drink was refreshing and balanced the meal beautifully. Tarif, our server, was incredibly attentive and made the experience even better with his warm and friendly service. Highly recommend both the food and the exceptional hospitality!

Had an amazing experience at Wagamama Wigmore Street! Tarif, the host, provided outstanding service – warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The chicken katsu curry was delicious, and the lemon drink was perfectly refreshing. Highly recommend for great food and even better service by Tarif!

I normally wouldn't bother with sides and drinks but he recommended cherry blossom lemonade and ebi Katsu which were yummy. Also he was very patient with me when deciding what I wanted for food. We had a fantastic lunch, and Maliha made the experience even more enjoyable! She was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout. When I mentioned I was in the mood for something spicy, she recommended the Firecracker Ramen. It was my first time trying it, and I absolutely loved it! hello, so me and my friends went to this wagamamas in the evening and one of my friends is an employee at another wagamama. so we asked about the 50% discount workers get and one of the staff members said it was okay. then the lady told us to download “wagamamas soul club” to get get free gyoza so we did that. the food has come now and it is cold and my soup was very bland but i just asked for salt and enjoyed my food. from there now it is time to pay. they are now saying that we cannot have the soul club discount and the workers discount both added even though we were told we could before we even ordered. so now we are just there calculating how much everyone is going to pay but my friend that was the wagamama employee wasn’t happy. so we are just going back and forwards for like 30 minutes. they only took off one gyoza so with still had to pay for the other two that we were told were free…and then to make things worse, the manager or one of the workers actually ended up changing our table number so that we wouldn’t be able to leave a review on the app. they charged us the money and left. we also asked for the name of lady who served us and if she is reading this, i understand english is not your first language so please don’t feel like you did anything wrong. i personally am upset with the service we received today but it was just a language barrier and i understand the mix up. but yes, the service was very bad here. if you are reading this and thinking about going to a wagamama, i advise you to go to another one.

Nice inside and not too noisy for a wagamama's. Food was decent although a bit small, and soft drinks are bordering on 'fun' size but charged at large size! They give you more ice than drink!! Worst was the service...lots of waiting staff who seem to be just there to collect a pay check. We weren't greeted when entering and felt like one of those places you write down your own order, go into the kitchen, cook it and serve yourself ...then leave a large amount of money for the privilege! Our waitress had the cheek to ask if we were going to leave a tip. We did of course...cos we're kind and nice customers...the best kind tbh ☺️...but certainly the tip wasn't deserved! I wouldn't come back to this Waga's...unless they drop the drink to 99p and main dish to £2 max! Let me know Waga's when this happens...I'll be waiting 😘

I came here a Saturday evening so did expect it to be busy, however I would say it was relatively quiet from what I have seen before. I have a nut allergy and stated when I got there so I understand the protocol of having to get the manager to take our order. He takes it and then we wait. After 40 minutes we start noticing that people who came after us are receiving their food and I know they have to clean the stations in the kitchen but surely it does not take that long! When I asked a waitress she goes to check on the food and I can see her puzzled alongside other managers and the manager who took my order, but instead of that manager coming over to apologise and own up to the fact that they had forgotten our food she came back and lied that it was just the process of doing nut allergies. And I know she lied because when our food came I receiving a yaki soba chicken and prawn instead of a yaki soba yasi….i am vegetarian and manager who took my order knew that because offered to make it vegan.

Totally indifferent service. Nobody at the entrance, waited around a little and after a bit decided to venture into the almost empty dining area, only to be shooed back to the entrance verbally and with arms waving like a stray dog by a server and admonished to wait. When finally seated, no one came to take my order. When I flagged someone down, I was told curtly “I’m.l not your server”. Wow. Wagamama means “selfish” in Japanese but maybe they should add “rude”to this place also.

I visited expecting a decent dining experience, but unfortunately, it fell flat in more ways than one. The service was disappointingly poor; the staff seemed indifferent and inattentive. I ordered an iced matcha and strawberry latte, and when it arrived, there was no ice. Upon asking for ice, I was told they didn't have any. Additionally, straws were out of stock, which should have been communicated at the time of ordering. The lack of attention to simple details made the entire experience frustrating. Overall, I wouldn't recommend dining here unless they seriously step up their service game.

The Smoked Chocolate Caramel Cake dessert is out of the world! Be sure to try it!! Excellent, fast service. But the dessert spoon was covered in ice cream and the cake did not seem to be in the best condition. The icecream was also mostly melted. For vegetarians and vegans: Decent number of vegetarian options (and some vegan options) are available. Like Yasai Yaki Soba, Vegatsu Curry, Katsu Curry, Yasai Chilli Mein, edemame, mushroom bun, etc. All are excellent! If you order anything with Katsu Curry, be sure to order extra bowl of Curry. Locations is excellent. There are many located across London, but this one on Wigmore Street is right behind the mall - Selfridges. Just 1 minute walk from Oxford Street. Payment system is terrible. QR code doesn't work. If you plan to go by London Tube then then you can get off at bond Street station and walk for 4-5 minutes.

Service: The service was disappointing. I waited 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me and guide me to a table, despite the restaurant not being busy. Staff made eye contact yet continued to ignore me. The manager at this location would benefit from proper training—or a replacement. Food: Ordered hotpot, it came back with a weird smoky taste as the potato has been burned and the whole taste is off. This is the worst branch in London. The head office doesn’t seem to care either. Rubbish!

I visited after the lunch rush on a weekday, and while the restaurant was only about half full, it took 20 minutes for anyone to come over to take my order. After that, the food took quite a while to arrive. When it finally did, it was tasty, as expected from Wagamama, but the service felt disorganized and slower than I would expect. Not quite the level of service I associate with Wagamama. Let me know if you’d like any adjustments!

You can't get wrong with Wagamama, delicious dishesh most of the time. The waiters were polite, but we waited a lot for food and for the bil and also delivered our desert first and the ice cream melted. We ordered lovely edamame beans with chili salt, chicken & prawn soba noodles (without the prawns), teriyaki soba noodles (they were very oily..), orange juice and cloudy lemonades for drinks and the chocolate caramel cake.

Food and drink was really good but unfortunately we had a number of issues with the service. Our order was taken incorrectly (but fixed after it was pointed out) and the server insisted we pay online via QR code but it wouldn’t work, so we ultimately had to pay by card. Food wise, the beef donburi bowl was the highlight, the brisket buns were also a great starter!

This branch of Wagamama's on Wigmore street is a weekend treat, as it always seems to be relatively quiet compared to the branch in Covent Garden. Easy to get a table and you aren't forced to listen to someone else's conversation. My one gripe on my last visit was the time difference between my food arriving and my lunch time companion's food, which was excessive. This time, all was good and the staff were very friendly.

Honestly don’t know how they’re an up and running business or how “Bhav” has a job?? I asked for a specific dish without ginger and I got laughed at because they knew it was my first time trying Wagamama’s, felt so intimidating. Then I got wrongly charged and when I had asked for a refund they made it seem like I had asked for the whole world. I asked to be refunded the difference instead they insisted I had to be charged TWICE and “the refund will come in over a week are you sure you want to do it” then was told “it will take about half an hour to print out the paperwork are you sure”. Like what?? I had to eat a meal loaded with ginger then was over charged twice for it. When I had asked for tap water they completely ignored me and just didn’t bring it out. Disgusting establishment honestly they run like a high school full of mean girls.

Unfortunately I can’t give this branch of Wagamamas any stars whatsoever. What a shame also they really don’t care about customers reviews,they don’t reply to them. On entrance into the place , we were met with a surly 😠 faced girl ,we didn’t say anything and she was laying out a table left of the front entrance. ( note the place was practically empty) She made us wait until she had finished setting up the paper mats and bits. Then didn’t even say Sorry to keep you waiting! Just said follow me ! lol Took us to where she picked up the menus and a lady walked up to her to ask a question. So she made us wait again!! While she chatted to this woman with her back to us. Once at the table we caught the eye of another waitress who was just chatting to her colleague and she took our order. One meal came up the other did not and I just sat there. Finally I think a manager came over and said what did you order, I told him and it came in seconds. But the first waitress should have followed up! I don’t think I have ever had great service in any of this chains locations. Such I shame it hasn’t improved at all.

As someone who loves Wagamama, I've visited numerous locations across various countries, and this one stands out as one of the best. Our server, George, went above and beyond. He made sure neither me nor my boyfriend had any allergies before taking our order. He meticulously accommodated all the modifications we requested for our ramens. We've been knowing Wagamama for years, so, not much surprise about the food, that is more or less the same everywhere, with slight differences. From that standpoint, not the best in terms of size of portions, but no big difference with the others. The problem here is the service: you do not feel welcome at all as a customer, they ignore you until you really go to them and ask for a table, doing their job seems to be really painful for them, no good advise about the food, no care. The brand of a franchise is not enough to make it a success. Like in every business, what makes the difference is people. Someone would have to start managing this place!

On a rainy day decided to have a quick lunch here. The female waitress (Emma) was friendly however almost £8 for two cold pork buns well I almost choked on how hard the pork was and it was so cold. The male waiter took it away, no apology. He asked whether I wanted a replacement or taken off the bill. I said (conscious of food waste) if it could be made correctly then yes. Some 20 mins later, a portion was dumped at me and I was told by another cheeky male water in a baseball cap. “Do you want to check that’s hot enough” and proceeded to walk off. Needless to say it was just as the original portion was served (see attached photo). A while later a third portion was produced which I refused. I have slowly stopped dining at Wagamama for this reason as NO ONE acknowledges reviews, in particular I had a concern about plastic being found in one of the dishes in Hammersmith which I had partially swallowed. Silence from their Head Office… My partner is looking at a premises nearby which caters for the clientele that work in the area. It is fair to say other catering outlets will thrive as Wagamama is really not delivering on quality or service!

ATTENTION DANGER: We live locally and we ordered vegan food from this restaurant on Tuesday evening. Straight after eating my daughter had gastrointestinal issues. The next morning she woke up with horrible nausea and threw up 9 times which lead us to A&E where she spent the day with IV and medication. She was in a lot of pain, dehydrated and with a rash on her face quite typical from food poisoning. We stayed until late and went back the next morning at the hospital request, rash her face and pain in stomach. Third morning: still strong nausea. Deliveroo escalated it and yet for the restaurant owner to contact me and yet I HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED YET. So whatever this is, food bacteria, cross contamination or an employee with dirty hands, I would avoid a restaurant with such little care for the way its food is prepared/stored and mainly for its customers who got sick eating their poisoned food.

Food wasn't bad but not exceptional, the staff was very rude! The kitchen closes at 10 p.m., we had dinner around 9:20 p.m. and the waitresses were already cleaning all the tables, refilling bottles of soy sauce, that's why we hadn't any at our table. I provided a set of sauces by myself, there was one on a table nearby ours, few moments later a waitress came and asked for it. It was around 9:40 p.m. when they asked if we wanted something else to eat, 'cause the kitchen was going to close. Fair enough. We had other dishes while some people were just sitting. Around 9:50 (kitchen still open) they switched on all the lights, started to sweep the floor and asked a table next to ours to pay the bill, the man almost chocked himself trying to finish the dish. We all felt chased away. They were running back and forth to close the restaurant as soon as they can. This is unacceptable. I hope this will help to provide a better service.

Average visit, we’re regulars at Waggas! Had my usual steak Terriyaki, steak very dry and over cooked, it’s usually medium rare, food not particularly hot. Couldn’t find any veg other than a couple of pai Choi pieces so lacked ingredients. Same for kids meal. Child’s meal didn’t arrive until I’d finished my meal. Long waits for both food and drinks. My first time visiting Wagamama Wigmore street, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The service was excellent; I asked the lady ( a staff member) to recommend a dish for me since it was my first time, and I appreciated her suggestion. I regret not asking for her name, as she was very nice, and the service was quite fast. I would definitely visit again.

I'd been wanting to try wagamama for years, and it did not disappoint! I tried the chicken gyoza ramen and prawn appetizer with chili dip. Both dishes were tasty and flavorful, although the ramen broth could have been warmer. I also got the non-alcoholic mojito beverage which was a refreshing complement to my meal. However, I was charged for an item I cancelled which I didn't realize until after I paid. I would opt for a paper bill instead of doing the online, pay via phone bill to be sure.

The ambience and atmosphere were pleasant. Although the service started a bit slow, once acknowledged, it became efficient, thanks to a very good and informative server. A notable aspect was the option of bean sprouts for those who don't consume carbs, which was pleasing. The food was flavorful, well-presented, and offered good value for money, especially considering the restaurant is located in the West End of London.

It’s such a nice place to eat after shopping in Selfridges. The food was great. It’s great for someone on a ketogenic lifestyle plan. The only thing I had an issue is was the QR code online payment system. The page was too slow and full of pop up ads. I tried several times to enter the payment details. So someone needs to sort out the online ordering page

Food was good but our waitress made it quite clear that serving us was an effort and that bringing us some water was just too much to ask (despite asking more than once). We even got a theatrical wave across her brow as if she thought she was too good to be serving in a restaurant. It’s rare for me not to leave a tip as my daughter has worked in restaurants in the past and I know how poorly staff are paid….however tips are paid for ‘good customer service’ certainly not what was experienced here this evening….

On 10 January 2024, they had to close mid service because the kitchen was forced to close. This restaurant has mice. The mice were comfortably running around which suggests that this was not a new problem. Unfortunately, we did not notice until after our meal. They did not offer us our money back. We left so quickly, we left several baby items. We will not be going back for them.

All you can eat happens in 6 rounds of ordering. Great food but service slow after first round of all you can eat
