Walmer Bridge spice in South Ribble

I consider myself very lucky to have this takeaway in the village I live in. We eat from here once every couple of months and a set meal for two, with an extra starter does us for two days. I can't remember having better Indian/Pakistani food from any other. takeaway. The food is excellent, from memory, hygiene rating is 5 star. The guys who work here are always busy, but when dealing with customers, they are pleasant. To add to that, the prices are very reasonable. It's a great takeaway.

WOW! This must be the best takeaway i have ever been to. I'm comparing this to a top restaurant for food quality and the size of the portions. I had the Bass Maza, fish was perfect and plenty of onions and peppers.

We've used this place over the past 16 years - superb and never a bad meal yet ! Still the go to for Indian takeaway for me in 2024!

Best Indian takeaway for miles around. Very good value for money.

The food from here is not the one. Butter chicken was revolting, it looked and tasted like sick! Meat samosas looked anaemic and were bland, garlic naan also bland. The only thing that actually was ok was the prawn puree but everything else was vile. I genuinely can’t understand how it has so many good reviews. Will not be back, ever. Sorry.

Unless you want to visit The Gaylord in Mumbai . . you won't get a better King Prawn Madras anywhere . . Consistently EXCELLENT Thank you

Restaurant quality Indian food but to take home ..you can't beat this place locally for quality and price ..very nice staff who will make your curry the way you want it .. The khan special is fantastic ...Best Indian in the South Ribble area by far

This is one of the best Tandoori take aways I have been to and I am lucky enough to have it 500 yards away. Every meal I have had has been excellent even down to the vegetable curry that comes with the set meals. The staff are very friendly and the price is reasonable.

I love this place. Always get good food and its nice to have a chat with the guys as they cook.

Really nice food all made fresh. Not sure if you wanted it spicy it wouldn't be as food wasn't to hot (spicy) but I don't like it to hot. But if you asked they seemed nice staff that could make spice changes. Definitely would go back.

Being gluten intolerant and with other food allergies I have to really careful where I eat and match a great meal with an allergy free experience I always check before I buy and with tye Walmer Bridge Tandoori we also get a double check as they always ask The staff are working hard on their reputation and it shows With great food a clean premises and a really pleasant environment

Absolutely beautiful food. Was recommended by a friend i have since recommended another 4 people who have since been and also love it. Really good on price. We had been to naaz in Hesketh bank and Tarleton Tandoori. Neither of which are a patch on Walmer bridge Tandoori, an a lit more expensive. Highly recommended 5*+

Just had a mix roll it was delicious all the meat was cooked to perfection and just the right amount of salad and sauce. Very good take away.

1st time we've used this place as only just moved to the area and we will defo be using them again.. Had chicken biriani and side dishes and was more than enough for 2 of us. Was ready bang on the time they said it would be and tasted delish. great value for money too..
