Wasabi in Merton

No thanks, it simply didn’t taste fresh and the meat ingredients were poor quality.

We have eaten at wasabisabi many times so we’re really looking forward to our takeaway for my husbands birthday. Despite ordering over a day in advance our collection time was pushed back by the restaurant by half and hour. The eel. sushi and Gyoza were lovely but the rest was so so disappointing, the beef was chewy, the chicken so dry and overcooked that it was inedible and the salmon was flavourless and again over cooked. We will probably give you another chance when able to dine in again but we definitely won’t be ordering takeaway main dishes again

Food cold on arrival. Ebi Tempura Prawns; prawns old or overcooked, too chewy to eat and batter not tempura but thick and soggy (thicker than fish and chip shop batter!). Udon with Beef: beef overcooked or old also - too chewy to eat and broth & all other ingredients tasteless / unseasoned. Sushi dishes: very small portions, old chewy prawns again, vegetables in sushi wrap unwashed (grit inside wrap which crunched against teeth). Provided with chopsticks, but no soy sauce at all! All went in bin after tasting - £37.15! Waste of money, never again!

Ordered at 10.15pm, rang to see where it was at 11.00pm, was told it had left the restaurant and on its way. Rang back at 11.30pm, no answer. Rang back at 11.45pm, no answer. Knock at the door at 12.15am ☹️. Food cold. Not impressed at all.

overcooked seafood tasted like rubber, walked in asking for collection owner / manager was rude telling me to have to 'collect myself' pointing to the other side of the restaurant, makes one think if he is following any covid guidance, allowing me to walk in all over the place would surely be more of a risk.

What a meal! Just what the doctor ordered! First time getting a delivery but have eaten in several times in the past. Everything arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious. Counting the days until we order again!

We felt the food was expensive for what we got.

The dishes we ordered all tasted fresh and well flavoured, unfortunately there was no chicken in the mixed tempura which was disappointing

Wonderful food, welcoming staff on collection. It was tasty and was a healthy option (for a take away!)

Prodotti standardizzati dalla catena quindi se la si conosce non riserva sorprese, il locale è molto piccolo con pochi tavoli a sedere che danno sulla balconata prospicente la grandissima hall della stazione di King's Cross proprio sopra il negozio di Harry Potter, ormai mi capita di tornarci ogni volta che vado a Londra perché ogni volta visito il negozio per vedere le novità.

the food was a little unbalanced - there was only 1 or 3 of certain things, meaning splitting with my partner wasn't simple. But it all tasted good!

Compare to sushi which i ordered in their restaurant is huge difference in quality and taste. Minus for luck of chopsticks we got forks insteed... plus for very friendly staff

excellent meal, however it was a little bit on the cold side when I got it home. maybe needs to be packaged better so it stays warmer for people that collect and take home. still very tasty though!

We always enjoy our food here. Every time it has been tasty, fresh and the service is lovely. Will definitely be back!
