Waterfold Farm, Dining & Carvery in Rochdale

Came in this afternoon on a whim, luckily the lovely lady and man at the door were so welcoming and got us a table straight away. We usually go for carverys but decided on the main menu. A bit of a wait for food but was worth the wait! The staff are always so lovely every time we come in.

Great place value for money and excellent service from a waitress named Tegan Roberts who was polite and welcoming to the Waterfold

From walking in the staff member Vaun made us so welcome, myself my daughter and her 2 young children. She chatted to all of us and was excellent with the children. She is an asset to your company

Always Warm and inviting. The Staff are always pleasant and helpful and the food (we generally always have the carvery) is really good

An hours wait for food. Excellent quality when it did arrive, though. A bit cramped in and over crowded. But good overall.

This is a hidden gem of a place, The carvery was exceptional, looked good, smelt good and taste fab, The cake we had was so big we took more than half home for the next day. This will most definately be our go to place for carvery, and cake of course, Thank you Waterford for a great dining experience, And on Xmas Eve too just brilliant.

With the cost-of-living and extra stresses everyone is feeling it's a joy to go somewhere different and just relax and enjoy the evening. We take part in the quiz which is now adding so much family time and my children can also join in and has now become our weekly visit

Came on Wednesday evening. Served by a girl called Millie on the bar who was lovely and very helpful. When bringing our food over she was very polite.

Ordered 3 items and have been charged for them… only received one courier said that was all he was given and to call the restaurant…. Tried for 10 minutes no answer … Absolutely pathetic service

Just took my disable brother out for a small carvery what amazing floor staff the young man was n the young lad who served us nothing was to much trouble the chef was professional to 10/19 lads

We went for the Sunday carvery we ordered large meal with extra Yorkshire pudding and 2 pigs in blankets I ordered 2 Yorkshire puds but got 1 I asked for 1 pig in blanket but was given 2 the lady serving didn't listen at all .We got 1 slice of each meat each which I thought you got anyway. All the meats looked amazing the turkey and ham were cooked perfectly but we both had to leave the beef as it was ridiculously hard to cut through and then we couldn't chew it !!! The bill for 2 of us with 1 beer each was £45 to be honest we have had a better meals for less .we came away full but both just unimpressed sadly 😥.

Went for a family celebration today at Water Fold Farm. Food was good as per usual staff attentive good came quickly. Atmosphere is very seasonal and works well to enhance the experience. Thanks to Dan Chloe and Oscar all of whom made this visit very enjoyable. Very professional attentive friendly and an assett to the restaurant. Well done all will be back again . Thanks.

Drove and hour and a half to visit my Grandad who lives In Heywood so we could take him for a carvery, upon making the booking over the phone we knew we'd make the right choice. Gorgeous place, lovely atmosphere and wonderful friendly staff, we had a lady called Jess .C. who was our waitress, she was lovely, very attentive and went above and beyond! So thank you Jess.C. you made our visit very enjoyable and we can't wait to revisit!

Visited for food on a Friday night whilst staying at The Village Hotel. We both had fish and chips. The food was piping hot and so nice. Not often you get such good quality food from a major pub chain. Would also love to visit for the “cuppa and cake” special offer during the week. Thanks Waterford Farm 👌🏿

We really enjoyed our carveries on Wednesday teatime and had fabulous friendly service from Pam. I couldn’t manage a dessert so we took some cake home instead.

Great food! The Waterfold farm team are also amazing supporters of their chosen charity Macmillan Cancer Support and have raised over £4,000 to support our work this year. What a brilliant team and such a lovely environment ☺️

Visited with my friend and daughter, I must say Ash that served me was one of the most pleasant, tentative staff members I’ve come across. People like Ash are an absolutely asset and should be recognised for making customers smile on a dull November evening

We had the carvery and it was lovely, the restaurant was very clean and the dessert selection was delicious. Pam our waitress was brilliant will definitely be back!

We went for dinner on Monday night. The food and service was amazing as always. Tom took our order. He was fantastic. He was very helpful and very patient while we were ordering. Two had the carvery, and two had the cauliflower salad. We all really enjoyed all our meals. It’s really a great place to eat and the prices are good. Go eat there and enjoy.

Had a brilliant time tonight, great food which left us both waddling out with full stomachs. Atmosphere was top notch felt at home. And top of all was our service, from the bar staff to our server Millie who made sure we were comfortable and well prepared for our food, she was very well manned and was a very bubbly character who checked up on us to ensure our food was adequate. A great job to all the staff with there efficiency even when the restaurant was packed. Didn't have a pleasant experience but we did speak to the manager who resolved the situation. I would come back again to give it another try though

Had my mums surprise 60th meal here with the family, Millie was super, dressed the table with the ballon, and really made an effort when bringing out the cake. Fab service x

Order food off just eat and turned up cold and incorrect. When I rang the restaurant they were unhelpful and didn't care. When you looked on just eat they wanted me to contact the restaurant for them to sort it out. I still haven't received a refund or had any contact with anyone from the restaurant or just eat. Would never recommend this restaurant.

Carvery food cold lovely member of staff took it away to be put in microwave which should not have to happen very very disappointed the only good thing was the staff which were very polite .

Always love coming to Waterfold

My partner and myself often visit this restaurant and in the past few months it has gone downhill dramatically. All vegetables/potatoes/yorkshire puddings offered in the carvery are constantly overcooked and inedible, it feels like they forget it all in the oven and then remember at the last minute that food needs to be timed. There is also no consistency, you can order a large plate and be given less meat than someone who orders a regular one. The tables are all reserved in the adults only section meaning that they put you in the kids section, numerous people left last time they were placed in this section. Yet 30 mins after we left they were all still reserved and no new customers had attended? The staff are rude and always look like they are forced to be there, unless you count them having arguments with each other about the food, they barely speak to each other or bother to smile at all. My partners food had been taken by the same glasses wearing lady when he hasn't finished eating the past few times we have been. I do not recommend this place at all, please do yourself a favour and visit anywhere else. I vomited in the car park of this restraunt due to how bad the food is. They seriously need to change staff and management in here to avoid going under

Had a wonderful lunch, carvery and cake was delicious, staff very polite, but it made even more pleasurable by a lovely lady called Vaun who recognised I was struggling walking with my stick and looked after us very well making sure we had everything we needed and never stopped working all the time we were there thank you Vaun x

Carvery dinner was excellent with a huge piece of Marz Attacks to take away, coz I couldn't eat it straight away!

We were a party of around 10, we had booked in advance, for 4pm, to celebrate a birthday. We ordered the meals, with starters for some of the party. When the starters were brought out, one of the main meals was brought out with them (this was not requested to be done). When the starters had been finished, we were waiting for the plates to be cleared, but they were not collected, when we told the Manager about this, she said (flippantly) " I'll sort it". After about 2 minutes 2 staff members came to the area we were in, but cleared plates from tables that had already been vacated and ignored our tables. 15-20 minutes after that, we were still waiting for the starter plates to be cleared and the main meals to brought out. After being chased up by us again, they started to bring out the main meals but had still not collected the starter plates, we had to ask the server to clear the table, as he was turning away to leave. The members of our party who had ordered the carvery did not want to get their meals until the rest of us had ours. This left are party feeling disappointed. Luckily, we have been there on numerous occasions and the service was great. Had this been the first time we had been there, we would not be going back.

Nice place ,we had the carvery, which was very nice ,you can get a standard of small plate which was very good value, play area for small kids is good too ,will be going again 😀
